Great location, peaceful hotel Peaceful and cozy hotel. Everything worked well: service was friendly and staff spoke excellent English. Rooms were clean, well air-conditioned and beds were confortable

Stayed at Margo Beach Hotel for a big family reunion trip. The location is wonderful - right on the beach with an easy drive into town. The resort is beautiful, rooms were clean and VERY spacious

The location is great if you want to be close to the little city of Gytheio but enjoy the quieter outskirts

The bar attendant George made exceptional cocktails and mocktails for the kids. The Greek bar vibes were superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we asked questions and they found the answers

It is a place I’d absolutely consider revisiting despite their breakfast which to me was way below expectations (the coffee was quite average and the pies were pre-made and not homemade which is what I’m used to from Top Mani hotels of the same rating)

The bar was open with reasonably priced drinks, and simply purchasing a drink gave us access to the pool, the toilet, a clean shower, and a beach lounge chair—a great deal! We were there early in the tourist season, which might have contributed to the exceptional service we received

Visited Thrides Beach Resort for a few hours one afternoon in early May. Despite the dreary, overcast weather that limited our beach time, the resort still offered a pleasant day out

Beautiful beaches like Mavrovouni or Valtaki, cultural sites such as the ancient theatre of Gytheio, and day trips to Mani or Monemvasia are much easier to reach with your own vehicle

For travelers who want more than just the town center, renting or bringing a car makes the difference between seeing a little and truly experiencing everything Gytheio has to offer

Between July 20th and August 20th, there’s no hotel parking available, so I sometimes had to search for up to an hour and walk a long distance back

Normally in hotels you've got a *clean my room* / * do not disturb * door hanger. We didn't want a housekeeping enter the room and we didn't expect someone to come and fold our clothes and even UNDERWEAR

Great place for a relaxing break. Rooms are spacious and clean. The beach is less than 100m away from the hotel.

Bathroom was sad, infact the whole interior was sad. The apartment was not properly cleaned either. The fluorescent light on the outside of the reception spoils the night time atmosphere

The bungalows look good from the outside and the gardens are lush and well kept. The bed was rock hard, kitchen equipment was lacking and what equipment there was is old and broken

Lots of extra special touches to make your stay perfect including breakfast served to your terrace or room, a laundry service only chargeable by the washing load not individual items and personalised recommendations for days out - both on the tourist trail and off the beaten track - and eating out in traditional Greek restaurants by the harbour in Gytheio

Efficient check in and a good breakfast delivered to room at a time agreed, consisted of bread, cake, toasties with egg, fruit, yoghurt and juice although would have preferred fresh orange juice at this standard of accommodation and some extra coffee pods

We had a garden room that had a lovely terrace in the garden complete with muslin curtaining for privacy or sunshade and a full sunshade as well. It had a side view of the sea. The staff are super friendly and helpful

Very comfortable apartment, incredibly clean, super comfy bed, a fantastic shower, soft fluffy towels, a juliet balcony with a stunning sea view, perfect kitchenette and a private terrace, not overlooked at all

Loved to sit out on the balcony perhaps some cushions for the metal chairs would be a bonus. Lovely relaxing areas in the grounds surrounded by Olive trees. We found some nice beaches in the area

They have bicycles for you to go down to the sea for free and it’s got the old Field with the stone, but it’s been it’s been redone in a very classy way. Good for families and couples

The beach food and beverage service is an A+ (the Frappe made by Dimitrius are second to none)! In the morning owners Stavroula and Lia treat you to a never ending breakfast that starts with freshly squeezed orange juice from their own tree! Fresh eggs come from their chickens and all fruits and vegetables are from the garden

I had the great fortune of finding this hidden treasure and staying for a few nights. The rooms are very nice and have the largest balcony I have ever seen in a hotel. All rooms have a spectacular view facing the water

The prestine sand and crystal clear water make the beach and swimming a pleasure, topped off by complimentary umbrella and chase lounge chair
