Shapes Luxury Suites

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are lovely and spacious and have wonderful views of the Agean sea. The bathroom is quite large too. The host is very generous, kind and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is within walking distance of amazing restaurants and iconic parts of the city. You will not be disappointed.

Nikos and his wife Hara are a wonderful couple. Nikos looked after us as if we were family.
You could not ask for a better host.
Our room was very modern and clean.
The bed was super comfortable.
Each morning we sat on our balcony overlooking the Port. As mentioned in previous reviews, each day our breakfast was delivered in a basket outside our room.
If you are visiting Syros and are looking for a perfect location and host, I highly recommend Shapes Luxury Suites.

Truly a luxury to stay at Shapes. Nikos and Hara are amazing hosts and concierges. The suite we had was large and well appointed. The bed, pillows and linens were top quality. The bathroom is very well designed. The balcony over looking the port was entertainment itself, watching ferries come and go, cruise ships dock and people bustling about. Given the location the room itself was private and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast, often finishing it off late afternoon as it was plentiful. We highly recommend the island and having Shapes Luxury Villas as your base.

We enjoyed a week in Suite 3 with a lovely balcony overlooking the harbor. Service is all important to Nikos, Hara and their staff. You could not ask for a more beautiful couple as your hosts.The rooms are luxury with comfortable bed and pillows, luxury linens, towels and bathroom products. The location is ideal for exploring Ermoupoli and the island. We are in our 70's and walked all over town. We took a taxi to the top of Ano Syros and walked back to the harbor, stopping at a taverna recommended by Nikos. He arranged a taxi for a dinner in Kini and helped us understand the bus schedule for a day in Finika. Lots of great local restaurant suggestions too. We highly recommend "Shapes" when visiting Syros. We would give them 20 stars if we could.

Clean. Very nice service. Safe. Beautiful view and convenient location.

Location was great, downtown and easy to access. Soundproofing was good too, something important, since it’s right on the road. The owner, Nikos, was really nice and friendly, eager to make our accommodation as good as possible. Breakfast came in a little basket each morning. All in all a wonderful experience, we’ll be back.

An absolute gem
Ideal location from ferry terminal and easy to find. After a long journey from the UK, this was exactly what we needed. A friendly welcome from Nicos, who then made sure we had everything we needed. The views and breakfast were amazing. The room had lots of homely touches and the toiletries sublime (esp. the honey shampoo). Nicos help the following day to make sure we saw the 'Upstairs town' was invaluable and a place we would certainly return to.

Very happy with the choice of this hotel. It is in the best location of Syros just a minute walk from the ferry and right in the heart of the city center. Everything is within walking distance. There are about 5 rooms out of which 2 have the pool. The hosts Nico and team were very friendly, helpful and caring. Gave a personalized experience and helped with everything including arranging the guide. The temperature was a bit cold, so would have been nice if the outdoor Jacuzzi had hot water. Breakfast is delivered to the room so inform the hosts prior in case of any special requests. Overall had a wonderful experience and would surely recommend this place for anyone considering it!
