Our room was lovely, bed really comfortable and the place spotless, The breakfast was also really good, lots of choice, the only slight niggle is that the hot food could have been hotter, and needed warm plates, as soon as you had got it and got back to the table it was luke warm or cold

We would like to say a special thank you to the reception ladies who kindly helped us print off forms needed for our return home also sorted covid tests, it was a little stressful for us and we applaud you on your patience and understanding

It was a great experience for us! We had such a lovely time in this hotel. we really love the morning sea view from our room and the pool and mountain view from our very own🥰🤩 breakfast table

Lovely hotel, not too big, quiet, modern and comfy rooms and an excellent and friendly service. Dinner in the place was a surprise, excellent cooking. We would certainly come back!

Restaurants in the vicinity are from very good and authentic til tourism style. Having a car is recommended to see Chania, beaches and other places

All over: if you search for a good and cozy hotel, we’ll maintained, good food and on a nice spot, for a good price, you are perfectly right

Food was fantastic and they had a variety of different foods giving us a taste of the Greek cuisine and foods available for all pallets, there is something for everyone! We will definitely be returning, as someone who has stayed in a fair amount of hotels this is by far one the best experiences

Right next to the beach and such an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. Cleanliness is a very important thing for me and they met and exceeded all my expectations, thoroughly cleaning everyday

Staff is beyond friendly and extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and eager to visit again

There are also options like pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order, which is a nice touch, but overall, the quality could be better

Additionally, the safe in my room wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best

They offer a full English breakfast with the usual bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and sausages

We stayed at The Blue Elephant for two weeks at the end of June and we had the most glorious time. The hotel has the most amazing views over Almyrida, especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff are great and friendly

Our hotel room was very spacious with a private pool overlooking the beautiful Creatian sea. The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful

Our room was perfect and we had the most amazing views! The hotel is clean, room was always cleaned daily and the food in the restaurant was so tasty. There is plenty of parking if you choose to hire a car

The walk to Almyrida where there are restaurants by the sea front and shops is only a couple of minutes but is a very steep hill up and down. We loved our stay overall and hopefully will see you again

The hotel is not too busy, with plenty of sun beds available. The bottles of water are replenished daily for the room, and the staff at the pool bar always made sure we could have water by the pool

Simply amazing! We stayed there for 2 weeks last September and we enjoyed it very very much. They gave us a room upgrade so we had a private pool to ourselves and a beautiful view over the ocean

Katerina is a great host who goes above and beyond from little touches like a house phone with recommended restaurants on speed dial to the daily bakery driver visiting the villa with fresh bread and Greek delicacies

We stayed during the shoulder season right before most places opened up for summer, so the town was quiet and not busy. SK Place was one of few resorts on the island open and we were so happy with our choice

We had a truly magnificent stay. The villa was absolutely stunning with a well thought-out design and plenty of space, inside and out, for relaxing and entertaining

We stayed at Villa Ammos which was just perfect. The sunsets are fantastic and it is a 3 minute walk to the small town. We have visited twice and we will be back.

The food was varied and suited all tastes, on a buffet style which for me was very dangerous and led to eating way to much, thankfully Iva the animator helps you to wear off the extra calories you are bound to take on with the great food and rink available; the water aerobics are definitely great fun and an easy way to get to know others

Kalyves is not a place overflowing with tourists, but rather a location recommended for quiet and peaceful relaxation. Within half an hour by car, you can reach many wonderful sights

I would especially highlight the evening programs starting at 8:30 PM, as well as the children’s entertainment throughout the day. The rooms are large and clean, and the food is delicious and plentiful

We got a free upgrade to a superior sea view room, discounts on spa treatments (which though I didn’t get I was told weee heavenly!), all you can drink cocktails and premium alcohol and more

You can’t post a review of the Kalyves beach without mentioning Momo, the guest relations guy! He is a great asset and really helps you to settle in to your holiday from day one

We’ve got a lot of surprises and gifts because of our wedding. The best one was that they booked for us two nights in other 5 stars hotel nearby with special romantic dinner

Room was quite large with a separate bedroom for 2 kids. Reasonable size of balcony with a seaview. Everyday cleaning was working well. Hotel situates on the beach, peaceful area

The most amazing resort ever! So many pools all indoors and outdoors ! All clean! Sunbeds along beach and bars are always welcoming! The rooms are very modern and clean! The staff is so friendly! You will find new food items in buffet every day ! Never gets repetitive and it’s very very tasty! We travel 7-10 times a year, and have been all over world ! This place is something magical

We had an incredible stay at this family-friendly, all-inclusive resort in Chania, Crete! The kids enjoyed endless activities, from the kids’ club to exciting water slides

Four of us (2 adults and 2 children 8 and 13) spent 5 nights at Kiani Beach Resort. It was brilliant - even better than we expected

Or you can use the numerous pools including a great indoor pool which is next to a very decent gym. And there’s a paddle court and tennis court too as well as group activities like beach volleyball

So if you want to be active you can or you can just completely relax in a lovely setting. We’ll be back next year! thank you for such a brilliant holiday

Lunch was ok there was always pasta, meat, potatoes, salad and bread. The dinner choice is the same as the lunch however the desserts were ok. The rooms were fine and had everything which was needed in them

My room was cleaned every day and I was given new towels every two days. The staff at the hotel are very nice and it was explained to us that new management have recently just taken over and they are making changes

You are able to rent out cars and explore the area more. The breakfast was the same every day however there was a good choice - toast, cereal, egg, bacon, beans and pastries

Pool and pool area was great! Almost always a sum chair available and the pool itself worked great for all ages, toddlers, young adults and adults. Service was great! Lots of personnel who were always kind and helpful

I stayed here for one week at the end of September, the weather was amazing a lot hotter than what I thought it would be. We stayed all inclusive which was great

Two rickety night stands, one desk that almost fell over by itself, a fridge which made loud noises around the clock, three of the hardest beds I've ever slept in, a 14 inch fat TV with two working channels and a working air conditioner

However almost every time we eat there, the service (although friendly) is appallingly slow. Last night when we arrived, the only guests seated in the restaurant, it took over 30 minutes to put in our drink order

Food here is the best in the area! Good home grown ingredients and superb hospitality. The panna cotta with homemade jam and saffron was to die for!

The even bigger issue was paying; after asking for the bill three times, we received the check one hour later (and by then, there was only one other table left)

The small menu is good, the chef is amazing but they really really need to sort of the service issues

Top notch, modern, spacious villa with a great outdoor space and scenic views from the balconies. Just a 10 minute walk to Kalyves beech. Minor point, it's located on a main road so the traffic can be a little noisy

Really nice place, enough space for 4 people and the house ist really good equipped! Only a short 10 minutes walk to the beach and some good restaurants. Nice view and very clean. I would book it again!

The villa’s position is very good for visiting any place on western Crete, but also make sure you do not miss the beach just 700 meters down a dirt-road from Villa Yianna!

An excellent place! Lovely garden around the pool, smartly furnished and very well-equipped interior. The landlords are really helpful

The owner Maria met us at the property and she had even prepared us some food on a late arrival which was most welcome! Also her husband Georgos helped us with the luggage which was very helpful.

We paid for breakfast included and it includes SO much food! (The yogurt/honey is amazing!) The apartment is perfect, clean, everything we need - property includes a pool and a pool-side cafe/bar

Room service was always on time and very tidy. Bar at the pool were always accommodating and offer lots for guests. Great location, and great connections with locals for taxis and excursions

Prices are so reasonable compared to home (the US). Super close to the beach and all the restaurants/taverns there as well
