Aeolos Hotel

We booked the refurbished room. The extra large bed was very comfy and the large smart tv a very nice surprise! Just a 5 minute walk from the center up the hill makes this hotel an excellent choice if you want a quiet room away from the noise of the town. The owners were very kind and friendly and willing to give us all info about the best food and drinks in the island. Nice balcony with sea views! Fully equipped kitchenette was helpful too. We had a transfer from and to the port and help with the luggages! Highly recommend!

The staff was great.
The rooms and public spaces were very clean and there were plenty of amenities offered.
All in all it is a great place to return to and relax, after spending all day at the beach. 10/10 would recommend

Exceptional Hospitality and Unmatched Experience on Koufonisia

My stay on the Greek island of Koufonisia was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I booked, the hotel’s hospitality shone through. They sent informative messages ahead of time, allowing me to check in online, which made my arrival smooth and quick.

Their service is truly top-notch—they even waited for me at the port to pick me up and drive me to the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I was delighted to receive my room several hours before the official check-in time, which I really appreciated.

The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and a thoughtful design that blends perfectly with the island’s charm. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully designed, with a gorgeous terrace that overlooked the resort’s lush gardens, sparkling pool, and offered a breathtaking view of the sea.

The staff on-site were always friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The quality of the food was outstanding, with a variety of fresh, delicious options. Watching them squeeze fresh orange juice right in front of you was a special touch that made the experience even better.

Overall, the service, staff, and experience at this hotel surpass even some of the best 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in.

If I had to find something to complain about, I’d have to make it up—there was truly nothing to dislike! It’s a hidden gem on Koufonisia.

A lovely place to stay. Perfect for families with small children but also for couples.
The rooms are very spacious and clean.
There is a beautiful swimming pool and the breakfast is very very nice.
It has also a exceptionally good location, near the town and the beaches.
We would like very much to come again next year.
The owners Stan and Silvia are very nice people, trying always, that you have a fantastic time in their hotel.

Aeolos Hotel is by far the best place to stay in Koufonissia. We have known this for many years, and we have spent our summer holidays there for three years in a row. Unfortunately, this time we had to cut our holiday short due to a tragic family event, and we returned home after only one day of our booked 12-day stay. The owners refused to accept payment from us despite having every right to ask for full payment. In summary, not only is Aeolos Hotel the best place to spend your holidays in Greece, but the owners and staff also possess a level of empathy and integrity that is hard to find nowadays. Highly recommended, and I look forward to our future stays there.

We spent 3 days in AELOS HOTEL. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The swimming pool is very pleasant. The hotel is well located on the island. The only downside is the breakfast... the products do not match the quality of the hotel and are the same every morning.

Upon arriving at the hotel, you can’t help but notice how clean the common areas and rooms are. Truly spotless.
The good: big and comfortable rooms; beautiful garden.
What they can improve: the breakfast is ok but limited and not very tasty (especially the coffee). You can find a couple of breakfast options in the town with much better options; The room decor is a bit outdated.
Location: the hotel is at the top of a little hill just outside the town and just a bit further away from the bigger beaches of the island, so you will need to walk 10-20 minutes to get to either. If you prefer to be on the beach or in the town there are other options better located.

Fantastic experience at Aeolos. Walkable to the beach wirh a shuttle pickup to and from Port. Incredibly close to restaurants and the beaches. Stan was fantastic and gave amazing restaurant and beach recommendations, including pointing us to the 5€ all day hop-on-hop-off boat taxi. Genuinely the nicest person we met on pur trip. Yannis was very kind, and they held our luggage and let us hang out by the pool after checkout until our ferry. Can't wait to come back!

We have now stayed at the hotel on three occasions and each time we have had a great experience. The owners are super friendly and the staff will do what that can to make your stay as smooth as possible. The pool and gardens are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious - the green yogurt with fresh figs and honey is a must. Highly recommend
