Ioanna and Maria are two wonderful, hospitable, and genuine people. Ioanna, with her contagious smile, is always ready to give you helpful advice, but she does it with a unique discretion that immediately makes you feel at home. When it was time to leave, I had tears in my eyes!

Maria, besides being beautiful, has a special gift for cooking. The breakfasts are simply incredible: everything is fresh, homemade, and of exceptional quality. The cakes, the pita, the fresh fruit, and the variety of coffee are an experience in themselves. And when you return from the beach, you’re greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked treats.

The hotel is impeccably cared for in every detail, from the choice of products to the decor, which reflects exquisite taste. It was an unforgettable vacation, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special experience.

We had an amazing experience at the Icion Eco Hotel in Alonissos. The highlight of our stay was, without a doubt, the outstanding breakfast. It was truly exceptional and the best we had on our entire trip. The variety, freshness, and quality of the food were simply unmatched.

Moreover, the hospitality and warmth of the owner made us feel right at home. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable stay. The rooms were spotless, and the hotel is well-maintained overall.

In terms of value for money, it simply cannot be beaten. Everything was perfect, and there’s absolutely nothing that could be improved.

An absolute find at great value. The whole property was spotlessly clean and the whole experience from the moment Maria welcomed us was a delight. Nothing was too much trouble and she touched base with you every day to see if there was anything further she could help you with. The rooms were excellently appointed with comfy beds and great shower. We were lucky enough to have a sea view room which was enchanting. The design your own breakfast served where you wanted and at a time you chose was an added treat which just added to the overall charm of the place. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, and all set on this amazing island.

Having just arrived at our next destination, I wanted to write this immediately. This small, personal, boutique hotel is the icing on the cake for your stay on the beautiful island of Alonnisos. From the moment we arrived (a taxi waiting at the port to transport us) and throughout the rest of our short stay, we received nothing but a warm welcome, smiles and great advice on where to go and what to do. Maria goes over and above what you'd expect from this extremely well priced accommodation. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the shower excellent and the products left for your use, just lovely.
A good choice of food for breakfast with fresh breads, fruit and yoghurt and delicious honey to name but a few.
Maria allocated us the family room overlooking the ocean. What more can you ask for.

I visited the hotel, which surprised me very nicely with the cleanliness, luxurious equipment and professional approach of the person. You can see that the owners emphasize quality and cleanliness. what everyone wants for a holiday. In only one word: Excellent. Staff and owners are amazingly polite and their interaction with the guest is genuine and heartfelt. Rooms have adequate space and the bathroom is spacious. Cleanliness is spot on. Another interesting detail is that a lot of care is taken for recycling waste and most if not all amenities are also recyclable. Breakfast is ordered the day before, with plenty of options and good sized portions. Everything served is fresh including juice and so on. Location is also great, near the port without the noise and traffic of the nearby Patitiri village. Covid measures are in place. With so many rooms options in Alonnisos, Ikion stands out for its politeness, cozyness, cleanliness and attention to detail. Easy 5/5 from a generally demanding customer.
