Four of us (2 adults and 2 children 8 and 13) spent 5 nights at Kiani Beach Resort. It was brilliant - even better than we expected. Our room was fabulous- very spacious, great bathroom and the beds were large and very comfortable. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer. We had zero issues throughout our stay so we didn’t need their help but everyone was so welcoming and sweet with our children. The food and drinks were superb - something for everyone and plentiful even when we made it late for breakfast or dinner. The setting and the facilities are excellent. The hotel is right by the sea which is perfectly safe for bigger kids - young ones you would need to watch out for as it gets deep fairly quickly. Or you can use the numerous pools including a great indoor pool which is next to a very decent gym. And there’s a paddle court and tennis court too as well as group activities like beach volleyball. So if you want to be active you can or you can just completely relax in a lovely setting. We’ll be back next year! thank you for such a brilliant holiday.

The most amazing resort ever! So many pools all indoors and outdoors ! All clean! Sunbeds along beach and bars are always welcoming!

You will find new food items in buffet every day ! Never gets repetitive and it’s very very tasty! We travel 7-10 times a year, and have been all over world ! This place is something magical .. and have sea, pools and a river all in same vicinity!

My experience at Kiani Beach Resort was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the Cretan Sea right from the resort.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The resort amenities, especially the pool areas and the beach access, were pristine and ideal for relaxation. We also enjoyed the variety of activities available, from the fitness center to the kids' entertainment.
I must give a special thanks to June, who made our experience truly memorable. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail added a personal touch to our stay. She was always ready to assist with any request and made sure we felt at home.
Overall, I highly recommend Kiani Beach Resort for anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in Crete. We can't wait to return

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Kiani Beach Resort with our two small children (3 years old). The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is divided into three sections. The first one is the oldest, right by the sea, with a pool, while the second is newer and features a fantastic children’s pool with slides. The third section is the newest, and we were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a room with a private pool there. The room was stunning, modern, and very comfortable, and having our own pool was simply incredible.
The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this resort, especially the rooms with private pools—they're the newest and really add something special to the experience. The beach is also excellent for families, with soft sand and a gentle, child-friendly slope into the water. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back!

My family and I recently stayed at Kiani Beach Resort, and we loved it. If you're looking for a place that's perfect for kids, this resort is a top pick.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Their kindness made our stay even better.
The resort is designed for families. There are lots of fun things for kids to do, like the children's pool and playgrounds. Our kids had a fantastic time, and we loved seeing them so happy.
The food was good, with plenty of choices. It might not be fancy gourmet food, but everyone can find something they like. The buffet had different dishes every day, which was great for our picky eaters.

Before anything else: this place IS NOT a five stars hotel!
I’m on my last full day - 7 nights stay - and want to leave a fresh and mindful comment about this place, so that people know this place is terrible in terms of quality per price.
- cleanliness is terrible. When we entered the room the floor was wet. When it dried it was full of dust. Asked to sweep it and the maids showed up with a broom. Honestly, they didn’t know how to use it and I ended up sweeping the room myself in front of them;
- the beach bar, near the all inclusive snacks smelt like vomit 3 out of the 7 days I was here;
- the afternoon snacks available are the worst I ever got at an all inclusive hotel;
- the table markers in the restaurant during the meals are reused between people without being cleaned;
- the pool stinks to chlorine and one of the main pools is not even watched. In the beach side the girl and/or guy spend the full day sitting and chatting;
- in that same pool there isn’t a single decent shower. There is only one in the middle of the dirt from where people leave with their feet totally dirty and very often go straight to the pool;
- the meals are a rinse and repeat with medium quality, where it is clear they reuse cooked ingredients between meals;
- the hotel only gives a set of towels for the pool that is only changeable free of charge after 7 days, which is disgusting if you use have to use them for the full period;
- the pool beds are cleaned with a bucket with pool water at the end of the day;
- most of the staff is unbearably arrogant.
Just highlighting a few fresh examples I watched and experimented all week. There are more.
The few positives are :
- location. If you need a base, from here you are 1h30m close to every interesting destination;
- the lifeguard in the land side pool is super kind to children;
- superior family rooms have a decent layout and seem to have been maintained recently

Beautiful Hotel
Clean - amazing pools with freshwater.
The all inclusive food was delicious and the service impeccable.
The views were fantastic.
The drinks were tasty.
The staff were very friendly and professional at all times.
The spa was amazing with fantastic massage.
I will be back for sure it was an amazing 5 days !

We loved our room and the whole hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful!Great options for kid activities and the food was pretty good for an all inclusive hotel. Our only slightly negative remark is that there was no pool bar for water and snacks near our room

I recently stayed at Kiani Beach Resort with my family, and it was a fantastic experience. The facilities were in excellent shape, and the resort offered three restaurants with a wide variety of delicious food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our rooms were clean and well-maintained. The private beach was perfect for relaxation, and our kids had a great time with the numerous activities available. Overall, Kiani Beach Resort provided us with a memorable vacation, and I highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We just spent 5 nights at Kiani Beach Resort and had a wonderful time. The resort is right on the beach, giving us amazing ocean views and easy beach access.
The service was great, especially from Dimitri and Bijay at the bar. They were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also really nice.
The pools were nicely maintained, and the kids enjoyed them a lot. It was pretty hot.
The views of the mountains from our room were amazing. We loved our rooms with a private pool too, especially the auto-fill feature that kept the water level perfect. Big enough room for a family of five.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, even with the heat. It would be nice if there were a few more water rides for the kids. It's definitely worth a one-time visit!
