Excellent place to stay. Antigone hotel is exceptionally clean. We were staying in this hotel 4 times since 2015 and never been disappointed or bored. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. Close to the beach and center less than 5 minutes walk. Rooms are big and clean, the pool if you want to chill is more than enough. The host is friendly and welcoming.

The stay was very pleasant. most enjoyable for us even though we were in Greece for the fourth time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the location is in a beautiful olive garden. The pool was also clean. The location was good, about 15 minutes from downtown, but very close to the ferry, restaurants and supermarket. Ianis and his family were the best host.

As others have mentioned the hill walk certainly gets the heart pumping on the way back. It is certainly steep. I was in the Lower level apartments which look more dated than others I've seen on the site. One complaint is no shower curtain and even though yiu were meant to hand hold shower it was difficult to keep water in. Very clean, bed linen and towels are changed every two days, there is a pheon in the room, and the mini kitchen is fully equipped. The lady in charge of check in speaks very good English and is very available. To the nearest beach (Golden Beach) there is a 5-10 minutes walk.

Our stay was great. The place was clean and cleaned everyday, comfortable room and nice terrace. We were spending a week here. Very cosy and romantic hotel. The view from balcony was stunning! The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Just a couple minuses- the breakfasts were always the same and the bed was rather loud. But overall the experience was realy relaxing:)

I visited the hotel in 2014-2015, I was fascinated by the cleanliness of the hotel, its panoramic views, and kind staff, patience with what is dealt to me. I decided next summer to visit the hotel again but this time I was disappointed with the lax attitude of the staff and low hygiene. Me and my girlfriend went to the hotel for 3 nights and we had a great time. The location of the hotel is great as you are close to the port and even have a terrace that is overlooking it. The people working there a very friendly and will always help if you need something. Every morning there is breakfast served and it is great lots of variety to choose from. I gave it a 5 because of the family that own and run it and the staff that look after you. Unless you are stand -offish,you are made to feel like old friends. The studios are big with a balcony that looks over the garden or pool with a side view of the sea.The 'kitchen' is behind a screen with a couple of cooking rings,sink and fridge. Our stay at Philoxenia was great. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. The manager was very inspired and gave us some useful island tips, helping us to find amazing spots. We surely recommend staying at Philoxenia any time.

The staff is caring and very polite. The rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast is great with local vegetables is fruits and overall very good variety. You can get a nice presentation about the island and can get all your questions answered. What's not to love!

First impressions. Only arrived today so these are just my immediate thoughts. Clean, tidy, friendly establishment which has had a lot of work done to it. Calm, not crowded, many cafes and bars serving on the beach. However it is rocky and the water is a bit muddy.

It was ok, there were tiny stones in the water, but if you go past them the sand is smooth. Plenty of terraces and bars to choose from, the waiters speak basic words from other European languages and are always very kind and willing to make your stay better and better!

The beach is small but clean and the weather is much clearer and cleaner then the rest of the beaches on this side. The entrance has rocks but there is sand at your feet after a few meters. You can even see some fish swimming around you.

The best location in downtown Kavala. You wouldn't ask for anything more to fully enjoy the city. Friendly staff, always doing their best to improve the services and incorporate new practices. The roof garden, operating in summer, offers a fascinating view, one you'll keep in your memory for the rest of your life.

The seaview is mesmerizing! I love how comfortable and neat the room turned out to be! The beach is quiet, and when it comes to the sea, the water is crystal clear (you can even see tiny fish). All members of staff were courteous and provided good service.

Nice room, small (not smart) TV, the food at the restaurant wasn't great, but the staff was friendly enough. They only played music at the beach 1 of the 7 days I was there. When I asked if they could play music again, the bar person seemed not to understand me and the music wasn't turned on for the next 3 days I was there.

The review is for restaurant. Yesterday we went to Nea Peramos and walked along the seafront full of terraces. We stopped at the Mira Mare terrace for lunch. It was a pleasant experience, the service was quite fast, I ate the tastiest grilled sardines in the area, acceptable prices.
