I went for the thalasso treatments but we have friends who come just for the hotel. A beautiful place with friendly and professional staff. I loved the way they fussed over my Westie. Oh, and the spa is fabulous.
Beautiful hotel, sophisticated furnished rooms, elegant surroundings. Room with a sea view well worth it and the spa services were devine!
Le Grand Hotel de Thermes is an outstanding palace in term of quality of thalasso treatments and accommodation services. A refined cuisine run with inspired chefs and very qualified staff. We highly recommend it to all who are looking for health treatments or peaceful leisure.

Wonderful hotel in Saint Malo with nice spa zone, swimming pool and hammam. Very friendly staff !
Very good. The room is very big and comfortable. It has a balcony. You can also watch the sea during breakfast. The location is also very close to various places. Highly recommended
Really nice place to visit Saint -Malo and have relax time with family.
The check in was excellent. The service, too, was great throughout our visit. Everything about the hotel was first class. Thank you!
Superb modern hotel on the seafront
View from our balcony was incredible. Breakfast on the balcony and it always came bang on time. We knew the restaurant was good but was even better than expected. Staff were super friendly and helpful too. Less than 5 minutes from room to swimming and a beautiful walk along the beach to the old town. We will return!

The hotel has a good location in the old part of town, within the city walls, and close to the beginning of the rampart walk around the old town. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. We had a room facing the castle, but could still see the ocean.
We could drive to the hotel when we arrived, but beware there are times when getting to the hotel by car can be a bit more challenging since...
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Room was comfortably appointed, view was spectacular. All of the common space was equally lovely…breakfast room, bar, reception. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore the very charming St Malo.
The hotel has a fantastic location and lots of historic charm, which really adds to the experience. Our first room unfortunately had a musty smell, but the staff were very helpful and quickly moved us to a much better room. Due to the location it can be a little noisy at times, but overall the team were welcoming and accommodating. A good choice if you want to stay somewhere central with character
Excellent location. We paid for parking through the hotel website and it was in an underground car park nearby, easy to use and a 5 minute walk - be aware you cannot drive to the door of the hotel, no problem for us but may be an issue if you have mobility problems. Lovely view of the city and sea from room. Decor in our room was nice and being able to open the window was lovely, but my daughter’s...
Very nice staff and beautiful historical hotel.
The air conditioning did not work in our room but they immediately gave us a fan which was enough for us!
The location was excellent and they were able to get us an early check in during a busy weekend.
We would stay here again.
The listing for this website showed free parking on site. This isn't true. There is plenty of parking for those visiting St. Malo, but the only free parking is over night, 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM, and it is a short walk from the hotel. During the day, all paring has a charge.
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very nice and the views ocean view from the upper floors are excellent.

Room was cold, reception unable to help. The hot food for the evening was self service microwave.
Breakfast was good. Room comfortable and good parking
Caring staff.
Bit difficult to find the hotel at first.
On arrival we were allocated a room on the second floor.
A lady that was servicing the rooms noticed that we had mobility difficulties, having prepared a room on the ground floor, she went to reception and organised the the re-allocation to us.
The room was clean and comfortable.

A great one night stay before catching the ferry to the U.K. the next day. The hotel is in a very quiet setting, a short walk to a bus stop which takes you to the centre of St Malo. Rooms are spacious and breakfast was plentiful. Staff also friendly and helpful, would recommend and would stay again.
We stayed at Hôtel Oré for one night for our return trip to the UK via an early morning ferry. The hotel was situated on the outskirts of St. Malo in a quiet area and had plenty of parking.
It was a shame we couldn't stay longer to make the most of the hotel which looked really lovely. We had a quad room with one double and two single beds. The decor was tasteful, the room clean and spacious. The...
Extraordinary service, tasty breakfast and great rooms. Be aware, that the co-working space is open after the breakfast slot.

The location is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were very disappointed that the lift proving wheelchair access to the bar was out of order, and had been for a long time. The room upgrade was welcome but did mean that space was limited.
We booked this hotel via their partner Brittany Ferries seamlessly. Prior to the visit I double checked a few details such as parking and asked for help to get the perfect fine dining for the Bastille Day evening. The staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful and in particular we must say a big thank you to Jennifer in reception. The whole hotel is stylish not boutique or corporate...
We spent two nights here as a post-river cruise extension. The locaiton was great! It was about a 5 min. walk to the walled city, which is where lots of restaurants are located. Our room was on the back side, with a view of the inner harbor. The room is small, but that is typical for European hotels. We had a separate room for breakfast for our group. While the selections were as varied as at some...
For an expensive hotel, it leaves a lot to be desired. There was hardly any closet, so a rolling rack was brought in. The phone was inside the same cabinet as the fridge! A large window with a see-through curtain was in the bathroom and faced the living room area. The shower had such a slick floor that we had to lay down towels so we would not fall. Why was a rubber mat not provided? We did enjoy...
A wonderful stay! Everything about this hotel was fantastic: the incredible ocean views from the Evasion Room, comfortable beds, excellent shower, friendly staff, the little extra touches such as the welcome treats, and beautiful, clean, updated and thoughtful room design. Perfect location, just across from the water and only 5 minutes to the old town. One of our favourite stays in a long time.
I loved the location of the hotel and the staff was nice and friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was nice. Unfortunately, I was not at all impressed with the room set up. I found the bed uncomfortable. There was no desk to put things on, or chest of drawers for clothing (a few open shelves that were awkward to put things on), and no nightstand next to the bed (either side) to put...

Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Walkable to rhe beach - though a long walk for some. Pictires of the view from our room firevtly above rhe lobby. Magical bus driver navigated the narrow one way street in front of the hotel.
Great hotel, would highly recommend this place. Great breakfast, rooms were very clean and the location in excellent.
Easy to find the hotel and great to find a hotel with a car park in St Malo. It is close to the train station, which means plenty of food options close by. However it is only a 20-30 minute walk to the citadel, with all its bars and restaurants. Just be aware that the Prefect has decreed that alcohol cannot be sold after 10pm, although the drunks continue drinking in the street after this time
Big clean rooms with lots of natural light.
Awesome breakfast selection.
Helpful staff.
Very close to the train station.
Very comfortable hotel room was amazing and staff very friendly.
Clean simple efficient nice staff. All you need for a quick business trip. Next to the train station.
Not the best if you are visiting the old town.

The hotel is beautiful, in a beautiful location. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean. The view from the room is incredible. Beach, sea, sunset... wonderful. The breakfast was very tasty, the staff is extremely friendly. A big bonus was the swimming pool. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Residence Reine Marine was a fantastic place to stay, especially for families.
It is great location, short distance to a local grocer, right by the beach, clean, spacious and comfy.
A great experience by the sea in a very well equipped residence with amenities close by.
Well furnished flat above the sandy beach with amazing views, quiet area not far from the town center. Easy access to the beach. Safe carpark. Visible staff.
The room is clean and good, but don’t expect the breakfast too much. 12 dollars per person, they even don’t serve eggs 🤣🤣🤣
Clean and tidy, lovely shower, facilities ie. pool/steam room fabulous. Staff were very friendly and even suffered my attempts at the french language with good grace, allowing me to practice ! Location is superb, just on the beach. Ideally situated for trips along the coast. Would recommend highly.

This is a friendly and perfectly located hotel in the centre of the old walled town. The staff could not be more helpful. My room was recently decorated in a cool modern style. Comfortable bed. Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food. Fairly basic in terms of accommodation and facilities but clean and tidy and gave us everything we wanted.
Comfy small hotel. Helpful staff. Brilliant breakfast. Very clean.

Near the train station and a walk away from the Walls of St Malo. Would stay again.
Close to the station, it's a 20 minutes walk to the city center (which is some kind of a tourist trap, at least in August). There are a good restaurants nearby. Maybe not too romantic, but very reasonable

Very modern and simple room in the rear block of this hotel. That meant no street noises and no light pollution. Big walk in shower, decent sized bed with small table and good sized opening window. Hôtel Anne de Bretagne
St. Malo, 10/11 Rue Saint Thomas 🧭 Map
Excellent stay. Our questions were answered before we arrived (about children & pool times.) We were allowed into our room early, and were given an upgrade. The room was super - dual aspect, quiet & comfortable. The pool was small, but you book your own hour, and it has massage jets, swim jets, mood lighting & music, so was rather lovely. Very happy customers!
The Anne de Bretagne Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Saint-Malo's old town. It was recently renovated, and each modernly designed room features Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with Chromecast. The staff was very helpful, and the bedding was comfortable. We had a great time there. A small addition that could be made: a mini fridge in the room.
The hotel is located in the heart of Saint-Malo. We didn’t need to use a car during our stay. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are very nice.
This hotel ticks most of the boxes! Good value for money, very friendly and professional staff, style/decor to our liking, the pool with a personal time slot is a real plus, quiet, comfortable, we loved everything... we would just add a mini bar but otherwise, great!
Overall, everything is perfect. The only thing missing is a private parking lot for the hotel. Between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m., it's almost impossible to get into the city center, so parking is difficult.
The hotel is very well located in the old quarter within the walls, close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool. The fact that it's pet-friendly was a decisive factor in our decision to spend these few days in Saint-Malo. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. We skipped the 19E breakfast and went to a nearby patisserie for 1/3 the price. WiFi not very good but otherwise enjoyed our stay.
Excellent stay!
Location was ideal for parking outside the city gate and walking in, especially if you have a lot of luggage. Room was great with amazing views of the church. Staff was super friendly as well. We did not eat or use the bar but it looking nice. Highly recommend!

Perfectly set at the coastline with a nice ambience. Breakfast is a little crowded and the lovely, kind staff cannot keep up with the demand. The beds are too short for me at 186 cm. No fitness, but a small sauna. Parking is a little difficult, but P+R Feval is cheap and there's a bus running which is free for 24h and costs just 2 € after that which you can pay with card in the busses.
Unfortunately, this was only an overnight stop again, en route to our early ferry departure but, as always, Mercure Front de Mer provided an excellent standard. We had the surprise of an upgrade to a room with a full sea view which was very much appreciated - thank you Front de Mer! All staff we spoke with were very helpful. They always represent the hotel very well indeed. We'll be back again!
One night stay over. On the sea front. Easy to get to from old town and ferry terminal. 25 minute walk. Very helpful staff. Nice room. Great breakfast.
Our room was very nice, with a window facing the sea. The lobby is very comfortable and they have nice outdoor seating. The room was clean and enjoyable. All of their staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a very nice stay and would stay here again.
Amazing. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff always so nice. Best part was definitely the beach side view. Spent my mornings having a quick smoke while enjoying looking out to the beach. It was very relaxing. Parking is difficult as only street parking is available, but so worth coming nevertheless. Will definitely be coming back :)

Hotel room was plush with cool cotton sheets, nice bathroom and beautiful garden, just what we needed after our camping trip. Staff were really friendly & helpful. Made us feel most welcome & comfortable. Breakfast was a massive selection of good quality nosh!
I stayed here for two nights while visiting Saint Malo. The room is straight from the 80’s, floor boards make noise every time someone walks by your room. They give you a nice robe and slippers. Room has a super tiny TV and a coffee maker. Only one or two English language channels on TV. Front desk staff was great and spoke good English, can’t say the same about the restaurant staff where only few...
Our room number 2 was outdated and the decor was appalling. We were thankful we didn't need tge bed settee as it looked dirty and old. The TV cable was stretched vertically up the wall and there were obvious holes with filler where something had been moved. We booked this hotel as we wanted the last night of our holiday to be special. It wasn't.
We enjoyed our stay and, depending on price, would consider staying on a return trip to Saint Malo. But across the board, the property felt more like a three star than a four star hotel. Which is fine, depending on whether you are paying four or three star prices. We paid closer to four star... The staff was uneven, with some super helpful and attentive and others who were not looking for solutions...
It was a very good time spent there. Staff are very welcoming people and focused on our needs.
Spa,hamam and the swimming pool were very good and clean.
The room wasn’t as expected, too small, poorly ventilated, toilets did not smell good at all.I do not remmend the standards rooms
