Driving home from Paris, we stopped halfway and stayed at your hotel. We chose it primarily because of the free, secure parking, and so glad we did, as we had a problem with our rental car and couldn’t get the doors to lock! Although a block away, the parking is very secure (behind a closed gate at night) and put my mind at ease.
Once we checked in, we found the room to be comfortable and the hotel staff gracious. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Good hotel for stop over
Nice hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and I noticed as we left they were installing overhead rain showers. The only slight thing was we arrived on Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed as was most restaurants. But we ate at a restaurant called the metro around 20 minutes walk away which was fine.

This is so much better than the usual overnight stops. Very pleasant dining area and bar. Secure parking and friendly staff. Never is a very interesting place to wander round apart from the roadworks. Would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean rooms, quiet location about 15 minutes walk from the old town. Nice people. Skip the restaurant - you’ll find better food elsewhere.

we had a good stay at the Kyriad hotel in Nevers. We were kindly received by the receptionist. The room was clean and modern but the beds were a bit like cups, the matresses were clearly used for a long(er) period, i stayed in room 103, this room is above the entrance which, besides the fact that the building is already very noisy, the entrance with people talking and smoking did not help. So ask for another room if you get 103..
The breakfast was good and tastefull but the breakfastlady was quite grumpy, maybe because i didnt know my room number in French..
So overall, it was a good stay and i think if i had another room i would give it 3.5*.

The hotel was in a good location and was clean with AC which was very welcome on a hot August night!
The reason for the average rating is due to the male receptionist. Despite being fluent in French, it was obvious that we were English tourists and we were treated differently as a result. While checking in and out, whether it was another member of staff wanting to chat or another client checking out, he would stop our interaction in order to serve them. Very disappointing.
