We booked to stay here as our half Way point for travelling back to the UK. We chose as the reviews of the restaurant were good. We arrived and unfortunately they didn’t have a record of our booking, which I had made by phone 24 hrs previously. Thankfully it wasn’t a problem and there was still a table available in the restaurant. We also have a small dog which they welcome but one of their own...

It's the best most welcoming restaurant. The chef is not Michelin star for nothing. Exceptional!!! And above all the hospitality is unrivalled! I love this place and the people!

Very handily situated near to Limoges-Benedictins railway station. The reception staff were excellent and went out of their way to assist me when I was stranded in Limoges due to an air traffic controllers strike. The room was above our expectations. It was warm & comfortable. The only thing that was a bit challenging was the location of the toilet as the bathroom was under the mezzanine & the toilet under the stairs part.

Staying in B&B Limoges 2 was exceptional. The bedding and the room were really clean, the price was fair and the breakfast copious and tasty. One little thing, I wish there had been more than one Automatic Room Dispenser and the person in front of me encountered a problem with it so we had to wait a long time while he solved it.

Excellent location - close to autoroute, nearby estaurants and supermarket fuel. Excellent welcome and help from the lady at reception and partner, but they couldn't overcome the problem of useless WiFi - not secure and won't connect to websites, WApp or email - a problem at other B&B.

We had a five day stay at this hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk to the center and directly across from the train station. So if you are coming by train, it’s the perfect place to stay. Great and affordable little hotel, centrally located and within walking distance to the Limoges Bénédictins train station that will connect you literally to the rest of the country, including a direct hop to Paris. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms as well as a decent onsite restaurant.

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The receptionist spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful and accommodating.

This was the smallest hotel room I've ever had, and I've stayed in hotels all over the world. Only had a bathroom, a tv, a bed. Everything was fine...except the breakfast, which did not match the description on the hotel's web page. No scrambled eggs, no bacon, no sausages. Instead there were a few slices of cheese and charcuterie that looked as if they had been there for several weeks. They were all curled up at the edges and were quite inedible.

Very nice and clean, friendly staff

Excellent hotel and a great value for the price. I had never stayed in a Hotel Campanile before, but will look for the chain again after this experience. Well located, friendly and attentive staff. Nice amenities including an inner outdoor courtyard. Perfect for our dog who was with us. Well equipped, modern and clean rooms.

I'm still amazed that a hotel chain like Novotel consistently neglects to include a power plug on both sides of the bed. Other than this, the hotel is OK. I do however get the impression that the difference between Novotel and Ibis isn't as big as it should be, considering the price difference.

Room was alright however far over price bar €8.50 for a pint of beer.....seriously.

Very good food in simple plates. With the teams that I travel we have a standard menu, so I cannot judge the variety, but the quality is very good. Also nice place, right next to the lake, and I think they were renovating it.

I had a great night at this hotel. From the outside you might worry about what you had booked, but please don't judge it by it's cover. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. My room was small but very clean and comfortable. I also had parking you access from the rear of the hotel for my bike.

We booked two rooms one of which was el dirty: the bathroom had another person's business in it still and the overall hadn't been cleaned. We had to change it. I have nothing to reproach this hotel. It's clean, the reception was great, she was energetic and engaging. The room was perfect for a night's stay. Everything worked well. Breakfast was above my expectations. Great choice of food. We requested a parking, which was inside, and a plug for charging our electric car. We highly recommend it and we will be back should we need to stay in town.

What a lovely well located hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a decent size with large bathrooms and bar fridge, safe and double glazed windows you can open, free street & internal parking. Great decision to stay here.

Nice clean hotel. Secure parking - always a plus when travelling by motorcycle. Coffee making facilities in room were appreciated. We arrived on a Sunday for an overnight stay when most restaurants are closed. Cecile translated the menu and helped us to order pizzas from the local pizzeria and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area

Excellent welcome, lovely clean room. Excellent facilities, complimentary coffee, fruit, madeleines on arrival. We were early and they arranged for the room to be ready early. Will definately stay again. Limited parking but you can reserve in advance. There appeared to be lots of parking available on the road for free.

Rooms are small but clean and everything you need for a short stay is present. Next to the highway but you have to drive a little (4 minutes) to get to the hotel after exit the highway. Parking is safe and secure zo great for people who travel with a lot of stuff they don't wanna take out of the car.

It's good to know that there is a 24hr reception so that even when you arrive at 23:30 there is someone to give you a key. All the rooms are recently refurbished in a basic, clean, functional style. Everything you need for an overnight stop.

A quiet town. The front desk can speak English. But you must bring Google Translate when you enter the city because the locals basically only speak French. The hotel parking lot is 7 euros. The cheapest night in France

The 2nd time we've visited this hotel, really friendly staff on reception, thanks for allowing us to arrive 1/2 hour early. Room very clean and spacious, bathroom also immaculate. Internet worked perfectly, had a kettle and cups so we were able to have tea, provided but we bought our own milk, sorry being English don't like it black. We will be back when we visit Limoges again.

An absolutely delightful stay so clean and modern. Breakfast was very well designed continental breakfast , fresh tasty and extremely substantial,served by friendly and most welcoming staff. Within easy reach of all the best Limoges has to offer would definitely recommend.

Spotlessly clean. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Always ready to help. We had 2 young children who needed milk etc at odd times throughout the day. Always ready to accommodate requests. Great breakfast. Lovely junior suite with air conditioning and good ventilation. The room was of a very high standard. Clearly a great deal of care, love, and attention has gone into the whole place.

Advantages of the hotel 1) location - great and very central 2) room sizes - quite generous 3) confortable bed Disadvantages 1) quite outdated 2) the AC unit was directly oriented at the bed 3) one particular reception staff member was quite rude and aggressive which didn’t help. I find all Mercure hotels to be good and this one lives up to that reputation. I got a room on the second floor facing the square and it was very spacious. There was a lot of desk space and also a coffee table with 2 chairs. In addition I had a balcony facing onto the square. Very convenient for central Limoges, good public parking and "Superior" rooms with balcony are excellent. Just a shame there's no restaurant for dinner albeit that there are plenty of local restaurants, one of which provides a limited menu for room service. Good breakfast options are served in a dining room so not sure why dinner can't be an option.

Ok place to stay overnight. The area has a bit of a dodgy feel to it, but we did not experience any else than friendly faces on the street. The hotel is close to the city center, and has a private parking for an additional EUR 5,- which seems fair as the alternative is to park on the street.

This is an independent hotel so cant be compared to the national chain hotels .. its a small hotel by the very small Les Alizes airport .. The rooms were clean, but very basic .. don't trust those pictures on the website.. i had a standard room in a very dark unlit corridor, I'd definitely go for the upgraded rooms if you can.. it was a nice continental breakfast though. This is a strange hotel. The rooms are large and in good shape, but except for the bed, there is nothing useful in the room, in a way of furniture. Instead of a table there is a wall mounted shelf which is too shallow to put a laptop on. The chair is a basic metal design which becomes painful after only a few minutes sitting down.
