Hotel Txoko

We stayed there for 5 nights. It’s just perfect on every point, matching perfectly the definition of Txoko : cosy and confortable. Location can’t be better, rooms are comfy, silent, well decorated and equipped. Breakfast is of a very good value for money and tasty. Big thanks to Claudette (the amazing manager) and all the lovely staff that played a great role in making our stay in Saint Jean de Luz a wonderful experience.

This hotel has a great central location, comfy rooms, great breakfast, proprietress Claudette very friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly. Highly recommended.

Best real life definition for a cozy room: small, but comfortable, modern decoration, fully equipped.
Coffee machine and snacks as compliment.
Great bathroom. Air conditioning.
On top, staff is so nice and hospitable.
I stayed here 18 years ago. Everything has been fully renovated since. So, now it's even better. And all this for a fair price.
I will come back. Sooner than in 18 years time!
The hotel consists of 9 bedrooms in total. Not sure if all would be double. Location on a pedestrian street, makes it impossible to provide parking service. No kitchen service, but you can pre-order it at a reasonable price (do it before 19h the day before, or you'll miss it, like we did!).

Absolutely loved the location and Claudette is such a fabulous host. Nothing was too much trouble and she is a great ambassador for the town too. There is not a better located hotel in St Jean de Luz. Highly recommended. We had room 5 with a little terrace too. C’etait très sympa!

Very nice hotel. In a busy atea but all you hear are the lovely church bells in the morning. We had a room with a terrace where we had a gorgeous breakfast. We will revisit.

Located in the prettiest street in the gorgeous St Jean de Luz, Hotel Txoko really is something special. It is spacious, luxurious, comfortable, and with lots of little extra touches that really make you feel welcome and special. The wonderful host really understands hospitality and goes the extra distance for her guests. Being a stone’s throw from the beach and having lots of restaurants, it is a busy, buzzy, bustling street with a fair amount of noise into the late evening. If you don’t mind that (and we certainly didn’t), this is a perfect place to stay in SJdL.
