This hotel has a good location, beautiful view, nice breakfast, small but comfortable rooms and friendly service. We loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. Would give five stars but I left my blouse in the bathroom and when I contacted the hotel they said they didn't find it. My fault for leaving it, but I really hoped to get it back because it was an expensive top with sentimental value.

A quick night through Cassis. We got in late and checked out early as it was just a hotel to get us near the Calanques. It was a nice hotel and a great location. The room was pretty basic but t he bathroom was clean and modern! The bed was comfy. The breakfast was pretty big and very good! The Pool looked lovely even though we didn't have time to enjoy, would have liked to have another night here....

The hotel exceeded expectations especially the breakfast and poolside area. This summer I had the opportunity to visit this wonderful property. Very well locate, with Parking space (vital in summer, by the way!) beautiful view to the main spot of Cassis, warm pool and a very friendly environment. I definably recommend this hotel for your future vacation in France. Maybe a relax after the Olympic Games?

I rated this 4 because of the location, as it’s walkable to the waterfront. The rooms are small and there’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage it’s difficult. They have limited parking, which we were lucky enough to get. They have a nice heated pool.

it is okay but far from being luxurious. for one night it will do if you do not demand high standards. it sure has seen better days and needs renewing. though the location is good. there is no parking if i remember right.

Not the best hotel I have stayed in, but probably the cheapest in Cassis. The location is excellent. We had issues with the shower head and management were not very keen to fix it immediately, but luckily they did the day after we reported it. Wifi does not work in the rooms. Only in the restaurant. Just as a note: The entrance is through the restaurant.

Just a stones throw from town centre, this property has exactly what you need. We had a full sized apt with balcony that was spacious, clean and equipped with modern appliances with a full sized refrigerator. Very quiet property. Amazing helpful staff. Our accommodations were very small and cramped. Mini fridge and hot pot in room. The bathroom was small and lacked privacy or ventilation. Close to Old Town and Port and only a few minutes from train station. Towels and bedding are tired looking

We had 2 different rooms, both were unique and nice, not your standard room. One has a sky light, one has a private patio with lounge chairs. Great location to the harbor!

Also known as Eden Cassis, this was a great relaxation for us. Away from the hubbub of the wonderful town but only a few minutes walk, the apartment was well equipped and only steps out to the beautiful pool area. So lucky to have found this and the lovely people. Book direct to get free car parking.

Not to be missed! Absolutely spectacular property. Loved every minute, and enjoyed the small town vibes more than the bigger, more famous seaside towns.

This is a beautiful hotel property with stunning sea views from your suite. It was a wonderful stay, and we cannot wait to return.

We really enjoyed the area, location of this property as well as the view and beautiful grounds, but unfortunately, this property does not meet the standards of 5 star hotels on the inside. The property rooms are in need of major renovations. The rooms are small, the bathroom in the classic rooms has a tiny sink designed for children, not adults. This hotel had wonderful restaurants including the breakfast buffet. My only complaint was poor accessibility for anyone who has problems with stairs

Great stay, cute rooms and grounds, but sauna and spa cost 15 Euros per hour extra, however, they do provide complimentary access to bathrooms and showers the day of checkout. There is a convenient bakery, grocery, and pizza stand just up the street for a quick meal in a pinch!

What a lovely spot just up from town center. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at Royal Cottage again.

Calm and healing retreat I wish to thank all the staff for your warm welcome and kindness. After a very difficult week of travel my daughter and I did not want to leave the peacefulness and friendliness of the Royal Cottage. Very close to the old town. Very nice staff. Parking is great given there is very little close by.

I found the Royal Cottage to be clean and have a convenient location. They had a nice pool that closed early and served breakfast that required a 24h notice if you were to order. It seems as if the staff were to be more convenienced than the guests. For what the hotel had to offer compared to its price point, I found it to be overrated! It felt more like a 2 star than a 3.

The property is older building but well maintained. The staff are great and it adds a family feel to the entire experience. Excellent location in an amazing town.

Our stay at Jardin d'Emile was delightful. Very quaint and well-appointed boutique hotel. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our room had amazing sea views and was just across the street from one of the beaches. The town of Cassis is beautiful. Although the hotel is not in the main part of town it is a short 10 minute walk.

The room had a large deck overlooking the sea. Wonderful property. We highly recommend. Great location and great room.

We stayed here past 2 nights. Really quaint and nice hotel. Comfortable and clean room with a lot of character. Breakfast was simple but of good quality and nice. More coffee could have been offered though. Service was very friendly and the hotel location is excellent, just across from the beach.

Cassis is nestled into the cliffs! The Jardin d’Emile is an Amazing location, beautiful views, lovely breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable and spacious overlooking the Mediterranean. You could walk to the water front and enjoy delicious food, drinks, local shopping, and village life.

This is a nice comfortable place. It is away from town on a windy road. My advice is to be very specific on the accommodations you want. My friend and I booked a room with 2 beds and the hotel assumed 2 people would only need 1 bed, so they didn’t even put sheets on the other bed. I was told I should have added it to the comment section of the online reservation. Housekeeping had already departed...

Cute place with a lot of charm. There are few things to keep in mind when booking, which we probably missed or misunderstood. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, off national road, with absolutely nothing but nature surrounding the area. The town of Cassis is 10-15 mins drive away. This stay was a real pleasure in one of the most pleasant surroundings, close to the city center, the port and the restaurants of Cassis. Our hosts were very caring, very good advice to discover the surroundings and above all very friendly. The breakfasts are a real treat, always presented with the same attention. In a word: PERFECT!

It's a little paradise between 5 and 10 minutes walk from the port of Cassis we spent 10 superb days thanks to Rodolphe and Fabienne excellent breakfast magnificent stay

We had a pleasant stay in Cassis, and in particular at La Bastidaine. Charming quiet guest house, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Maud is very friendly and her breakfasts are a treat!

We were only able to spend one night there, to our great regret. The owners are charming with great professionalism and take the time to chat with their client. The place is sublime, well maintained and with a very beautiful view. Top equipment and very comfortable room. The breakfast is all homemade. Excellent value for money, we will be back.

My wife and I stayed in a harbour view room which provided a fantastic view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did pay for parking at the hotel which was convenient but there is public parking that is less expensive down the street but we loved the convenience. We enjoyed a leisurely buffet style breakfast which I would recommend.

Great location on the harbour and very friendly staff

On the recommendation of friends who stay every summer, we spent three nights here this month. We had a simple but spotless room on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the harbour. The breakfast on their terrace is well worth the extra cost and the two ladies on the front desk could not have been kinder or more helpful. All perfect - we look forward to staying again!

The Best Western Hotel in Cassis has a great location, close to the beach and right in the heart of Cassis. The staff are also very helpful and friendly and were able to provide first aid after my partner had got a small graze from walking in a rocky area in the nearby national park. The location is good and the room condition is very good as it has been recently renovated. It is very convenient as it is very close to the beach and restaurants. However, the room size is a bit small

We have a family of 5 (3 kids aged 10, 8, 3). Plus the grandparents. It’s not easy to book a hotel for 7, and be next to each other. We had a room with a bunk bed and upstairs (duplex floor) had a huge queen bed and extra shower. My 2 boys squeezed into the lower bunk and my 10 yr old had the upper bunk. Worked out fine. Didn’t stay stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant - a tucked away gem of a find. The setting is a gorgeous romantic terrace, lights strung up in the trees, friendly & accommodating service from the two gents run off their feet! The menu is simple without too much choice and the fare absolutely delicious.

Two part review. The hotel: We stayed at the hotel in July. Room nice enough, ceiling fan super powerful which helped with the heat. Manager very accommodating and helpful. The nearby church bell tower made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. I realize that the hotel can’t really do anything about it, but depending on how soundly you sleep it could be an issue for you. Price of hotel was excellent...
