Makryammos Bungalows

Unique combination between sea and forest! Amazing view, beautiful gardens, the best beach in the island! The bungalows are luxury and clean, the food was delicious. The perfect place for family with children and nature lovers! It’s worth to visit. Thank you Makryammos for wonderful holiday!

It was our 4th time in Makryammos Bungalows and this is one of our favorite places for family vacation in the summer.
My positive feedback:
+ Top Location, very beautiful,
+ Mix of sea and forest giving you the feeling that you are part of the nature.
+ Kids are amazed my the deer and the peacocks and it is possible to have your dog with you in the complex.
+ This year there was a renovation of some of the rooms and lounge bar - and they look very cozy, modern and relaxing.
+ Kids club is great! Ladies there are doing amazing work and inspire kids creativity.
+This year they cleaned the room every day.
+ Almost all staff were friendly.
+This year they introduced new beach activities for kids and adults.

Some feedback for improvement:
- We were very disappointed by the food this year. Unfortunately very different from our previous experience... Considering that there are a lot of kids we would expect to have pancakes everyday and not only 2 days, no fresh juice, no omelette and others... The situation with the dinner was similar - there was ice-cream only one day ) when kids were expecting it all day long..., very limited fruit variety.
- WC next to the beach was very only one for the ladies, very dark, and dirty - needs reconstruction!!!
Hope this will be considered as a constructive feedback and next year if we are back, they will improve the above.

Very nice location, close to the ferry. Great beach with very nice activities and amenities. They serve breakfast and dinner. I suggest to get only breakfast and get dinner somewhere else. For a family of 4 they have 2 separate rooms with 1 bath which was enough for us. Highly recommend.

The beach and the sea are very beautiful. Beach services are good. From time to time there are no clean towels but the staff brings them.
The rooms are spacious enough. Cleanliness is good.
The restaurant …. Honestly, I was a little disappointed only in terms of food, but the reason is that no cuisine is close to our food (🇹🇷). Nevertheless, if you don't have very high expectations, you can be satisfied.

We were looking for a place to relax with our teenage kids after all the stress of exams. Lovely quiet location on a beautiful little sandy bay. The bungalows are arranged up the hill but access was no problem for us. Our rooms were comfy with a nice outside terrace. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food served at breakfast and dinner was very good. Prices in the hotel bar were similar to those in town. The hotel is not far from Thassos town if you want a change of scenery. As we were staying for two weeks We hired a car to give us the option of some day trips and also did some local walks. The hotel made a great base for this.

Wonderful hotel. A very beautiful bay. Clear turquoise sea. Lots of places to walk for those who love nature.

An excellent green oasis, white sand and the purest water in the sea...

Excellent hotel! Luxurious!! Perfectly located, delicious food, even the smallest whims have something to feed! Everything is thought out, silence, relaxation. A beach with almost white sand, a gentle long entrance, the water is clear!! Comfort at 100%. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, the territory is huge, well-groomed, peacocks walk like chickens in the village! 😆 . Paradise, a quiet paradise on a single Greek island!)) Beautiful place to have a vacation with kids. Location is just best on the island in my opinion. White send beach, blue sea, better then on photos. Hotel is not newly renovated, but it well maintained and everything looks good, comfortable to use, pleasure to see. The area around is super green, like a park/forest. Bungalows are comfortable enough, but some fresh touch is needed, also something to make it cozy. Breakfast and dinner is good, huge variety of different food (choice of fish, seafood, traditional Greek food, fresh fruits, and much more, even to much in my opinion), I can not say everything is delicious, but always you can find something on your taste. Staff are very smiling, helpful, quick, friendly, a big thanks to all people in restaurants, reception. Mostly all is just great, very relaxing stay.
