Santorini Heritage Villas

Megalochori village is a true greek village with both beauty and privacy. It is tucked away from the busy cities such as Fira, Oia etc. This makes it peaceful and tranquil. To us it worked very well as there were no one to walk over our heads such as what you see in Oia and Fira where people are walking by so close to your villa and there is no privacy. Here it is much peaceful and private with no noise. This is what one needs on a holiday. Rest getting to Oia and Fira is only within 30mins drive, so best to take walks around there and enjoy variety of restaurants.

The village offers a nearby family bakery which was brilliant. Nice walks away from traffic and it's only 100yrds away from the main road which joins to head over to Fira or Oia. Fira just being under 20mins drive and Oia about 30mins or so.

Constantino provided excellent customer service and support and the place was very clean and tidy. Sophia mansion is a quiet and private area which is locked by the main gates/door. And the place is yours. Walls are high enough for you to enjoy your private pool and sun bathing. Facing the Blue Dome which is located on the high street.

Constantino sat down with us to explain the map of Santorini and recommended areas to visit. This shows great detail of top levels of client orientation and care for the guests. Constantino welcomed us when we got there, so we didnt have to wait at all. This is all one needs.

Room service was well maintained and housekeeping lady is such a lovely person who kept the house tidy regularly. Everything in its place.

My friends and I came here for spring break and this couldn’t have been a better spot to do so. The host was very responsive and gave us a lot of options for local and authentic cuisine. We were able to have transfers to and from places at our disposal. The location is absolutely worth the price and I will be planning my trip back soon!

Beautiful space to stay. The village of Megalochori is a true gem. Very quiet place with friendly people and a labyrinth of walkways that take you to wonderful sites. This property is impeccable, and is more beautiful than the pictures. Everything at the villa is taken care of so well. Anything you may need is there. Takis and Konstantinos are outstanding to work with and made my trip a real pleasure. Megalochori is close to everything but far away enough from the port areas to experience the local culture. Great traditional restaurants, shops and a bakery are just steps away from your door. Highly Recommend and definitely will be going back.

We have had such a wonderful week at Sophia Mansion in beautiful Santorini.
Everything is excellent: from communicating with Takis before the trip, his superb guide to the house & island, the adorable & well-equipped villa, to the friendly lady who cleans every day. The pool was a real bonus and Konstantinos, our concierge, was fantastic! He was so full of ideas & suggestions for great beaches, sightseeing, eating and, of course, experiencing the most stunning sunsets! 🌅 This has been a very special week for my family and me. 😊

This villa was amazing! Each couple had their own area, and the courtyard and pool were fantastic for gathering. The concierge really helped us understand various things to do in Santorini, and he gave us great recommendations. This is a beautiful villa that is in a peaceful area, but there are many spots you can walk to from the villa. We loved staying at this villa!

The most perfect and magical Villa in all of Megalochori! If you are looking for that perfect location, with the perfect host, this is your destination! The location in the village it’s just steps away from the shops, restaurants but so private and quiet. Even if it’s just one person traveling alone (like I did,) this was the best experience of my trip. Fall in love with Santorini s as bad Sophia…you will never want to leave.

Wonderful pretty traditional village stay in beautiful Mansion Sophia ! Villa Sophia is in the heart of pretty village Megalochori ! 2 minutes walk from bars, restaurants and shops. It is a very quaint traditional villa with dark wood and traditional fittings! The bed was so comfortable and the pool was perfect to cool down in - it was very hot during our stay but inside the villa was cool and the bedroom had air con so comfortable temperature was maintained throughout! The car hire that came with the villa was very easy too ! We turned up at desk inside terminal, gave name and 10 mins later drove away in car ! Parking is in a car park roughly 4min walk from villa ! Everything you need is in the villa for a stay there! And both Takis and Konstantinos were only a call away should you require anything or any assistance! We loved our stay here and totally recommend a stay at this beautiful quaint villa set in a pretty traditional village. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making our stay so special and wonderful! 😊😍

Our stay was magical. Both Takis and Konstantinos communicated often and ensured we had a great stay. Konstantinos was very responsive and provided great recommendations. The village is so charming and quiet. All of the recommendations for places to eat were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
