Quirky, well positioned! Hotel is quirky, with fun decor. It is in a good area with some grand buildings, and restaurants. Rooms not big and furniture squeezed in. Fine for us as overnight stop on long trip

The room I rented was very basic but clean and quiet. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing in the area and has a variety of restaurants close by. It is a quite a walk from the train station, all uphill. The buffet breakfast is over-priced for what is offered.

Lovely, quirky hotel right in the middle of the city so very convenient for everything. The receptionists were excellent, so bright and helpful. Particularly helped with the parking as it’s quite tricky when the small car park is busy. The rooms were interesting - each seems to have an individual theme with different colours and attractive vintage furniture. Very comfortable with lovely linen bedding...

Okay but better places Good central location, and pleasant reception staff. A bit dated and disorganised with stuff lying around on the third floor. Rooms quite small. Noisy cleaners talking loudly (shouting) in the morning. I’m sure there are better places to stay in Angouleme.

Loved the quirky style of the hotel. It is also well placed in Central Angoulême. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

I must say that the rooms could use a touch of freshening up and feel somewhat dated. Our room, in particular, lacked blinds due to a malfunction, and the curtains were not sufficient to block out the light. Also, a little air conditioning would be nice for the summer months. However, the reception staff were very pleasant.

Passage for one night, very good value for money. Very warm welcome. I appreciated the confirmation text with arrival instructions. Having decided to change the reservation at the last moment (I requested a room with 3 beds instead of 2) they responded immediately and favorably to my request with great kindness. Impeccable room and bathroom. Special mention for the huge shower! Very comfortable bedding...

Nice hotel, booked through booking, Reception was closed after 9pm but was given the door code and key was in an envelope with my name on it. now and then could hear the trains with the windows open but the room were nice and clean. parking was a bit of an issue but managed to find somewhere in the end.

Hotel chosen by my company, top-notch welcome, refurbished rooms, a terrace for the summer, a fireplace for the winter (too bad not yet lit), 10 minutes from the station (on foot), 30 min from the historic city center (always on foot) and along the Charente. We look forward to returning to these places.

Warm, family-friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the kindness of the reception staff who were very pleasant. The hotel is very flexible when it comes to changing rooms. Private parking and nice breakfast. I would definitely go back.

Everything was perfect from the welcome to the room including the breakfast which was complete, very good reception. The receptionist was very helpful thanks to her! The only microdefect was a door that closed poorly in the bathroom. I recommend this hotel.

very beautiful and pleasant stay in this establishment I highly recommend, very well located in the city center ideally for strolling through the old streets of Angoulême. The staff is there to take care of you.

Decent hotel, half way up the hill between the station and town centre. Helpful staff, good sized room with separate bathroom and WC. Excellent WiFi connection, good selection of channels on TV. Very original decor including industrial machines converted to tables and a vintage petrol pump!

We stayed in a room on the street side: incessant street noise and traffic despite the double glazing and the comfort of the room. No rest that night... On the other hand, everything else was great.

Little hotel opposite the towns train station. Arrived Sunday night for stopover, parking was in a public car park. Room was fine, fan was much appreciated.

High quality hotel in an a beautiful and historic hill top town, with great architecture and many dining options

Comfortable with safe parking Stayed in a suite that was very comfortable. Nice to have the extra space. Restaurant was nice and food of good quality, perhaps an extra waiter would have made it quicker. Good location near the centre of the town. We had a bonkers car with no roof, doors etc so secure parking was very important and this hotel has private underground.

Love where the property is situated. We were only in Angouleme for 1 evening but could easily access many restaurants in quaint cobbled streets with live music and a lovely atmosphere. Later the live music at the hotel was very enjoyable and we were able to visit the market across from the hotel early the next morning. We didnt like the pillows, finding them very hard, but overall a really pleasant...

A comfortable and convenient hotel with pleasant staff and good facilities including secure parking. The bistro style dining was excellent and we took the smaller breakfast option which was great too. The central location is perfect, right in the heart of the old hilltop town with many historic buildings and great views.

A very professional stuff willing to help and provide non-standard services. The food and the restaurant has been amazing and offered above average services.

Beautiful rooms, quiet and relaxing pool area, quiet setting with a very luxurious feel. Loved our 1 night here and would not hesitate to stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel, set in a tranquil garden, with a lovely view. The staff members were helpful and very friendly, and the room was enormous, interesting and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk into town, and around the ramparts of the city. It’s a pity we had just one night, we would have liked to have stayed longer. Very good breakfast
