Excellent rooms, very clean, with an exquisite decoration that combines both the aristocratic and the traditional style. Location was perfect, 2min walk from the port and the people were very welcoming, helpful and polite. Highly recommended! Great value for its price.

Nice rooms and lovely staff in a great location. They take covid precautions seriously and were very helpful. Only 4 stars as the room without a balcony was a bit small, but I imagine this is true for most hotels in Hydra.

Very good location, in the centre of town Hydra and very close to a local port. Nice and clean rooms. Owners are nice and they gave us lot of informations and tips for the beaches and trips. We had really good time here and we hope to come back soon.

This hotel was a treasure in Hydra. Easy to get to from the port, it had a magical charm, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. My only regret is that I did not stay longer. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place just outside of center. It is really quiet and you can reach center of Hydra in just 10 minutes. Breakfast is really nice, the rooms really clean, spacious and nice. One negative is that there is isn't ramp for handicapped or strollers, neither an elevator due to the fact that the building is traditional and keep it like that. Generally Hydra is not the best place for wheelchairs neither...

What a glorious place. The room was comfortable. Be sure to ask for a room that allows for a view of the sea it is a special view indeed. One night we even saw fireworks from our window. I love your unique property when I visited Greece in fact I didn't even get a chance to stay there. But I did remember it and loved it so much that I sent all my clients they are now. Since I own a travel agency I'm always looking for Unique experiences and your property is definitely one. Maybe one day I'll be able to come back soon and really enjoy it.

I concur, Bratsera is one of the best, cosiest, and most tasteful hotels in Hydra. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for

Our receptionist Daphni was an amazing hostess and she's a very good professional. Very nice view from some rooms although one of them had a not-working air conditioning and the shower hot water only lasts for about ten minutes. For the upmarket price paid in low season, the breakfast REALLY needs to improve A LOT in all aspects.

Cute and quirky quality. Recently renovated 4 apartments with quality fit out. Rooms are small though and bedroom loft has low ceiling. Communal terrace outside has plenty of room and great views. Recommended for your stay in Hydra.

Not too far from the port of Hydra, it's a quiet location near the pharmacy. Yannis was very helpful in providing a thorough overview of the island, and giving recommendations of where to eat. Room was a good loft size, very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

It's an old mansion, very well located with all the old furniture, very well kept. Amazing hotel with unique rooms. Breakfast excellent. Views excellent. Rooms spacious, comfortable, unique, and impeccably clean. There was an issue with the private hot tub in the room but the staff went all out to fix it. Lots of neat places to sit and relax arpund the hotel. A very nice place in the perfect location with the amazing view of the harbor of the brilliant Hydra island. Very reasonable prices and nice service apart from a lunchtime. Anyway, there are many convenient facilities available for the guests. All in all, I do recommend this place for the short and long term staying. I liked it much.

This hotel is one of the most BEAUTIFUL hotels that I have stayed in. I have visited Hydra many times which is included in the 3 island tour from Piraeus, but, I always wanted to stay longer and staying here makes it so very lovely. I am booking for the second year in a row!! --Lisa, United States

Visited Vlychos Plakas beach in September 2021 - lovely scenic beach off the beaten path (50 mins walk from the main port). Warm, clean blue water however full of pebbles rather than sand (a little difficult to get in and out of the water). Great facilities - a sunbed is available for a few euros and there is a bar service and changing rooms. Would recommend!

This is the best spot in all of Hydra. It will cost €8 per person (4 Euros each way) to ride the water taxi from the main port of Hydra. There is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and if you are lucky, you will find lounge chairs and an umbrella, those are extra but well worth it. This place is super busy and is usually frequented by couples and families. This is definitely not for people...
