Hotel Le Croiseur Intra Muros

What a delightful find. I stayed for four nights in this hotel. The staff were wonderful. My room was very comfortable and quiet. Perfect location for exploring the Saint-Malo area.
It's about a 20 minute walk from the train station.

Sweet little place, clean, great staff. I was on 4th floor and climbed the stairs alot. There is an elevator but only room for 1 small-medium sized person. Same for the shower. Comfy/firm bed, and cannot beat the location. Note- no electrical outlet in bathroom or by any mirror such as for a flat iron.

Just stayed 5 nights here. Decent hotel with perfect location. Room number 10 on the 4th floor with view on the square before hotel. Adequate size for 2 stars, a couple of spots on the carpet, but nothing major in terms of cleanliness. These decorative pillows I absolutely hate though, you don't need them and they take a lot of space.

Soundproofness was a minor issue. With the bathroom door open you can easily hear every conversation in the room number 9, due to the air-shafts, but with the door closed it was fine.

Elevator is extremely tiny, as it was obviously difficult to fit into the old building. It could take me and 1 piece of luggage, not more. Bigger folks probably won't even fit in (see photo).

Breakfast is your average hotel sucré selection, which is of course far from being a balanced diet and I never take it. There is a carrefour supermarket close by, where you can buy what you need.

Would love to have a kettle in the room, even in 2-star hotels it's now more and more common thing.

Can't comment on staff as my verbal interaction with them was limited to 'bonjour' and 'bonne journée'.

In all I rate my stay somewhere in the middle of my 20 something visits to Saint-Malo.

PS: I have a vague memory, that I already stayed in this hotel 7 or 8 years ago, but I won't bet on it.

Over all a good stay. As small hotel service was good, front desk ladys were very helpful and breakfast was good too.

Great place to stay in St Malo. Located close to tourist attractions and Restaurants. Friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of St. Malo. The owner's Gerome and his wife were welcoming, pleasant and couldn't do enough to help. Would definitely visit again.

They were so lovely here. They even fixed our baby’s stroller!

Absolutely brilliant, parking underneath hotel, perfect room, amazingly helpful staff who were totally bilingual. We have a house in the south of France. St Marlo was the perfect place to stay the night before catching ferry.

Great place to stay inside the walled city of St Malo. Close to some excellent restaurants and not too far from the ferry. The room was small but very pleasant, the service was friendly and the breakfast superior.
