the rooms are quite basic, other than what you see on the booking websites, but all necessities are there. bathrooms are typical greek; small open showers means a very wet bathroom. staff is super friendly and ambiance is very nice. breakfast is good. location is great. a beach nearby with beds for 8 EUR. and restaurants, supermarket and bars within a 5 min walk with great scenery and not super touristy

My wife and I spent a week here while traveling around the island and the hospitality was amazing. A very kind and caring family greeted us and helped us explore the island throughout our time. We also had great conversations in the evening with the night staff. With a healthy breakfast every morning, and a pool perfect for cooling off, we have great memories.

The name Sunrise Hotel is an understatement! Seeing the sun rise over the mountains across the Aegean Sea around 630 am is an incredible site to see. The rooms are a bit small, however there is adequate closet space for your belongings and the rooms are very clean. Had a beautiful stay at Paradise Hotel. Location is close to the water and shops - an easy walk from the port even with luggage. Surrounding gardens are very beautiful and with great views from most rooms. The rooms themselves were perfectly clean and very comfortable (although slight scent of cigarette smoke). This a nice budget option with friendly staff. Sevi, from the frontdesk, is the best of all. She treated us like family, answering all our inquiries and providing us with great tips. It was a heart-warming experience overall. The rooms are clean with a working a/c unit. The hotel owner was very helpful and a very sweet woman. If I ever come to Samos again, I would stay at this hotel. It's within walking distance of the port, and we loved it. Our room was a family room with a double bed and bunk beds.

Lovely Greek Hotel with wonderful views of Samos town and port. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We got a nice and very clean room with a balcony overlooking the Aegean sea for a very good price! We stayed 7 days. The distance to the center is only a 5min walk and there was enough space to park our car. Samos is a beautiful town with good restaurants. Highly recommended.

The bathrooms in the rooms are very small. It's good to be in the center, but you have to wait a long time for the room on the first day.

It's an ok hotel. It's clean, and the service is good. Apparently they don't have double rooms so we ended up in two separate rooms, which was unexpected, but in our case it was fine. If we had small children I wouldn't want them in a separate room though. The breakfast is a bit lacking, but if you just pop next door you'll find a great place to eat breakfast.

Now this one is an interesting place. The owners are an old couple. The lady does not speak much, didn't see her smiling. The husband however is so helpful and dedicated to customers. He gave his own shampoo and even gave us breakfast during our check out early in the morning. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were excellent, the room was nice and comfortable and very clean. The only drawback was that the shower is very small with a plastic curtain that doesn't prevent the shower from going all over the bathroom.

Had a great stay at Emily Hotel . The staff is very friendly and helped me a lot to get to know great places in the town . The hotel is not far from Vathy Port only 5 minutes walk away . The closest nice beach is Paralia Gaggou and it is 15 minutes walk away . The bus stop for travelling around the island is 5 minutes walk away. Strongly recommended to stay.

I stayed at the hotel for two days. Its location is very very good, close to city center and a good beach. Our room was at the uppest floor with a great Island view. Disadvantages; rooms are so old, bath has bad condition, just one or two sockets are working. So crowdes at Breakfast time, you must be fast for finding an egg or cake.

Rooms are totally new and well decorated. Plus their views are stunning! It is close to Gagou beach which has a restaurant and it is >5 mins distance. It is run by a family, who are the most sympathetic and kind people in the whole island!

Nice place for invitations and nice staff except for the manager. He is an arrogant and rude individual who clearly doesn't care about the staff or the customers. Providing great comfort with good service, large and clean rooms, rich selection of breakfast and amazing staff always smiling and very friendly. Location is a little far from center to walk 8-10 minutes but it's also acceptable as it makes the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. Vila Maria is a simple but delightful location. A very friendly owner who is happy to tell you about his island. In the evening before you go out for dinner, he likes to invite you for a cozy home-brewed drink. You feel at home.
