Venus Hotel

We have been coming to this hotel now for over nine years. The staff are so attentive they remember you and welcome you as if you are part of the family. The hotel rooms are nice and clean. The main pool is good with actually the second pool round the back only 1 metre deep (adult only pool). They have a nice bar with good prices. This hotel does only bed and breakfast which is a buffet self service. The Main Street is only about 200 metres up the road. The noise levels are good at the hotel. There are plenty of bars and restaurants all around this area, all good. The airport is close by only 5 minutes by taxi costing about 18 euros. Planes do not land or take off during the night.

Best breakfast we've had fie variety.
Beds soooo comfortable. Air conditionining is perfect too.
Great location as just off the middle of the strip.
Main pool does get busy and is slightly small but not an issue as there is a great adult pool with the comfiest sunbeds.
Booked to return next year.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 11 notti in questo piccolo resort direttamente nel lido Venus di Tsilivi. Il resort è nuovo, tenuto benissimo, con sole 6 stanze moderne e dotate di ogni confort. Bagno con grande doccia, lavabo, wc separato, letto rotondo (che effettivamente occupa un po' troppo spazio). Televisione Led e ottima luminosità. Bel terrazzino esterno con tavolino e stendino. Praticamente sempre all'ombra. Pulizie quotidiane con cambio biancheria effettuato molto spesso. La donna delle pulizie sempre carina. Teli mare gratuiti così come la spiaggia (convenzionata). Ottima accoglienza anche da parte della ragazza all'ingresso del lido. Aria condizionata disponibile e ben funzionante. Abbiamo avuto acqua fredda un giorno e si sono subito attivati per il ripristino. Un problema con la chiave della stanza (difficoltà ad aprire e chiudere, come se si stesse rompendo la serratura) che però non è mai stato risolto. Altra pecca è la colazione si compresa, ma con sole 4 scelte di colazione all'inglese (abbiamo mangiato un paio di volte poi siamo andati altrove e bevevamo solamente un caffè). La colazione è servita al bar della spiaggia. Nel complesso approvo la scelta ovviamente per la comodità di avere la spiaggia (bella) praticamente in stanza e di poterci andare alle 7 di mattina senza che ci fosse nessuno ed utilizzarla nei giorni di relax quando non ci si spostava. Il prezzo pagato, nonostante la qualità dei servizi, è comunque eccessivo. Lo posso consigliare. PS: di sera la location è molto suggestiva, con diversi giochi di luce e praticamente in solitudine.

We stayed there 10 days in July where we felt like home thanks to Foteini, Hristos, Stavros and Eni. The room cleaning lady was very tidy and hardworking. You can also book touristic tours as well as Airport transfer from the desk. The resort has only 6 rooms so very quiet and discreet from the beach. The beach has a wide space where you can enjoy the sun, drinks and meals from the beach bar. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a calm vacation with a relaxing time.

The most wonderful stay. A totally relaxing experience. The rooms were fantastic and the location, right on the beach, was even better. Food was tasty, and the huge variety of drinks available was great. Maybe ordered one too many... Staff were great too, couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely return!

This place is so close to perfect. The hotel itself is so clean and tidy. Rooms are looked after daily by the lovely cleaners. Bar staff are amazing and friendly. Haris and Nancy will look after you. They make the best cocktails in Kalamaki. Breakfast and snack bar food is good. Only few minutes walk from the Strip or the sea. Cant wait to come back next year.

Can not recommend this place enough as a hotel or if you are just looking for drinks or food I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this venue and it did not disappoint, spent a few days around the pool as a few families in our holiday group stayed here and service from all the staff I met was brilliant above and beyond what was needed welcoming friendly and informative even with out huge wedding party the had every base covered and then some if you are thinking of visiting do it this place is a gem!!! Thanks from us to all the staff that made our holiday even more enjoyable then it has been because of your friendliness and spectacular service.

It’s all about the fantastic beach location at Venus and the incredibly hard working and friendly staff. We had a superb week there, lazing every day on our reserved sunbeds and far too often ordering a beer or 2 with Calemari, which typically arrived seconds after ordering it. I think it was Mario and Kostas who were so friendly and efficient at service, supported by a great team of girls at the beach bar. The star of the show for us was Fortina, who was available at the Venus kiosk and was able to book/help/advise on anything we cared to discuss with her, no strings attached. A wonderful person. The room was superb. Best shower I’ve experienced in Greece. Bed was huge. Cleaner changed linen and towels every day and so room was always clean and tidy. She was a lovely lady too. Breakfast at the beach bar every morning, next to the waves rolling in, set the relaxing tone every day. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit salad served with the European breakfast, normally served within 5 minutes of ordering. On the downside we found the Tavernas of Tsilivi a little too commercial for our liking, serving pasta and pizza etc. We struggled to find that authentic family run joint that we have been used to on other Greek islands. But I guess Tsilivi is a biggish resort these days so we shouldn’t have been surprised. But all in all we highly recommend the Venus, with its beautiful well kept gardens and trees and unique beach location. Cannot praise the staff highly enough. And apologies to those whose names I have misspelt! Paul and Anna.
