Hotels with sea view in Megalokhori

This is such a beautiful resort, sadly we didn’t appreciate it immediately because some of the pictures shown on the BA website gave you the impression you were overlooking the Caldera and as this couldn’t be further from the truth our initial reaction was one of disappointment

We did hire a little car for the 8 days we were here which we do recommend as you are quite tucked away in Magalochori and managed to visit the three beautiful black beaches, our favourite was Kamari and spent the day on the sunbeds provided by Ammos Cafe another beautiful gem, looks unassuming but quality of food, drink and service were wonderful

This is a wonderful place to stay. All the staff cannot do enough for you. Very authentic Greek buildings and cobblestone walkways. The quaint village has a few restaurants, a winery and some leather and jewelry stores

We made our concerns known to the front of house staff and they said they would do everything possible to improve our situation but asked us to bare with them as this particular day they were incredibly busy

The tranquility of the property you do not initially appreciate until you spend an evening in Fira or Oia, both have stunningly beautiful vistas and definitely worth a visit but are so very overcrowded so quite honestly was a relief to get back to the Vedema which gives you the impression you are in your own little Greek village

We did a catamaran trip which took you to the Red and White beaches then on to the volcano where we dropped anchor and had the most delicious lunch cooked on board by the captain! But everyday coming back from our trips out it was to a lovely warm welcome and the calm of the Vedema

Unbelievable place! Everything was so easy and Pleasant. The staff were Amazing and value for money was exceptional. They organised everything including moped rental and the food was Amazing!!!!

Nice hotel with excellent views, bar music outdoor pool was great, only the spa facilities were not available

Great experience. We needed a hotel near the port, which led us to book the hotel for only a night. Positive ambience and spectacular view. Amazing service and hospitality. Very tasty cuisine.

The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge amount to choose from but the items they had were fresh and good. The view is amazing, and the spa was very nice (we didn't use it but the staff gave us a tour)

Great locatio for view if the island. The spa was not available which was very disappointing as this was the main reason for selection

The hotel is in a very good location, facing the sea, and you can watch the sunset while sitting in the house. The front desk service is meticulous

The scenery is unbeatable. The advantage of this area is that there are not so many stairs like Fira and Oia Luggage needs to be moved up and down. The service staff are very friendly There are also many cute cats

Everything about this hotel was perfect from the room to the staff to the excellent service provided by all staff members. I can not express how thankful and happy we are for the experience we had at Grand View

We loved the hotel. The views are wonderful. The staff is super friendly and professional. The breakfast is very varied and fresh every day. I definitely recommend it and I will stay there again when I return.

We liked everything about the property location, amenities, food, staff and service. From the time we entered the hotel we were treated well by Kris and Sofia. They were very friendly and helpful

A big part of why our trip to Santorini was so great was because of Grand View, so thank you guys again. My fiancé and I look forward to hopefully seeing you guys soon!!

The on-site restaurant was also fantastic — the food was absolutely delicious and made dining in feel just as special as exploring the island

He also recommended some restaurants for us to eat at. The room had a lovely view over the caldera and had everything to make us comfortable, even the shower has a view

You have to leave your key at the front desk to request room service for cleaning and fresh towels. Breakfast was in a beautiful dining area with nice views of the sea if you get the right table

Excellent hotel we will go again next year

I'm not sure how to rate this stay. The hotel was gorgeous the pool was very nice. The breakfast was good but monitored. Meaning I was asked if it was my "second" cup. I received the impression they were very stingy

Front desk helped us rent a car so we could explore the island. Across from the hotel is a Windmill with a beautiful view of the sunset and Caldera Bay. There's a warmth and good energy about the property

They even charged for use of a towel at the pool. They serve no food but a meager breakfast. If you want to eat lunch or dinner you have to go to the village about a half mile away

I thought the young lady that was working there could have kept our coffee fresh but she did not we had to go back up the stairs and inside just for a second or third coffee

10 and the bed was so comfortable so clean toilet and everything furniture disign are perfect suite and the view from our balcony. Breakfast: They will give you a list to select what/when and where you liked it to serve

“A Dream Stay at Caldera’s Dolphin” We recently stayed at Caldera’s Dolphin, and it was truly a dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and exceptional hospitality

The pool size is perfect and water already warm. There is mini open GYM not to big but fully enough. Staff SEBASTIÁN and lady Princess at the pool bar cooked for us

The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, offering an uninterrupted panorama of the caldera that was mesmerizing both day and night

They are nice always smiling and greet the guest they willing to serve and give some info if you ask them - they are so polite

It’s located in Megalochori, which isn’t in the centre but has beautiful lanes and very close to Heart of Santorini- a lovely place to watch sunsets 💜 we rented an ATV (you will have to rent a car, bike or ATV to get around the island) and got everywhere within 15-30 minutes

The hostess, Andriana, is not only very nice but also super helpful, providing links to all the sites to see as well as quickly addressing any issues that may arise

It's located very conveniently to a lovely family restaurant, a car rental facility, and up the road is a charming bakery with wonderful food and terrific coffee

Easy access to Megalochori (walking distance), Fira (15 min by car), Oia (30 min by car), and all the other gorgeous places to see on the island

This place is nothing short of magical. Santorini is beautiful in and of itself, but The Majestic Sky Luxury Suites made it that much sweeter

The rooms are MASSIVE and the terrace is huge with a pool! Saw the most glorious full moon from here 🌸 definitely recommend!!!

A great place with a wonderful view. Rooms are very cute and staff very nice. The village at walking distance is a cute one with lots of restaurants. which is good as there is no bar ou restaurant in the place

We stayed in the suite, and was one of the best rooms I have ever taken. The view is breathtaking, the rooms are clean with air conditioning, the breakfast is also very good

Our room was clean, and has very nice views of the Aegean and Caldeira. Every day we had our Breakfast by the pool, overlooking that amazing view! Highly recommended

The hotel does not have many people staying, so the pool is never crowded, and the staff is friendly. Also the location is probably ideal to stay on the island

The only problem is that the bed is at the floor above the air conditioning, so on hot days (which are rare in the windy Santorini) the bed can be too warm

The experience we had staying at Mesanto Luxury Suites was unique, it had all the comforts, we really did not want to leave the room even though we were on such a beautiful island

After going with him on the motorcycle at full speed, advancing in dangerous places and without having offered me a helmet, we arrived at his shop and he offered me a quad that was in very bad conditions, which I refused

Highlight the attention of staff on arrival. The room was very new and comfortable. Very comfortable bed We were able to use the pool they have in the reception area. The sunset views from the pool are spectacular

We had a great experience: great room with balcony, pool was chill and the people are very nice! They helped to arrange a lot of activities, like transport to the airport but also a boat trip and renting a quad! Downstairs, there is a mini market, which is ideal and very useful

The lady in the reception was so helpful, so nice! The Heart of Santorini was truly my favorite part while I was in Santorini and it was such a short walk, definitely go see the sunset there if you have the chance!

We loved the room, spacious terrace, good firm bed, good working AC and friendly stuff also everyone speaks english very well. You have a market right under the hotel and a bus station right in front

Property is very clean, they have shuttles and on site covid testing upon request for an additional charge and there is a market attached to the hotel. The town center is within walking distance!

A very nice hotel with cozy rooms. The room was cleaned every day, the towels changed every second day. The swimming pool available from 9am to 10pm

No meals offered in the hotel but it is just about 500 meters from The Bakery and other cafeterias and restaurants of the town

Good location in the middle of the island, bus stop right in front of the hotel door. And the amazing front desk man who was so helpful during our stay that I added one more star just for him

Zorbas was a pleasant experience our flight came in super late and they stayed to greet us and made sure we got to the room ok which the room was very clean so was the whole place breakfast was good me and my wife loved it and we are very picky

The hotel is located in a very nice position, from which is easy to go (even by walk) to some of the most famous restaurants of the place and some important attractions, such as the caves of Megalochori

Plus, even tho he's always very busy because he also serves at tables and does many other things too, he makes sure every client is happy and satisfied. Definetly deserves a standing ovation🥺👏

Breakfast is good, enough to start the day. The pool is always quiet and it can be enjoyed all day, "from sunrise to sunset", as the woman at the reception said

we stayed 3 nights and it was the best experience ever, the staff were very friendly and very cooperative with us. the breakfast WOW thats all i say WOW. we had our own little swimming pool with sun beds

Proximity to Megalochori is a bonus, just 10min walk and the hotel 1min away has a fabulous restaurant with an incredible sunset view

The view is unreal but far away from being a luxury hotel. We were downgraded and they wanted us to pay the same price as the higher accommodation. Then they offered a nice compensation

The breakfast needs to be booked and sometimes they missed things that you ordered

Diese Reise war ein Geschenk an meine Eltern zum Geburtstag und darum wurde darauf geachtet, dass das Hotel auch für ältere Menschen geeignet ist (was zb in Oia oder Firma auf Grund der vielen Treppen selten der Fall ist)

Dieser Aspekt wurde auf jeden Fall erfüllt, da die kleinen Häuser nahezu barrierefrei sind. Der Pool war schön und gepflegt. Das Frühstück reichhaltig und schmackhaft

Die Lage ist perfekt und der Ausblick wunderschön, auch auf den Sonnenuntergang

Excellent service provided by the Manager of the villa Christine, provided great hospitality and had a fantastic experience in Santorini, appreciated the fact we were able to book transfers efficiently by Christine which was really accommodating

The peaceful village setting in Megalochori was perfect for relaxing and experiencing local life away from the busy tourist areas. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect

We could only stay one night but it was well worth it and wish it had been longer. The location is in the heart of the village not far from the airport or the port by taxi

The place felt like an oasis with our own private pool and villa. It is walking distance to local restaurants, a bakery and the heart of Santorini (a viewpoint)

Ducato Wine Hotel & Villas is a hidden gem in Santorini! The villa was beautifully designed, comfortable, and had a private pool that we enjoyed every day

The hosts were incredibly accommodating organising all our taxis. Will definitely stay again if ever in the area

Here it is much peaceful and private with no noise. This is what one needs on a holiday. Rest getting to Oia and Fira is only within 30mins drive, so best to take walks around there and enjoy variety of restaurants

Sophia mansion is a quiet and private area which is locked by the main gates/door. Walls are high enough for you to enjoy your private pool and sun bathing. Facing the Blue Dome which is located on the high street

To us it worked very well as there were no one to walk over our heads such as what you see in Oia and Fira where people are walking by so close to your villa and there is no privacy

The village offers a nearby family bakery which was brilliant. Nice walks away from traffic and it's only 100yrds away from the main road which joins to head over to Fira or Oia

Megalochori village is a true greek village with both beauty and privacy. It is tucked away from the busy cities such as Fira, Oia etc. This makes it peaceful and tranquil

Fira just being under 20mins drive and Oia about 30mins or so. Constantino provided excellent customer service and support and the place was very clean and tidy

Very clean and spacious villa with a lovely jacuzzi that you could be in it and enjoy viewing sunset in the same time. we were 2 couples and villa was big enough with separate bathrooms

for me a clean and Cousy space is a must and this place was more than what I was expecting 👌🏻👌🏻

The hotel was very neat and clean and George (as everyone in the review keeps talking about) was fantastic and made our trip much much better and easier. He was so polite, professional and always so helpful
