Beautiful property with great views, but the building is hard to navigate and does not have fitness facilities. Very tasteful decoration and the smooth valet parking is a plus as well, those running it were excellent and very friendly (even charging EV). Would recommend for a ski vacation but would have predeeed closer to town with kids.

Very expensive over the holidays. Not worth the money. Staff ok, room very small and bathroom smaller. Breakfast was very good. You need shuttle to take you to the mountain and they are not very reliable. Would not recommend staying here. There are nicer hotels near the mountain then this one.

Nice spacious room but very dark. We've to try to switch on every possible lights. No air con, so get ready to be baked at night. I particularly love the area where your clothes hang (lots of hangers) and space. Bathroom is spacious and easy to operate. Fitness room only starts at 7am. Stayed for three nights in july with 2 adults and 2 kids (8&10). The hotel location was great, 3 min walk to Megeve centre and 1 min walk to Palais swimming centre. Free entrance to the pools and gym of the Palais is a huge plus because otherwise it would cost around 30€ per adult. Hotel has a handy parking garage which costs around 20€ per night. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The place is charming. However you can easily get lost trying to find your room. The pool is nice so is the jacuzzi. Good, but not at the price level. Good hotel, but far from town. Does NOT have a ski room. The walk to the ski lift is quite far after they drop you off in town. Then you have to take 2 ski lifts up. You can’t even ski in after, there’s lots of stairs etc to go back. Its really inconvenient if you plan on skiing a lot. I suggest you stay in Mt Arbois.

The most quaint, laid back but luxury hotel. I’m a regular here, and can’t help but to keep coming back! Loved our stay in Grande Hotel Soleil d’or. Excellent comfortable room. Perfectly placed to enjoy Megeve and also to explore Annecy , Chamonix and many more. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Megève. Arthur was amazing—one of the few people in Europe who actually help with luggage! He carried our bags, showed us where the parking was, separated the beds as we asked, and went out of his way to help us with everything. His service was truly exceptional. We enjoyed our stay with Les Loges Blanches very much and Megeve overall. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best we have had and Le Bar was also excellent. It was a great value for the service and quality of the hotel.

Usually don’t write reviews but we had an extremely enjoyable time here. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and speak very good English. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The pool and sauna are great. The cherry on top was the bar. The bartender’s cocktail creations are delicious and she is very proud of them. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel is connected to the Hôtel l'Arboise just below. The Mamie was actually closed for the season, and we were upgraded to a suite at the Arboise!

The room was nice and the view was great. The breakfast was simple but filling. There are shuttle buses to the ski resort and the town at the foot of the mountain, every 20-30 minutes, and the drivers are very accommodating.

This was a nice surprise. We came go Megeve to stay at Four Seasons, but had one night to stay here from Midnight to 9 am. Thought it was a charming, family run, mountain hotel. Amazing hotel, we stayed in a suite which was lovely, 4-poster bed with two balconies, overlooking the mountains and the town. The staff were incredible and found us a room at short notice after our rental fell through, they couldn't do enough to help and are a huge asset to the hotel! The food is lovely (though a bit pricey) and the location is fantastic, right at the bottom of the main ski lift....

The food here was brilliant, served extremely quickly and good portion sizes. The selection of food was also very good, and the service was fantastic. My only issue was that this place gets pretty warm if you are sitting at the back of the restaurant.

We were in a party of 10 and had a fantastic stay at the Royal Rochebrune. Both ladies on reception were very nice and were very helpful. The bedrooms were spotless and beds extremely comfortable. Just came bacjk from megeve where i attended a niece's wedding. i have been coming here for the past 25 years (megeve) and i have stayed here before, at the time had a different name. place is a joy. i loved the breakfast, the peace, the view, the outside lounges. i would go back now. staff could be quite "gallic" at times, mostly a woman at the bar but french people need a little longer to warm up...

Magnificent and spacious rooms with super-comfortable beds, an old family farmhouse typical of Mègeve beautifully restored and decorated with superb larch furniture, "cosy-cocoon" lounges, a really nice exterior for reading a book or having breakfast, the fountain , all 4 or 5 minutes from the city center and with adorable and caring owners .... Michelle and Adam are wonderful. They were extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay which is clearly evidenced by the numbers of repeat visitors they received while were were staying with them. We extended our stay twice in large part due to how happy we were with the comfortable room. We hadn’t slept so well in ages.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. My family and I stayed here during the Tour de France and Michelle and Adam made us feel right at home. The location is phenomenal and steps away from the town center.

Such a beautiful hotel in a lovely little village, Megeve. As always a warm welcome and friendly team. Most people staying here have been many times and it's like meeting old friends ... New guests are soon adopted into this warm family. Circumstance has stopped me from being here for a few years and I realise how much I have missed it.
