Good: Great location, short walk to town and decent restaurants. Clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff (even in English !). Well placed to see some of the WW1 battlefields and cemeteries. Adequate breakfast. Good value.
Not so good: you have to go to the reception first to get the pass (10€ per night) for the underground garage, the assistant on the intercom at the garage entrance doesn't speak any English. You have to reverse out park, check-in, get your pass then park. The car park has VERY narrow access both in and out. The hotel parking is on the third floor down. I drive a Toyota CH-R and it tested my driving skills ! It requires reversing to set the angle to get round some of the bends.
Facilities in hotel were good, staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice room, good size
The rooms are small and not clean.
Heating was well. Only 1 pillow and no extra blankets. Beds are small.
The bathroom was small. The shower looks old.
Only 1 towel for each person.
I stayed in other B&B hotels were are the conditions much better.
Very convenient for Amien centre, everything good, staff friendly and helpful.
Only issue was the underground car park - apparently you need to collect a ticket from the hotel first to access. It’s on a busy road so stopping there wasn’t easy. Also there is a height restriction in the car park.
The first room we've got had a hard vacuüm sound. The second room was connected with the room of other guests with a door in the room and you can hear the neighbours very good. Even the snoring, wispering and the bed sports.
