The house is a beautiful, traditional Stone Cretan house with history in a wonderful quiet neighborhood! The beds are very big and comfy! Kitchen is full equipped! Bathroom is cozy and clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful to give recommendations to visit beautiful beaches in the round area!

This is a nice house with beautiful garden. We spent two nights there. The village is very traditional with good restaurants. The beaches are close (by car). Jodi is a nice and warm person. We enjoyed our time there.

Very nice guesthouse in the village, kind people, big rooms with air conditioning. The only bad thing is that the balconies of some rooms communicate, that is, they do not have a partition. Also it would be good if there was a parking space because it is difficult to find a place. Maybe the Municipality should make sure to create a municipal parking lot.

The pension is in the middle of the village, three scraps from the market place, wonderful view of the mountains, the sea and the surrounding villages, very pleasant rooms and bathrooms or showers with a large balcony, kitchen with dishes above. We stayed there for a week in July 2021. It is a lovely place close to the sea. Small, clean and very nice! Theo, Irini and Michalis are Superhosts!!! So it was a plesure to meet them!

4 Stars? 5 Stars? Why? What for? It deserves 3 stars for cleanliness and cordiality of the owners. But it does not make up for the lack of charm. Loud and partially broken aircon as well as a balcony that's useless (too hot and again too loud aircon (the backside)). However, this might still be one of the better options in the area as the other hotels do not look much more promising..

Loved the family atmosphere and the comfortable accommodation. Our balcony had a beautiful sea view and we enjoyed breakfast there everyday! The beach is just some minutes away and the quiet countryside is just charming. Irina and the family are all so helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!

Con Road that leads to it is mountain road. It is not comfortable. Pros Road is beautiful passing olive groves and gorge and villages. Good base to moderate hike to Palm beach. Palm Beach is worth the visit. YoI will need to bring your Beach gear. Taverna is there but no lounges. Way to go... Hike to the Palm Beach in the morning come back to the Alexander Beach around lunch.

I stayed with my 2 children in a triple room. The rooms was rather small but nice ad clean. The balcony was over viewing the street and at time noisy. The bathroom was fine but the shower box small (i am not big). The pool was large and clean and the area around very well kept. The hotel has the resort feeling which is not my style. The clientele was mainly German and the staff spoke better German...

Great place to stay in Kalamaki. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The host is very friendly and welcoming. The position is perfect and everything is within reach. From here to Phaistos is only 10 minutes with the car. Definitely recommend this apartments!

Small family-run hotel. Super clean! Very kind and helpful owners. When booking, I suggest asking for a room not under the dining area, otherwise you risk a bit of confusion for those who want to sleep. For dinner, in this case too, I suggest doing it outside because there is no buffet or agreeing it together

We Traveled to Matala because of severe weather in Chania area, so we chased the sun and ended up looking for a new place to stay. Most welcoming reception and could not have made us feel more special. Rooms are modern and newly decorated, breakfast included and a great pool. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and explore the southern side of Crete then this is just the place. Great value
