B&B HOTEL Centre Gare1 / 20

Dunkerque, 15 rue Belle Vue - Place de la Gare 🧭 Map
Perfect location right across the steps of the Centeral Railway and city bus. Very clean rooms, attended every day by housekeeping even during short stays. Fast elevator (Brit tourists will feel the difference). :)) Two paid coffee machines on site, drinks dispenser and free microwave in the lobby. 2 minutes to a shopping center with fantastic brewery-and-dining pub, working till 11 pm. 24/7 reception...
Ok for survival mode. Nothing special, nothing really wrong. Ok breakfast. Very acceptable rooms except the lack of enough sockets and lights. Hairdryer in the room is a plus, if you use that sort of thing, worth noting for female travelers.
I visited as part of a cycling tour. Not my first stay at the hotel, and I'd happily return again. Staff helpful and efficient, room clean, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast doesn't have the range of products some competitors offer, but it's all good quality and frequently replenished, no-one should go hungry. Location is great, right across the road from the Gare & with many excellent restaurants...
The location is very good, the hotel staff is very friendly, the room is very clean, you can see the city view, which is very good. The hotel breakfast is also relatively rich. It is recommended for tourism or business trips~
Excellent hotel with small gym, great staff, underground parking. Good breakfast. Well placed for Dunkirk centre. Highly recommend

Great central choice in dunkerque
I have one word: location. It is perfect for walking around in the city, and there are some lovely shops around. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean. I cannot ask for more. Next time I will still book the same hotel. I had a lovely stay.
Very nice place. Hope to be back again.
All is good. Still with restrictions.
Basic clean 3* hotel conveniently situated close to the main square & restaurants. Somewhat dated lift to upper floors. The table lamp & one of the bedside lights didn't work. Clean comfortable bed & a fixed shower over the bath. Basic but adequate breakfast. In-house bar was closed on the night if my stay.
This is a pretty basic hotel. Hassle free parking outside (at night at the weekend, don't know about weekdays). The room was clean but quite dated. Staff are helpful. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The hotel is about 15mins from the DFDS ferry.

Nice and friendly lady greeted us during breakfast. Fabulous collection of lamps/vases knickknacks in the reception. The room was very simple but clean n comfortable. Hallway and entry a bit dingy.
Super hotel for rest during trip. Very clean, comfortable beds, free WiFi. For such small money, I don't expect so good standard! Very polite service. Recommend!
This is a friendly and serviceable hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is filling continental. The onwer is very helpful.
Cozy and quiet for being in the middle of town. WiFi is good, but breakfast seems to be expensive, so plan on eating somewhere else. Biggest positive, the windows have metal shutters so you can sleep how ever long you want without being woken by the Summer sun at 5am. Biggest complaint is that the bed is a spring mattress with absolutely no padding, so you feel the springs digging in the entire...
Good price, excellent location, clean, friendly staff. It's just a bit basic and rough around the edges. Could use some attention to detail and a coat of paint. Noisy neighborhood at night, though with the windows closed it's fine.

Nice location and nice clean room highly recommend and definitely we will come again.
The owner was very on hand and came quickly when I couldn’t get into the building
Lovely, clean hotel, great for short stays, convenient for the beach and beachfront.
Down stairs lobby and restaurant were beautiful. The rooms are very basic. Ok for the price and a 1-2 nights stay as a stop gap for traveling. Unfortunately the hot water was off for the night. Not the hotels fault but they apologised and supplied us with breakfast and coffee to go. Wouldn’t recommend a family stay but ok for couples/ mates traveling through. Beds were clean and room was clean, the...
It has two stars and certainly is not worth anymore. Plus side, it is close to the beach. It advertises free parking but only a few spaces, all occupied when we arrived late afternoon. Check in via restaurant next door. Rooms small, ours was at the back and reasonably quiet (if you ignore everyone's toilet.) Rooms on the front pick up noise of everyone passing by outside. Don't bother with breakfast...
Business Trip stop and great location nice staff stopped and had the muscles in the restaurant which were great and 110m to the beach and bars

Lovely hotel in Dunkirk This is a stunner of a hotel right on the shore in Dunkirk. Lovely room and bar/lobby. Because we were on a roadtrip for F1 we had a car which was accommodated by the parking lot. (We had a Volvo XC60, and it was a bit of a squeeze even though not full, so best if you have a smaller car to maneuver.) Nothing but positive feedback and highly recommend staying at the Merveilleux...
Really lovely place gorgeous decor and amazing sea views.
Lovely hotel! Nicely decorated, clean, lovely toiletries, very comfortable and lovely helpful, polite staff. Thoroughly recommend and would love to return.
Dunkerque Lovely clean, friendly hotel in excellent position with stunning views.
Perfect Place Great view of the North Sea, clean comfortable rooms, great service and on-sight parking. The breakfast was also very good. Conveniently located right on the beach.

The hotel is a good place for an overnight stay and conveniently situated for the crossing. There is a bus stop nearby for a hike into the T/c but not very good diners nearby to sample French cooking. It could be said the place might be overpriced for B&B in Calais perhaps more competition may alleviate that issue.
Very pleased with the room and service!
Clean, easy to check in and fantastic location if you are taking the Shuttle back to the UK. Great stop-over hotel.
Did the job Good enough for what we wanted. Pros: Easy to find 24 hr check in Parking Clean Comfortable bed Coffee/tea in room Cons: Room quite small Difficult to get water
It's a good hotel very near to the car ferry port! The service was to the best. And breakfast buffet is OK!☺️🌹🙏
I stayed in this hotel in Calais, France for one night before going to the UK. The hotel is not high-end, but it has all the basic facilities. The breakfast feels a little limited, but it is enough to fill your stomach.

3* might be a little bit harsh because it served its purpose, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Towels could have been fresher and there was no toilet in the room and there was nowhere to wash hands in the communal toilet! Overall was happy enough with my stay and I've stayed in much much worse places that were more expensive in the past. Would stay again for a short stay if that's...
Clean and tidy and only a short walk to local pubs and restaurants. A bit on the noisy side but it's ok for an overnight stay as it's fairly cheap and close to the ferry terminal.
The hotel is very modest but clean and the stuff was nice by letting us to check in in the morning. The only minus was that it's located right across the street from a school and it was hard to rest during the first part of the day (very noisy)

A great option for a short stay in Calais. The hotel is clean, modern, and conveniently located with easy access to the city centre and ferry terminal. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming. The room was quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed for a good night’s rest. Excellent value for money — would definitely stay again.
I picked this hotel as it is ideally located near the channel tunnel. Literally about 5 minutes drive. My only issue was when checking in. I was extremely tired from having driven 7 hours to be told that my booking had not been paid for! I had 100% paid and I had the receipt to show them but it took them about half an hour to finally see that trip.com had sent the money. By this time I was at crying...
Convenient for the ferries. Parking on site is difficult at busy times as there were a lot of big trucks taking up 3 parking lots each. Far from the city centre. The only eatery nearby is American fast food Memphis Cafe or McDonalds. No air conditioning in the room nor a kettle or fridge.
Very noisy up to 1.30 in the morning. Check in was supposed to be 12.00 am not te case as Rome weren’t ready.
The staff were welcoming, the location is excellent, and free parking is available. It's a great stopover for a short rest before heading to the port.
Very good location, quick check-in, friendly staff. The rooms are small, but quite clean. The bed was excellent. Ideal for a stopover to the final destination.

Yet another stay! We occasionally try alternatives, but these stays away from the magnificent Meurice only convince us that we are right to believe that nothing can beat this wonderful, atmospheric hotel. As is normal in hospitality, staff change regularly and work different shift patterns. On this occasion the receptionist saw our car arriving and came outside to meet us. We had never met her before...
From the minute we walked in this hotel it wrapped us in Old fashioned French charm. The decor, furniture and sweeping staircase set the scene for a charming visit to this lovely hotel. The receptionist was friendly and informative, she spoke excellent English. She gave us directions to the Square in the heart of Calais where there was a very good choice of restaurants. When we went up to our room...
Didn't like the hard close room doors, which slammed with an immense thud. Otherwise perfect. Lots of character and maintained to a high standard. Certainly the best Calais has to offer.
We started our motorbike tour staying here 25/07/25. the receptionist was very accommodating and welcoming, we even got secure underground parking. It is slightly dated but in a good way. Class furniture that doesn’t go out of date. We then came back to this hotel on 02/08/25 after not being welcomed at our Reims hotel so my friends booked the room and we travelled another 270kms to Calais to be...
Stayed 4 nights at the beginning of July and had such a fantastic time. Reception and breakfast staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect, with a large comfortable bed, power shower, hanging/folding space for clothes etc. The bathroom was well stocked with essentials: cotton buds, shower cap, soap/shower gel, nail file, comb. There was also tea/coffee/water plus many English...
A little tired, and reminisent of times gone by. Extremely helpful young lad when we arrived on Saturday evening, but breakfast lady was impatient and rude about our small dog, which we paid extra to have stay, not being allowed into breakfast. I've no problem with that but the manner in which we were told was terrible given she is no doubt building a career in hospitality. Update: 12th May. I have...

Stayed here in November 2017 while visiting Calais and Dunkirk i cant understand why this place has some negative reviews on here. Thank you very much! We were very well looked after by the hotel staff, and we had a great night’s sleep in a comfy bed with delightful pillows, and a very clean room. A baby bed was even brought in for us. Very kind and helpful! Thank you.
Breakfast was great and had a great variety of food. Very clean and spacious hotel.
Nice hotel with good enough space for family. Parking is fee around the hotel on Street.
Ideal location for our needs. Close to a great selection of restaurants.
The location of this hotel is really good. It is not far from the lighthouse, the train station and the city hall. It is right by the sea, with nice views and many restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities are OK and the hygiene is OK. The only problem is that the toilet seat will fall off by itself when you put it on.

Nothing fancy with this hotel but reasonable rooms and staff are helpful. Good for basic stay or just an over nighter. Location is right by the town square. Had no problems finding parking. Right by restaurants and bars so plenty of places to go.
Very warm and spacious room with pleasant service. Lovely shower and balcony. Perfect for our family of 4 and comfortable beds. VERY HAPPY. I will be using the hotel again.
Inexpensive and good quality rooms for the travelers. Pet friendly, open doors at midnight, nice shower.
Good cheap place rite in the middle of all the shops food places and stunning buildings would stay again for defo
Does exactly what it says on the label. Bed comfortable enough and shower good and hot. Bathroom a little small and one of the lights didn't work, but at £85 for 3 nights it was OK. Didn't try food or coffee: no need as there are many good places within 100 metres of front door.

Just stayed for one night after arriving from England - nice location and decent room
This was a economically priced hotel which did exactly what was offered - a clean comfortable room which is fine for one night and close to two centre transport links.
Thanks massively to the guy who checked us in - very easy and quick. About 8 min walk from the train station. Lovely, quiet area. Room was clean and nice for one night's stay. Bar area was an added bonus and we returned to use it before leaving Calais. Thank you massively
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff made a very stressed Texan feel welcome and comfortable, during a very difficult time. Excellent place, excellent staff, and perfect location.
The hotel located inside city centre and opposite there is a mall and Carriefour which is very convenient , staff is very helpful and they are so nice to offers us tea at the middle of night

Really nice place and excellent location at city center. Really nice environment and highly recommend.
Good location, wide variety of breakfast options.
Very handy location for the ferry. Beds incredibly comfortable. Quite noisy outside due to city centre location. Not enough staff at breakfast so couldn’t maintain supply of plates, knives etc quickly enough or clear tables at peak time. Odd system in the room where you had to press a button before you could open the door. Not sure what the advantage of that is. Layout of family room was nice to give...
Good location with restaurants around. Basic facilities inside the room and it's fine for a short-stay. The hotel car-park is small and only a few parking lots available. Luckily can park on-street nearby.
Service was good! There was some stain on the carpet in the room. If the breakfast could come with hot choices would be perfect.
Calais doesn’t have much to offer ; more of a transit town . IBIS is a little random ; rooms are minimal but convenient for a nights sleep. Breakfast is reasonable with good buffet selection

The pictures look nice, but reality is clearly different. There were no towls! What hotel does not have towls? We were in a room right on the street, lots of partying people in the street, which i get because it was the weekend. Just to take that in account when you book here. Bathroom was clean. Location wise it was good, staff very helpful, very good breakfast, bed very comfy, downside, the hotel could do with a refresh, room was abit run down, but clean.
Lovely quirky old style hotel. Very convenient for all the restaurants and bars of Calais all within a few minutes walk without the hassle of driving and finding parking. Free Parking is right outside the front door of the Hotel as is a nice little Park for walking our dog. All in all good little hotel, great and friendly reception staff, hassle free parking and a few hundred metres from all the restaurants...
Functional hotel for city visits. Nice, clean, comfortable and convenient location. Staff were lovely and breakfast was nice and generous. Will definitely stay again. Although next to the station, it was surprisingly quiet.we recommend for Calais and surrounding visits for sure ☺️
A charming provincial hotel - unchanged for many years. Staff were lovely. Room was clean. Breakfast was Good - maybe they could add an omelette to the menu?
