We asked for a ground floor room when booking because of age, but not available on arrival because of coach party. The young man managing breakfast was very helpful and cheerful.

we had 2 cats with us they like the food en the toy they received their beds were ready too

Stopping at the hotel and returning from holiday. Well located rooms in perfect tranquillity after a day on the road. Great staff. Special mention on the way back for the delicious evening buffet which delighted parents and children...were happy when popcorn was added to dessert.

The hotel was fairly easy to find and there was free parking. The location is a bit strange as it is surrounded by high rise flats and offices. Car park has no gate and local youths sitting on steps at hotel entrance made me feel uneasy. Not much in way of restaurants nearby. Bed was comfortable , rooms are small but have everything you want. Shower was also good in a very compact bathroom. Colour schemes in the hallways & rooms a not the best. Bar shut very early which was disappointing after such long drive

The building and rooms are rather shabby and a bit gloomy and small. Rather a stretch to put this into the STYLES category of ibis hotels. Nice staff trying their best though. The location is very central for Bourg which was great. Remember the strict French rules of eating and drinking though - NO LUNCH AFTER 2 pm.

We stayed at the Ibis Styles, Bourg en Bresse, on a cold, foggy night. The hotel suggested a convenient parking area with a charger for our electric car, and also suggested a fine restaurant (very near-by) for dinner. A friendly welcome, and a comfortable night.

I like this place. Great location and uncomplicated. We had to change bedrooms because the bed sheets were used before and during breakfast a member of staff slept on one of the tables but hey it was the 29th of December. Maybe it needs leadership.

Lovely location. Shame about the bar at this Best Western needs improvement with being an actual bar.

Lovely old building in the centre of town. Room was very pretty with large original windows overlooking the square. Bathroom was en suite with a good large shower. Mini bar and safe in the room. This hotel also has a garage for €14 per night but it is secure but free parking on the square. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel run by another company. Food was absolutely delicious , quite unexpected...

Good location close to shops and restaurants but quiet. Very comfortable hotel. Parking outside but 2 hour meter. Hotel parking in garage around 11 euros a day best to reserve especially in peak times.

Usual Best Western standard. Nice room with good facilities in a great location. Would stop here again. Didn't use the restaurant, looked very nice but a bit expensive and there were plenty of local restaurants to choose from.

functional hotel, really meant for a one-night stay. Rooms were clean but very small and the bed was super uncomfortable. The location was good, the old town was only a 10 minute walk away.

Great for a stay over when traveling but very expensive in their restaurant. I ordered lasagne and when it came it look enough food for a 5 year old my wife had pasta which was ok and a decent amount but nothing special for what they charge even a small bottle of water was nearly £5 or 4-80 euros. It is Easy to find the Hotel Terminus. Just across the railwaystation. You get a code if you have reserved a parking 8€ indoors. Friendly staff. Nice garden. The building is "classé"/oldfashioned. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Perfectly located for a stop on the way to the Alps. Only 2 hours from Chamonix or Morzine. The town itself has a superb cathedral and 5 good restaurants 20 mins or 4 mins drive from the hotel.

Nice hotel, certainly a bit dated but impeccable cleanliness. Nice continental breakfast. Strong point: ideally located for visiting the monastery and the apothecary.

Great for an overnight stay on the way to southern France. Pleasant rooms, good breakfast, nice staff. However, our room faced the street, which you can hear quite loud when the window is open. Garages can be rented, great for a full trunk. Many restaurants within walking distance.

We were really positively surprised. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are garage spaces for guests. Breakfasts are from fresh and healthy items. The town's centre is a short walk away, but the beautiful monastery is just across the street.

Awesome Hotel. I stayed with friends overnight on the way to the Alps. The hotel is lovely. The staff are great and it's in a great location (5 min walk to the centre). We spent a lovely evening drinking and playing pool (great table), slept well in a great bed and enjoyed a quality shower. The stay was topped off with a great breakfast of local produce. Recommended.

Typical budget hotel in the Ibis chain. Looked fairly new and had AC in room. Friendly check in staff. Room small but clean and perfectly adequate. Went to pizzeria next door which serves a variety of dishes other than pizzas. Obviously has a great local reputation because the car park was completely full when we left.

The outside may give the wrong impression about this hotel, the rooms are modern and well working if simple. Staff is friendly and the downstairs restaurant is nice, especially the patio in the summer.

Good for one nigth sleep. Room looks clean. bathroom looks clean but the bathroom floor theres a foot mark and the towel is super dry and hard it will leave scratches on your skin.

Slightly odd location tucked away behind security fencing. Extraordinary dinner, spectacular menu, good wine list and great service from Marie.

We did not stay in the hotel as we live nearby. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends today. Excellent service, beautiful decor and cuisine of a very high standard! We will be back and look forward to the spring when we can enjoy the lovely terrace.

This hotel is screaming for a make-over.... very drepressing to see. Although the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was not clean. Breakfast oké but simple.

Not bad place when you only need to sleep. Only the blankets look like they were last time washed at least 5years ago

The only reason that we don't come back are the beds. Give us a call if you have softer beds, and we will be back. Even better, let people chose the hardness of the beds, just a suggestion. Don't know if that's possible, but that would be great :)

Value for money we have stayed here on our stop from Calais to the south many times and look forward to our buffet and wine a good nights sleep easy parking and breakfast. always pleasant staff. So easy off and back on the motorway.

Yes stayed tres fantastic -FROM IRELAND ,the three members of staff that i spoke to at the hotel in villefranche. (half hour from Lyon).EXELLENT I don't speak french, I needed a place to stay -some help with language and travel information, certainly equals anywhere in the world. BRILLIANT

Service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The rooms could do with a deep cleaning, however. All in all it was acceptable for a budget accommodation.
