Loriet Hotel

I saw a cockroach in the room at night and I have a phobia. I went down to the reception and there was no one. They had locked the doors of the hotel and left us stranded. I didn't sleep at the reception until the morning and no one came. I didn't sleep until the morning. How can they lock the doors? It's against human rights. It's now 6:30 in the morning and there's still no one there and the doors are clicking.

Let's start with the good.... It's close to the airport and Mitilini city.
Now here comes the naked true. We were inspired and motivated to book here because of the nice photos of the central building. Don't bite.... It's fake as the main building is reception and maybe some premium suites up floor. The rest of the room are at the back of the parcel in a garden where during night due to uneven pathway and the limited light it is very easy to have an accident.
Rooms desperately need renovation. Facilities are very poor for the price you pay. We saw rats outside the rooms in the garden. We had unexpected cat visitors in our room during the night coming in from the broken sieves. Despite the fact that we reported this to the manager they neither fixed the sieves nor offered us another room.
The water pressure drops by 50% when the next room flushes the toilet. That happened to me during a shower and I almost got burned from hot water.
Wall isolation is terrible.
We had a very noisy fridge that we had to power off during night.
I can go on with many many issues we faced. In a nutshell, if the price was 30% to 40% less I would considered as a decent deal. 115Euro for a double bed is way too expensive. You can get much better value a lower price in other hotels or even better in Airbnb apartments..
