An absolutely beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Very quaint and old world, but definitely nt dated. Bedrooms are roomy and spotless, breakfast more than adequate and staff so friendly and helpful But above all, it's location is perfect for exploring Hydra, with it's narrow street hiding lovely shops, cafes and restaurants.

We stayed here 5th Sept - 9th 2024. Amazing hotel, fantastic breakfast and spotless room. Bathroom was fantastic with great shower. Staff were so friendly and nothing was any bother. Very close to the harbour and all the restaurants and shops. Absolutely loved our stay here and will certainly return. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making us so welcome

We stayed here for a one night visit in early August. We arrived after disembarking from our cruise ship and taking the ferry on a hot day, but from the minute we arrived the staff was very attentive and thoughtful, even offering cold water which was welcomed. Lovely, friendly hotel, great location. We had a balcony room on the second floor with a view over town and the hills. Helpful and friendly staff, great recommendations for restaurants. Conveniently located for the port and other sights, you don’t have to carry your bags up any steep paths. Lovely breakfast too, one of us has a gluten allergy and there were plenty of options.

I stayed here for a quick one-night visit in April. I arrived jet-lagged, and really needing a good rest. The staff was very kind and attentive, helping to ensure I was well taken care of from the moment I arrived. I loved my room with a balcony. I love your unique property when I visited Greece in fact I didn't even get a chance to stay there. But I did remember it and loved it so much that I sent all my clients they are now. Since I own a travel agency I'm always looking for Unique experiences and your property is definitely one. Maybe one day I'll be able to come back soon and really enjoy it.

I concur, Bratsera is one of the best, cosiest, and most tasteful hotels in Hydra. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for

Our receptionist Daphni was an amazing hostess and she's a very good professional. Very nice view from some rooms although one of them had a not-working air conditioning and the shower hot water only lasts for about ten minutes. For the upmarket price paid in low season, the breakfast REALLY needs to improve A LOT in all aspects.

Our favourite hotel on Hydra. Staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location just a short walk from the main port area. The breakfast on the hotel’s terrace was a highlight!

We stayed at the Hydra Hotel on our first night in Hydra. It was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful

Comfortable quiet, relaxing. Good bed. Nice courtyard with hot tub and sauna. Good bed and bath amenities. Caution:. Steep steps, 15, from street to front door. Close to Port and easy walk to restaurant. Beautiful rooms. Near police station. Up walk beside Skipper restaurant from harbor.

Cute and quirky quality. Recently renovated 4 apartments with quality fit out. Rooms are small though and bedroom loft has low ceiling. Communal terrace outside has plenty of room and great views. Recommended for your stay in Hydra.

Not too far from the port of Hydra, it's a quiet location near the pharmacy. Yannis was very helpful in providing a thorough overview of the island, and giving recommendations of where to eat. Room was a good loft size, very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

We booked this hotel trusting the google reviews and hoping people's comments were true. I'm happy to say they are. This hotel was a delightful surprise. It's an old mansion, very well located with all the old furniture, very well kept. They have a beautiful terrace to chill after a day in the ocean, a lovely patio where they serve the breakfast and our room was so comfortable I was sad to sleep in...

Amazing hotel with unique rooms. Breakfast excellent. Views excellent. Rooms spacious, comfortable, unique, and impeccably clean. There was an issue with the private hot tub in the room but the staff went all out to fix it. Lots of neat places to sit and relax arpund the hotel. Concierge service incredibly helpful and full of suggestions. Highest recommendation, I will stay here again when I come back...

A very nice place in the perfect location with the amazing view of the harbor of the brilliant Hydra island. Very reasonable prices and nice service apart from a lunchtime. Anyway, there are many convenient facilities available for the guests. All in all, I do recommend this place for the short and long term staying. I liked it much.

This hotel is one of the most BEAUTIFUL hotels that I have stayed in. I have visited Hydra many times which is included in the 3 island tour from Piraeus, but, I always wanted to stay longer and staying here makes it so very lovely. I am booking for the second year in a row!! --Lisa, United States

Visited Vlychos Plakas beach in September 2021 - lovely scenic beach off the beaten path (50 mins walk from the main port). Warm, clean blue water however full of pebbles rather than sand (a little difficult to get in and out of the water). Great facilities - a sunbed is available for a few euros and there is a bar service and changing rooms. Would recommend!

This is the best spot in all of Hydra. It will cost €8 per person (4 Euros each way) to ride the water taxi from the main port of Hydra. There is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and if you are lucky, you will find lounge chairs and an umbrella, those are extra but well worth it. This place is super busy and is usually frequented by couples and families. This is definitely not for people...

Lovely walk from Hydra town along the coast. Pebble beach with sunbeds, umbrellas and free WiFi. Great food, try the baked feta with honey. Suites to rent.
