First thing to say - Bourges is a great city, and one we must visit again and spend some time in. This budget hotel was just fine for what we wanted, though the building and some of the decor was looking a bit tired. Our room, the staff and the breakfast were all fine. Easy walking distance from the hotel into the town.

The hotel was centrally located for all of our walking and driving excursions. Parking is free for hotel guests.

The hotel is located on walking distance from the historical center of Bourges. A typical Ibis hotel: basic, but clean and convenient. Breakfast was ok. You can also have dinner in the hotel. Also here, food was average but adequate. So if you just want a place to sleep, and nothing more, no reason not to go to this hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 5 years and I will continue to go when traveling through Bourges. It is perfect for a one-night stay. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. I have always found a space in the car park just outside. Overall, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is pretty good with a large variety of teas, fruits, breads, etc.. The hotel is located near the city center and a short walk to the palais de Jacques Coeur. Lots of bars and restaurants only 10-15 min walk away. The only thing I don’t recommend is the hotel restaurant.

On the plus side the restaurant food in the evening was very good, a cut above what we have experienced with Ibis hotels previously.
On the negative side we booked a room which was listed as having a double and a single bed. The single turned out to be a very uncomfortable convertible chair which was far from adequate.
Apart from that our short stay was enjoyable with the hotel being ideally located in the city

Lovely hotel situated on the edge of the town.
Staff were excellent and very helpful.
Had evening meal as an extra, very nice and reasonable priced.
Breakfast was included and was plentiful.
Rooms are decent sized, good showers.

All of the staff at the Ibis Bourges, in particular manager Fred, were friendly, helpful and efficient. Their efforts made all the difference to our stay (which had been unexpectedly extended). The hotel is very clean and well-run, and the evening restaurant (with daily specials and an appropriately sized and priced main menu) is a particular benefit. Bedrooms are small, but the bathroom is ample. We enjoyed our stay.
