Excellent place to stay. Antigone hotel is exceptionally clean. We were staying in this hotel 4 times since 2015 and never been disappointed or bored. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the place is very relaxing. Pool and kitchenette are essential for travelling with kids. Great location. Antigone is affordable, cozy, homelike place. Enjoy!

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and center less than 5 minutes walk. Rooms are big and clean, the pool if you want to chill is more than enough. The host is friendly and welcoming.

It has always been a dream of my husband's to visit Greece so when my mom gifted us a three day stay at Hotel Thetis we were beyond excited! part of Thasos. Very friendly and helpfull staff, quiet (except for crickets) and very clean. Small pool bar and clean swimming pool. Thorough cleaning every day. Icecoffee at the pool bar is great. Airco not included, €5 a day, but in summer really helpfull. Really enjoyed our stay here.

The stay was very pleasant. most enjoyable for us even though we were in Greece for the fourth time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the location is in a beautiful olive garden. The pool was also clean. The location was good, about 15 minutes from downtown, but very close to the ferry, restaurants and supermarket. Ianis and his family were the best host.

As others have mentioned the hill walk certainly gets the heart pumping on the way back. It is certainly steep. I was in the Lower level apartments which look more dated than others I've seen on the site. One complaint is no shower curtain and even though yiu were meant to hand hold shower it was difficult to keep water in. Very clean, bed linen and towels are changed every two days, there is a pheon in the room, and the mini kitchen is fully equipped. The lady in charge of check in speaks very good English and is very available. To the nearest beach (Golden Beach) there is a 5-10 minutes walk.

Fantastic hotel, we've visited many times. The hill up to it is short and steep but you get used to if after the first day. Views from the room is amazing and rooms are cleaned everyday. Costas the owner cant do enough for you .

I give five stars to myself for my patience and 5 stars to the hotel owner that had to tolerate this kind of people. I am the Greek woman that the woman from Finland describes in her bad review. I was really unlucky to have a room near that family. EVERY NIGHT her adult children were drinking ,smoking substances until 3 in the morning and shouting . No respect .The owners asked them to be silent but...

Relax relax relax. Clean and peaceful hotel. The only negative thing was a group of Finnish people, very drunk at night. The owner had to call the police. The wrong kind of people for this quiet hotel.

Everything was perfect! I will come back! Recommended! The only black spot , that was not the fault of the people of the hotel , was a family from FINLAND. Always drunk , rude, noisy until 3 in the morning.. the owners were forced to call the police , and they were also rude with the policemen! A real shame on Finnish people.

The Hotel Dimitris is now run by relatives of the old boss. The comfort is of a normal Greek two-star standard. Breakfast changes daily, bread or rolls, sausage, cheese and jam. However, no buffet. The hotel is nice, not very clean though. The breakfast was very rudimentary. Otherwise the homeless kittens in the backyard were pretty cute :)

We really appreciated our stay at Golden Sunset. The owner and staff were very welcoming, friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Rooms clean and tidy. The hotel is on the beach, in a very quiet and nice area. The rooms are clean. What I liked more and the thing that made difference for me was the Staff of the hotel along with the owners. Everybody is super friendly, very helpful and do their best to make your stay great.

I gave it a 5 because of the family that own and run it and the staff that look after you. Unless you are stand -offish,you are made to feel like old friends. The studios are big with a balcony that looks over the garden or pool with a side view of the sea.The 'kitchen' is behind a screen with a couple of cooking rings,sink and fridge. The bathroom has a walk in shower and is clean and functional....

Not the best conditions, not a 5* hotel. But people there is great, and is they will help you with everything you need. The friendly environment and staff is getting the 5* for me!

Very nice place, clean, good accommodations for me, tasty breakfast, the owner very nice and professional.

The hotel is located very near tot the taverns, port and market. The staff was exceptional an the food was very tasty. The manager help us with information anytime when i needed. I truly recommend to stay at the Philoxenia Hotel if you want to have a wonderful vacay and feel like home!

Our stay at Philoxenia was great. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. The manager was very inspired and gave us some useful island tips, helping us to find amazing spots. We surely recommend staying at Philoxenia any time.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel at the end of August 2022. The service was very good. The staff was smiley and friendly. I read some reviews about the breakfast for which I had low expectations. It was actually good and different every day. I liked it. We were getting clean towels every day. The rooms were clean. The downside was that the rooms were not sound proof. There were many families with children...

We stayed here for a week on the beautiful Island of Thassos. The hosts are very welcoming, especially Anna and the young female female assistant, (Maria?) Rooms are very comfortable with a superb shower. Good views from the rooftop terrace, which also includes a hot tub and tiny pool

First impressions. Only arrived today so these are just my immediate thoughts. Clean, tidy, friendly establishment which has had a lot of work done to it. There are a few minor issues, which I hope we can get resolved quickly, but otherwise the Menel appears to have been an inspired choice. I'll add to this when we've settled in properly.

Good breakfast buffet selection for a small hotel. 20 yards outside the door to a great little village and selection of tavernas and bars. Try the Street Cafe cocktails! Very nice place with a very artistic lobby, where you can meet anyone you wish (even for professional reasons). The paintings of the famous Greek painter and engraver Takis Tsentemaidis provide a superb quality at the place!

The best location in downtown Kavala. You wouldn't ask for anything more to fully enjoy the city. Friendly staff, always doing their best to improve the services and incorporate new practices. The roof garden, operating in summer, offers a fascinating view, one you'll keep in your memory for the rest of your life.

The review is for restaurant. Yesterday we went to Nea Peramos and walked along the seafront full of terraces. We stopped at the Mira Mare terrace for lunch. It was a pleasant experience, the service was quite fast, I ate the tastiest grilled sardines in the area, acceptable prices.

Kind people and good food and plates, if not for the chaos while ordering. Needs more organized management and english speaking personal for the holidays... We had the salad Mia mare and it was very tasty. Goes great with the spinach balls and ouzo. I would give it 5 stars if not for the service.

I could tell from the people's energies that own and work for this hotel we would have a relaxing and wonderful stay. A hidden gem for Peramos , when I first arrived a year and a half ago I didn't know that this was a hotel I just had a coffee when it was spring in Greece . This time I am experiencing the large spacious room and bathroom with a balcony that sees the sea and the island of Thassos ...

Nice hotel with private beach, spacious rooms and great view. The restaurant of the hotel is a must try. The food is always fresh, usually catched by the owner. And if you want to have a drink when the night is still young, there is a bar just for you in the hotel. Internet and game room are also available.
