Very nice bungalows dotted on the hill above beautiful beach of Mavrovouni. We spent 8 wonderful days here, staff were very friendly and gave us all information about the area. Bungalows are equipped for independent stay, has nice own yard, and surrounding is full of beautiful flowers and fruit trees. We really enjoyed it!

Cavo Grosso Bungalows is located in the center of Mavrovouni - a small village next to the Gytheio city (~3.5 km). Very calm and quiet place. Our number had an outstanding sea view. The number itself is not that huge, but cozy and comfortable with all the facilities we needed: nice beds, air conditioning, water heater fridge, terrace. The staff is extremely welcoming! Definitely recommended visiting

Pros: independent bungalows, very quiet, close to the beach(walking distance), good price. Cons: we booked a "panoramic" view which was more expensive as we wanted the view. Getting there we realised that the word panoramic to the owner's understanding meant 2 air conditions. The view was poor. in desperate need for renovation. The owner was not polite. In summary, honestly priced but poor service

Nice location, very frendly people , huge bungalows enouph for 4, but it shows the age, it is 300-400 m from the see and there is AC only in the bedroom and not in the leaving room. Overall a good place to stay.

Very friendly and accommodating owners and very reasonably priced. The bungalows are built into a sheepish hillside with lots of steps. We required wheelchair access and they provided us a bungalow with just one small step to get in and out. Wheelchair access to the breakfast terrace was out of the question, but the owners were lovely and made up a tray so we could have breakfast in the bungalow....

good situation but the room is not modern at all. Air conditioning is ok, people are nice. possibility to have good breakfast with discount at a bar 5min walks away. Very small bathroom, not easy to use with ancient furniture. Stairs to go to the room : not easy in case you have a lot of suitcases or reduced mobility.

Nice place to stay. Room was good and had kitchen facilities as well. Staff friendly and helpful. Had the opportunity to sleep there one night. Overall swift check-in and parking available as well.

The best thing about this place is its proximity to a very nice beach. Beds are ok but dont look for much comfort. For upper floor you can have a nice sunset scenery on the sea. The price was 70 euros for two people for two nights in September 2019. The reception lady is very helpful and friendly.

Well priced, clean, room has a kitchenette. Walking distance to Mavrovouni beach, cafe and a small supermarket. A short drive to Gytheio town which is a great place to go for dinner, or otherwise there are a few good tavernas a 10 min walk (4 min drive) in the heart of Mavrovouni town. Exclusive place to rest. Literally on the beach. The apartments are spacious. They were the most hospitable owners I've ever met. I highly recommend this place.

STUDIO RESBITHAS. If you want to feel the Peloponnese - that`s the place. Before you wash your eyes, before having coffee - take a swim. Want a nice soup with goat meat? - 50 km and you are at 1200 altitude height in fairy Kosmas. You want a barbecue for the whole company - the best barbecue is Mihalis`s BBQ in the Studio Resbithas - the BBQ is at your disposal. You want fresh fish - just ask Michalis...

A spacious and very well-equipped apartment with wonderful and kind hosts. Thoughtfully furnished with stunning views across the bay eastwards from the panoramic windows. Large private balcony with sunshade. A good bakery nearby too. Great recommendations for local visits around the Mani peninsula and beyond. The best accommodation of our fortnight in the Peloponnese.

A lost opportunity in a beautiful tranquil spot. The location is absolutely idylic right on an unspoilt quiet beach with no other buildings nearby just a cute chapel up on the hill. The bungalows look good from the outside and the gardens are lush and well kept. The bed was rock hard, kitchen equipment was lacking and what equipment there was is old and broken. Absolute perfect place. Some great garden and interior designer must have planned this. Our room had a private little garden - we felt like film stars. The beach is very close and also very quiet.
