What a fabulous few days. Classy, clean, welcoming, a lovely helpful team, and the best breakfast we’ve had in Greece. The views from the terrace are stunning, and with just a short walk into town we found it the perfect place to stay.

Very nice bungalows dotted on the hill above beautiful beach of Mavrovouni. We spent 8 wonderful days here, staff were very friendly and gave us all information about the area. Bungalows are equipped for independent stay, has nice own yard, and surrounding is full of beautiful flowers and fruit trees. We really enjoyed it!

Cavo Grosso Bungalows is located in the center of Mavrovouni - a small village next to the Gytheio city (~3.5 km). Very calm and quiet place. Our number had an outstanding sea view. The number itself is not that huge, but cozy and comfortable with all the facilities we needed: nice beds, air conditioning, water heater fridge, terrace. The staff is extremely welcoming! Definitely recommended visiting

Pros: independent bungalows, very quiet, close to the beach(walking distance), good price. Cons: we booked a "panoramic" view which was more expensive as we wanted the view. Getting there we realised that the word panoramic to the owner's understanding meant 2 air conditions. The view was poor. in desperate need for renovation. The owner was not polite. In summary, honestly priced but poor service

Nice location, very frendly people , huge bungalows enouph for 4, but it shows the age, it is 300-400 m from the see and there is AC only in the bedroom and not in the leaving room. Overall a good place to stay.

Very friendly and accommodating owners and very reasonably priced. The bungalows are built into a sheepish hillside with lots of steps. We required wheelchair access and they provided us a bungalow with just one small step to get in and out. Wheelchair access to the breakfast terrace was out of the question, but the owners were lovely and made up a tray so we could have breakfast in the bungalow....

An amazing modern and hotel in Gytheio. It is located on a little parallel street by the sea, with great views from rooms on higher floors and the roof garden. Our room was spacious with a nice shower and a huge double bed. The hotel also has a Spa, but unfortunately did not have time to try it. TIP: Ask for higher floor, facing the sea.

The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful. Modern, clean and with extreme attention paid to sanitization and protective measures. The staff are very polite and accommodating. The level of service is exemplary. Finally, the restaurant on the 5th floor is beautiful with a world class menu. The quality and variety of dishes is astonishing.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. We got a first floor suite which had a little kitchenette, two bathrooms and a great view. Amazing and spectacular gem in the middle of the Peloponnesus. Our trip to Greece was highlighted by the surprise at the top of a hill, up a little one lane country road. We were impressed with the greeting at the front gate to the rooms cleanliness, colors, decor, layout and views to the fantastic dining to our departure. It was truly a great experience. Our tour group wished we could have stayed longer then just 2 nights!
