Dolphin Bay Family Beach Resort

Dolphin bay was an amazing stay. I was here for a week with a group, they were incredibly accommodating and super helpful. We were supposed to leave but our Ferris was delayed a day and they accommodated us getting new rooms. The rooms were very clean, the beach is really close and the pool is huge! Highly recommend!

We have just enjoyed an excellent stay at The Dolphin Bay Resort on Syros. This well formed and well priced family resort is like a Greek fishing village perched in the hillside overlooking Galissas Bay and beach. The sea is just a minutes wall from the reception of the hotel and it's blue flag for sea cleanliness proudly flutters in the breeze. The water is crystal clear with hardly a ripple. Perfect for early morning swims with the locals. Just like the sea, the pool is very clean, deep and refreshing to dive into. It is one of the best exercising pools I have experienced at a family hotel. It is a good length and width and is deep enough to dive into for 60% of the length. The pool is not just for doing laps, there are plenty of umbrellas and loungers to relax on. There is also a kids slide and a baby pool, so everyone cam be kept amused. There's a pool bar and restaurant, for snacks and drinks and the main restaurant serves evening meals and a broad offering of buffet breakfast. There were food options for all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan. The rooms and suites are varied to suit all groups and differing tastes. Some have been renovated recently, all are clean, well kept and have effective Air Conditioning and solar hot water. As they are spread over hillside, you get a decent exercise walking around. For those that don't want the challenge, there are two elevators that give the less ambitious access to the different levels. We were there in mid summer, so our activities were limited by the heat, but there is a tennis court and table tennis table on site. The resort is a 15 minute drive from the port and accessible to other beaches and island attractions. The small village in the bay is home to a few decent restaurants and bars and has a well used bus stop. We stayed for 4 nights and could have stayed for longer. There was so much to do on the island and didn't feel that we had done all that was to offer in the area.

Excellent accommodations and extremely well run. Had an absolutely wonderful time enjoying the delightful hotel pool, the outstanding beach of Galissas, and of course the beautiful island of Syros. Could not be more family and kid friendly!

Lovely stay at Dolphin Bay, Staff was so friendly and helpful, Large pool and plenty of sunbeds in June , Just across the road from one of the nicest beaches on the Island,Room was large with walk in shower, always cleaned well. Cant wait to come back.

Clean beach, fantastic view and a vibe that combines relaxation with positive energy. Sotiris, the manager of the bar and the restaurant, was really everywhere – he always went the extra mile and made sure we didn’t miss anything. Stay vibrant! At the pool bar, Nikos and Georgia took our moments off with a smile, service and an excellent mood. Keep shining! The manager and supportive, made sure that everything was running smoothly. We already booked our friend’s bachelor for September – I don’t change it for anything! Perfect for friends or couples who want a holiday with style and quality. Stay cool September is coming! Everything about my stay in Dolphin Bay Seaside Resort and Suites was perfect. The food and the restaurant are exceptionnally amazing. The room was clean and confortable. The staff is so nice, kind and sweet it felt like home. You can book with eyes closed. Will surely be back with my family!

Great resort, the name says it all. The staff can help carry luggage to your room, especially if the room is high up in the hill. They also help bring it down during check out, just call the reception.

The maintenance, gardener and cleaning crew do an amazing A+ job at keeping the resort clean.

Breakfast was great and plenty everyday. They serve fresh fruit, yogurt, omelet, fried and hard boiled eggs. Bacon, sausage, cooked and raw veggies, cheese and cold cuts. An assortment of baked goods and much more. Dinner buffet is not good and overpriced at €25 per adult, so eat outside resort instead. Some parents let their kids run wild during meals so be equipped with patience.

The rooms are nice except the dysfunctional bathtub design that allows for water to leak outside onto the floor. AC works fine but make sure to close the balcony door since there’s a sensor that’s turns off AC when door is open.

Lovely Galissas beach is next door!

Lovely place to stay for a relaxing couple of days. Pool and beach both lovely, with a number of drinking and eating options in town within walking distance.
