Hotels with sauna in Almirida

Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do

The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty

Im not sure there are the right words to describe, how incredible and amazing this hotel is. From minute one it felt comfortable and relaxing, and we were looked after by the amazing staff

This was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed

Our room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfy beds & pillows and as we were in an end room (316) we had the most fabulous view of the mountains, pool and sea! Fresh bottled water daily as well which was a bonus! I will say that the shower was wonderful, the only little niggle being I couldn’t reach the high bathroom window to open it to let the steam out

A selection of cooked items and made to order eggs, an array of fruit, deli meats & cheeses, breads, pastries, sweet treats, Greek yogurt, honey & nuts and plenty of tea, coffee and fruit juices which we enjoyed around the pool

Right next to the beach and such an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. Cleanliness is a very important thing for me and they met and exceeded all my expectations, thoroughly cleaning everyday

Staff is beyond friendly and extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and eager to visit again

There are also options like pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order, which is a nice touch, but overall, the quality could be better

Additionally, the safe in my room wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best

They offer a full English breakfast with the usual bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and sausages

Food was fantastic and they had a variety of different foods giving us a taste of the Greek cuisine and foods available for all pallets, there is something for everyone! We will definitely be returning, as someone who has stayed in a fair amount of hotels this is by far one the best experiences

We stayed at The Blue Elephant for two weeks at the end of June and we had the most glorious time. The hotel has the most amazing views over Almyrida, especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff are great and friendly

Our hotel room was very spacious with a private pool overlooking the beautiful Creatian sea. The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful

Our room was perfect and we had the most amazing views! The hotel is clean, room was always cleaned daily and the food in the restaurant was so tasty. There is plenty of parking if you choose to hire a car

The walk to Almyrida where there are restaurants by the sea front and shops is only a couple of minutes but is a very steep hill up and down. We loved our stay overall and hopefully will see you again

The hotel is not too busy, with plenty of sun beds available. The bottles of water are replenished daily for the room, and the staff at the pool bar always made sure we could have water by the pool

Simply amazing! We stayed there for 2 weeks last September and we enjoyed it very very much. They gave us a room upgrade so we had a private pool to ourselves and a beautiful view over the ocean

The owners have done a wonderful job creating three superbly appointed villas (we had a look round the other two) that have breathtaking westerly views and are located within a really short stroll from Almyrida which offers warm clear/clean sea, sandy beaches and a plenty of restaurants , tavernas etc

The villa configuration worked really well for our family (My wife and I, plus three kids in early 20’s), but would also work well for other combinations as all three bedrooms are generously sized with their own bathrooms etc

Wonderful villa, superbly appointed, beautiful pool with attentive owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is no downside to this villa. Gentle downhill stroll to a variety of lovely restaurants and shops.

Her team of staff (who came into the villa almost every day) were charming and we felt really pampered. We fully intend to return, hopefully very soon!

We had an amazing time the villa is so luxurious. We spent most of the week round the fabulous pool relaxing. Katerina and the team are amazing

This villa has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. We have enjoyed many villas but what sets this one apart is the views. Above and beyond Katerina is a phone call away, nothing is too much trouble

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with a great view of the sea from the balcony

The staff here are extremely courteous and the hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. I have been left with a very good impression of this hotel and certainly would like to return at some point

Later, I relaxed on one of their many lovely sofas to phone home for necessary news. A little more time to relax on the sunbeds and I was ready to leave, a very contented woman

I chose the outdoor dining area overlooking a river with ducks that runs into the sea I am a pescetarian, but mainly vegetarian. The food was HEAVENLY and the variety amazing

Also thanks to the staff as asked to organise some flowers etc for my wife for our anniversary and really lovely present for a reasonable price on very short notice as well

The staff made sure everything was perfect, from the friendly check-in to helpful local recommendations. The buffet had a great variety of tasteful choices

Rooms are clean and on top of that they are cleaned every day, new towels, fresh floor. Absolutely recomended, this was our favourite when compare to similar price Mallorca or Sardinia resorts that we have visited before

If one wants beach that is also available, sandy ***** is just 500m away to the side if necessary. Staff is really polite and helpful, buffet all inclusive food is not boring and selection can satisfy most i am sure

We had a great family vacation there. The rooms were clean, and there was a wide variety of food and activities. Great location and value for money and we will definitely return!!

Good holiday but lots to improve The hotel is good. They claim to be five star but in my opinion unfortunately it's three or three and a half. They are not aiming at high quality - they have potential for so much more

Ok: food (lacking flavor a bit but otherwise ok), cleaning (that varied a lot - one day it was excellent, the next they just mopped in middle of the floor and took away our beach towels without replacing them)

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything you need yet peaceful and relaxing. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay

Half board option could be used for lunch in pool bar or at night on the beautiful rooftop restaurant with gorgeous views to sea. Off menu with huge portions!! Appetiser and salad plus main meal and free desserts

All cooked fresh to order in open kitchen- just amazing!! We used ours for lunch one day and went out for dinner but rooftop restaurant at hotel can’t be beaten! But the staff make this the friendliest hotel

The rooftop restaurant makes this hotel unique as you order your food off a menu. Your half board can be used at lunch or for evening meal. This makes such a difference and gives much more choice

Breakfast is so relaxing, sitting out on the patio area or inside the cool air conditioned Breakfast room. Beautiful pool with loungers. Our room opened directly onto the quiet pool area

We went there for dinner and got in love for the place and service. They offer a beautiful type of tent at the beach and the waitress are super attentive, friendly and efficient

We ate at their restaurant by the beach. They have cozy private tables which creates a romantic vibe. The food was delicious. They can use fairy lights at the tables at night instead of white ones!

We were a group of 5 people (4 adults ,1 child ) and the hotel managed to find two rooms next to each other! We really appreciate that !The rooms are clean and functional! The complex of the hotel is beautiful and very well maintained! We visited the facility at the beginning of autumn. The temperatures are very pleasant and the water is warm. The facility is very nicely designed and clean. The staff impresses with their friendliness

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in August and enjoyed it very much. In advance we had asked whether it would be possible to get a room on an upper floor and there was then a room on the 3rd floor

When we arrived we were glad to see a Sea view room,spacious and a nice bathroom. The food was very good and very varied. All the staff, from housekeeping on, were very friendly and attentive

Lunch was ok there was always pasta, meat, potatoes, salad and bread. The dinner choice is the same as the lunch however the desserts were ok. The rooms were fine and had everything which was needed in them

My room was cleaned every day and I was given new towels every two days. The staff at the hotel are very nice and it was explained to us that new management have recently just taken over and they are making changes

You are able to rent out cars and explore the area more. The breakfast was the same every day however there was a good choice - toast, cereal, egg, bacon, beans and pastries

Pool and pool area was great! Almost always a sum chair available and the pool itself worked great for all ages, toddlers, young adults and adults. Service was great! Lots of personnel who were always kind and helpful

I stayed here for one week at the end of September, the weather was amazing a lot hotter than what I thought it would be. We stayed all inclusive which was great

Two rickety night stands, one desk that almost fell over by itself, a fridge which made loud noises around the clock, three of the hardest beds I've ever slept in, a 14 inch fat TV with two working channels and a working air conditioner

It's a lovely place to stay near beach but not a lot of entertainment at night quiet place but bit pricey bus to chains right next to hotel beutiful place see 5 minute walk away too

Top notch, modern, spacious villa with a great outdoor space and scenic views from the balconies. Just a 10 minute walk to Kalyves beech. Minor point, it's located on a main road so the traffic can be a little noisy

Really nice place, enough space for 4 people and the house ist really good equipped! Only a short 10 minutes walk to the beach and some good restaurants. Nice view and very clean. I would book it again!

The villa’s position is very good for visiting any place on western Crete, but also make sure you do not miss the beach just 700 meters down a dirt-road from Villa Yianna!

An excellent place! Lovely garden around the pool, smartly furnished and very well-equipped interior. The landlords are really helpful

The owner Maria met us at the property and she had even prepared us some food on a late arrival which was most welcome! Also her husband Georgos helped us with the luggage which was very helpful.

A first class hotel with excellent customer service. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and a view to the sea. The rocky beach opposite turns into a lovely sandy one with peaceful swimming
