Hotel very well located. The hotel is very clean, the cozy atmosphere is very pleasant. The decoration is really elegant. The thalassotherapy is also excellent. The hotel staff (reception, maid, waiters) are all very pleasant. I recommend this establishment

Hotel was nice and spa is great, but they say they have parking included which isn’t the case. We had to queue to get into a public parking and wait for someone to leave which can be ages if you did what I did and go during peak season as it’s in the busiest part of town. On top of that, we had to pay 19 € per day for the parking. For the price you pay for the hotel, this is really a joke.

Beautifully renovated, spacious rooms and very close to the beach. Dog friendly for $20 euros a night.

Lovely Historic Hotel This is a majestic old (but updated) hotel with excellent service. They gave us a tour of the facility and explained all the available services. The whirlpool, sauna, and steam room were all included in the price of the room. They even upgraded our room to ocean view! What incredible service at an incredible hotel.

excellent staff! The front desk (Cami) welcomed us even though we were early for check-in. The Concierge (Julien) helped us with our luggage, dinner reservations and early morning travel arrangements to the airport. Merci!

The superior room assigned was very clean, with very good bedding. 2 night stay. Cleaning done and towels changed at the end of the 1st day. Good and plentiful breakfast. Room overlooking the street but well soundproofed. Hotel very well located in the city center. Free station parking nearby. There are places there at the end of the day. Very good exchanges with the reception staff.

Considering the price, we were very pleased with our stay. We were not looking for many amenities, but just wanted a safe, comfortable bed, with a bathroom to stay for the night. The water pot and tea/coffee is always a nice touch. The internet was wireless and we had no difficulty connecting and streaming Netflix. The location is perfectly located directly next to the bus and train station. However...

It was a tranquil, calm and beautiful place to arrive after a long journey from St Malo. We were met by the wonderful Antoine who was welcoming, kind, helpful and charming. The room surpassed expectations. It was spacious, clean with a very large bed (double). The swimming pool was perfect size and temperature. We extended our stay as we were made to feel so much at home. I couldn’t recommend the place...

I´ve been at Parc Victoria, last June 11th, and my stay was for 4 days. I have to say that everything was wonderfull. There is nothing could be better. Since the room, the breakfeast, the kindly people from reception area, the amazing garden with the birds singing to honor the nice flowers . The restaurante, also was really good!! I really will be back.

This was our second stay here and we will be back. Exceptional location and exceptional service . Very convenient with parking (valet service) in Jean Saint de Luz. . The top floor room with balcony was decent in size ( 30 m2) and perfectly calm. Special thanks to the smiling and efficient staff who would immediately help and find solutions.

Less than 4 star and could up game to become 4 * Nice hotel but missed on a lot of fronts for a 4 star hotel. No coffee or tea kettle in room. No cups no plates. Lacking toilet paper and given used small rolls from other rooms....weird. no refrigerator. View was into a stucco wall despite being l ocated at the beach. Nice building, clean rooms. Wonderful location. Most support staff not super helpful...

Always so pleasant to spend a moment in this hotel: owners and personnel with the smallest care, copious breakfast in a garden which exudes serenity, beach at 40m and all the pretty shops of Saint Jean de Luz at the foot of the hotel. We will definitely be back.

This hotel was a gem of a place just a few min from the center of the old town and ten min from the beach. There are entrances on both sides of the building. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, nice old building (the floors do squeak) with a beautiful staircase and a gorgeous lounging space in the lobby, and a simple yet delicious breakfast buffet (Make sure you get the mini pain au chocolat...

The Grand Hotel de la Poste was made famous when the Marquis de Lafayette stayed there on his way to America (1824). Welcome at the top, thank you to all the staff for your attentions and your welcome. We were very well received, the staff took great care of us. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom too. Bathroom, bedrooms, hallways and reception are very clean. The view is sublime. The quality to price ratio is excellent. Recommended hotel, you will not be disappointed.

The best part of this hotel is that part of it overlooks the beach. Our room had a balcony but most don't. Parking is available but spaces are not guaranteed. It's possible to pay for one of two spaces that are reserved. The walls and ceilings of the room are thin. It says in the rule sheet that noise is not tolerated but kids cry and tv's go on. No air con .It must be hot in the summer! Lovely staff

As not many hotels offer one night bookings we booked this hotel. Good location and tight parking on site. We had to inch our SuV down very Slowly and my wife needed to direct me centimetres by centimetre up the ramp while locals were watching us morning entertainment. A good place to stay for 1 night. We arrived after 22:00 and easily opened our room with a code which they sent via sms. Dog-friendly hotel. Parking is secure ( attention close at 23:00). Simple breakfast. Clean, cheap, what do you need for 1 night after long road?

Over all nothing much to say, I’m extremely satisfied with the service provided. Staff extremely friendly and spotless clean! The stay in the relatively new hotel was pleasant. In the hot summer, the air conditioning worked well. The free parking lot is very positive, but the journey is complicated. From there it takes about 10 minutes to drive to the city centre.

No need for a car at all, we took buses to Bilbao, San Sebastián Spain. Little choice at the hotel breakfast (wish there were fresh fruit), but staff prepared scrambled or sunny side up eggs upon demand. Overall I will highly recommend this hotel.

The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us.

Stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel for 2 nights. The location is fantastic as you have the beach to the right and restaurants on your doorstep. It was comfortable, clean and was perfect for my stay in Saint Jean de Luz. There are steps to the reception but I’m sure you could get help with your luggage if asked. There is a lift thereafter to the 2 upper floors. I’d definitely recommend this hotel...

Located in a pedestrian street a few meters from the ocean and the magnificent Saint Jean Baptiste church, the port, the covered markets. In the center of the old town but in a quiet area overlooking a small square all lit up with fairy Christmas decorations. Very very welcome. Perfect room, clean comfort. Saint Jean de Luz is a hidden gem in the French Basque country, and Les Almadies is a jewel! Hosts Bruno, Denise (and son Julien!) are so welcoming and helpful, it felt like we were staying with family. The location of Les Almadies is perfect for walking around the town, to the market, to the beach, and is within walking distance from the bus/train station, which allows for easy access to day trips...
