Where to stay in Pythagorio

We have been staying at the Doryssa seaside resort for a week now and what a beautiful hotel. The most relaxing week we have had. The staff are amazing, so friendly and professional. The hotel is architecturally very beautiful. Its facilities are generally very good. The beach and sea are very beautiful, very sufficient. I just think the room prices are a bit expensive. There is also a middle-aged staff member at breakfast. She chooses whether to greet people or not by looking at what they are wearing. It was disturbing to me. We spent a week at Casa Cook and had a marvelous time. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. We loved the clean minimalism of the buildings and the rooms. Best hotel on the island. You will hear the airport. Think about it if you don’t like airplanes. Flights from 7-7 with usually 4 morning, 4 evening flights. Great place with service-minded staff and beautiful rooms. Quiet and peaceful close to the ocean. The only drawback is its location close to the airport, but that didn't bother us very much when we were here in mid-June.

Such a perfect setting for this hotel. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and good food plus a swimming pool that's a proper size and depth. The best part is that you can just stroll onto the beach and relax all day. We had such a great week.

Had a wonderful two weeks here. Rooms are basic but very clean and better than many other hotels in Greece. Beds are comfortable and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Good pool and close to the sea with beds available. Twenty minute walk to Pythagorion is fine for dinner. The hotel is big and has a nice sea view but the rooms need improvement. The lighting was not well, the air conditioners were placed wrong and the room was full of ants. Our safe and room cards did not work well. Staff were friendly but will not visit again because the rooms were not comfortable.

It is a very nice place, clean with a very beautiful view. Some steps down and you can swim at the nice, clean and sandy beach where you can dine at its beach restaurant. Make sure to get a spacious room. If you wish you can use its beautiful swimming pool.

The only downside is; it takes a steep hill to get to and from the hotel and sunbeds are €3 a piece. But everything else is amazing, especially the receptionist Elisávet has been extremely helpful. I'm definitely going back, it was wonderful.

The nicest people ive met so far! The stay was great, room was clean, pool was amazing and the hotel was beautiful. You could take a bus to Pythagorion from the hotel and be picked up again. Next door was a supermarket and the beach is not far. The only thing I would have loved to see if there were more various options for vegetarians during meals :)

I was staying here with my girlfriend for 15 days and for the people who are in to a peacefull easy hotel, this is quite the place. This hotel is lovely , you have an amazing pool which is 20m away from the beach , if u stay here I reccomend going with the company called Richmond as it asking provides food and a lovely community , they also tech you how to sail, windsurf and paddle board along with loads of other interesting activities , if I have children they provide support for them aswell

First the bad stuff; it's a cheaper hotel, two stars I believe, so don't expect a giant bathroom, perfect rooms and great breakfast. The good stuff; the basic necessities are all there, the hostess is very sweet and lively, the sea or mountain breeze can cool you and the view from many of the rooms is absolutely magnificent! But remember; you have to walk to this hotel every time you walk from it....

Good, basic & clean hotel. We were upgraded to a renovated room which was very nice albeit it quite small. Good well stocked breakfast in the morning. The only negatives were quite a noisy clean up crew who start at 7am in the morning with a trolley with a high squeaking wheel waking the whole hotel. Good location, friendly staff but the hotel is old and need some renovation. The AC in my parents room did not work and even after asking they could not get it to work. Breakfast isn't any good either, stale bread, not many choices.

Host are very friendly, it' clean, they are changig sheets and towels every Day and clean the room. There is one beach Just infront of the gaude (50 m) but the main beach is 400 m faraway.

This Hotel is located on the one of the best possible location in Pythagorion. It is in quiet street, only 50m from the very cute beach, 50m from promenade and waterfront, 100m from the local fortress and church were you can find attractive view. Hotel stuff is very hospitable and nice.

I liked everything og our stay. The hotel is located very closely to pythagor center and it s just near the sea. The sea was great. There are sunbeds on the beach of the hotel. We loved the room.
