Ibis Budget Centre Gare

Rooms were ok but they were doing a terrible job of breakfast. Judging by the crumbs, the breakfast should be a reasonable light french breakfast, perfectly acceptable for a free hotel breakfast in this class of hotel. However when we turned up about half way through service, there was half a baguette, half a croissant, no coffee cups, no bowls for cereal. So effectively no breakfast. We were told more was coming. After hanging around for a bit, see more cutlery arrived, and someone tool away one of the empty pastry trays. Several people seemed to be involved in providing breakfast, but none moved with any urgency or seemed able to provide any food. 40 minutes later, the scene was unchanged including the same crowd of angry hungry customers, so we went to a cafe

I was arriving to the town at midnight, so I called them beforehand to make sure they are accepting check-ins. They told me they are open 24 hours. When I arrived they still had 4 available rooms in Booking.com for the night. I wanted a room but they told all the rooms are full and told me I can't book the rooms on booking.com. Either they weren't telling the truth or they weren't keeping Booking.com updated. Either ways, I needed to find myself another place to visit in the middle of the night. I wish nobody else needs to live through this.
