Novotel Suites Reims Centre

We stayed here for a short stop over on the drive home from Switzerland to the UK. The location was fantastic and we were able to easily walk over to Reims centre where we ate dinner and had drinks.

The hotel was easy to find, it does not have parking dedicated but a multistory car park is literally next door and the hotel does offer a slightly reduced rate here which you pay for when you check in at reception, just exchange your parking ticket you get from the matching for the one they give you at reception and pay the fee.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. Check in was simple and the person that helped us spoke English well and gave us the usual directions to our room and about breakfast the following morning. The room was light, bright and modern. There is a modular design which means you can pull screens around in the room to partician off the sleeping area from the sofa (where a child would sleep if using as a family room). Top tip - the screens are see through if one area is in the light and the other in the dark. They obviously don't do anything for keeping out sound either.

Breakfast was great, not too busy and the food was hot, fresh and all kept topped up so everything was always available.

Check out was simple and we just dropped out key card into the quick check out box.

Overall a great stay, very happily would recommend here to anyone visiting Reims.

Basic functional place, does what it says and nothing more, nothing less. Rooms were clean but ours had a slightly smelly bathroom - we figured out it was intermittent and probably something to do with the plumbing. Since we were only staying one night for a pit stop in Reims, wasn’t worth complaining about. In general the hotel was OK for the money and I’d stay there again.

We have now been staying at the Novotel
Suite for two nights. The bar is definitely a highlight! Jonathan is honest, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests.

This hotel is highly recommended, not just for the bar, but also because it is a clean and fresh hotel!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. As the hotel is close to the city centre, everything is close by.

Breakfast was OK and of good quality, but nothing special, same with the bar. Lobby is very nice with free newspaper and water / ice-tea and some games (and a very large teddy-bear for cuddling).

Outside terrace can be nice, if there is no train standing next to it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A few infos for wheelchair users: Our room was not really suitable for wheelchair users (disclaimer: It was not advertised as being wheelchir-friendly). Door is rather heavy and also has a little "step" in it, which is not easy to cross on your own with a wheelchair. The toilet and the bathroom are too small to be used with a wheelchair and even though the shower was advertised as "walk-in", it has to be noted that both the toilet and the bathroom are only reachable via a step, for reasons which I don't really understand.

Clean, high quality, there is a Russian-speaking staff.

Warm, Covid-friendly reception on arrival from very friendly staff.
Rooms large and tidy.
Breakfast is also Covid-friendly but very generous and extremely tasty. Fresh fruit, fresh pastries and bean-to-cup coffee, on demand.

Nice hotel near the train station of Reims. Friendly staff at the reception and the location is excellent for a city trip to Reims and Epernay. The city Centre of Reims is a 7 min. Walk and parking is around €11 for 24 hours in the parking garage next door.
