Hotel was very clean. Room was small and quaint. It is in a great location that you can’t beat. The service was great. Air conditioning was wonderful.
Cons: Expensive. Mattresses have grooves from where previous customers slept. WiFi barely worked. Only local tv channels.
The breakfast was 17euros each. It was terrible. The breakfast consists of cold hard boiled eggs, orange juice from concentrate and various jams and dried fruit with stale bread. I’m confident in saying nothing was freshly made from that morning.
One more reason I didn’t give full five stars: the beds were so used I felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. If you are a side sleeper better learn to sleep on your back real fast! Otherwise you’re not going to sleep much.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed it. The staff was superb, it was walking distance from everything, and the room we stayed it is beyond words. You must stay here if you come to Amboise, France.

This hotel charged my credit card the full amount of $644.84 the moment the reservation was made on March 3. I had to cancel it within the free cancellation window. It has been more than five months, and this hotel never refunded anything despite repeated contacts by Booking and my credit card company. This place lacks the basic business ethics. Stay away!!!

Stayed at this beautiful hotel last night on our cycling tour of the Loire valley. It was wonderful!! Stay here!! You will love it. Great service. Beautiful room. Excellent breakfast.

Welcoming staff, cute old world decor, spacious room, and free parking. Just a short 5 minute walk to Château d'Amboise and nearby cafes/restaurants. Staff was helpful to carry our luggage to the top floor and the air conditioning was refreshing with the hot weather. We even had a view of Amboise from the bathroom! Staff was helpful in offering restaurant recommendations. Excellent location to stay for visiting surrounding chateaus! Highly recommend!

Lovely suite in the Center of Amboise. We do recommend this hotel which has spacious and beautiful rooms. Affordable middle class price with beds like clouds.

Charming hotel within walking distance of everything you need to see in Amboise. Very kind and helpful staff. Our room didn’t have a shower, but did have a bath with a shower head - you just can’t use it and stand up. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little big / firm.

Nicely appointed in the heart of Amboise. Easy walk to get to all the local shopping and dining. Villa rooms are quite small but well appointed. Internet never worked for me here and not sure why even though they claim they have wifi.

We had an excellent stay here! Everything was just perfect, Carlos is an excellent host and knows Amboise inside out, he did everything possible to make sure we have the best time. We will definitely come back to this hotel!!
