Hotel L'Equipe in Morzine

We stayed at this hotel from 18th-23rd Dec 22. We went as a couple and took our son for a skiing trip. The hotel is located directly opposite a piste and the location is fantastic. The room was also great. All wooden and looked exactly like we had our own shalet. However, the owners would allow there dogs to run outside at about 6.30-7.15am and bark uncontrollably which woke everyone up on the rear of the hotel. This was completely unacceptable and the owners need to realise that people go to the hotel to sleep and relax aswell as ski. The pool area never had the sauna or steam room working which was a big let down, as after a hard day out its nice to come back to relax. The underground parking was great and the rest of the holiday was great. But the dogs barking was a big let down. I am unaware if the owners realise what problems this caused. But I couldn't speak much French so I thought I would leave it. But for £235 per night I expect to be able to sleep. The dogs are wonderful but being let out to bark was extremely annoying. Also we ran out of the shower gel that the hotel provides, as it was almost empty when we arrived. When we asked for a replacement we were looked at like we had two heads. We were given a 10ml one to replace it which was ridiculous. But apart from these issues it was good.

Been all night awake because of very active and noisy gnawing woodworms in the toilet door and woodwork of my room! A coffee or small breakfast at 7am on a working day was not possible. No staff at check out.
