Where to stay in Pythagorio

Absolutely perfect… Me and my wife stay 4 nights on September. We loved this hotel. Beach and pool very nice. Breakfast various and delicious. Staff kindly. Rooms are clean. If we’ll come Samos we prefer Dorryssa again. Thank you!

Better suited to adults than children. Lovely setting. Helpful and friendly staff. Only €5 to pythagario in a taxi. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Lunchtime snacks near the pool. Fish restaurant and pizzeria in the evenings. Not lacking anything.

Nice hotel with rooms overlooking the sea. Average size rooms. Some rooms have obstructed view of the ocean. We were only there for one night, so we didn't complain about the bartender being able to look directly on to our balcony. If we were there longer, we would have requested a different room. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Cook Samos this October. Truly high quality what you notice in the details. Perfect getaway with delicious fresh cuisine, professional massages (we even booked the deep tissue and mother to be massage twice) and such friendly staff! Amazing hotel in Samos. Couldn’t be more welcomed, felt at home in every sense. You are welcomed by friendly staff from the minute you arrive to the hotel. The hotel has a very good restaurant, a store, cocktail bar, and beach. We have enjoyed 2 whole days only in their beach, which has been so restful. Peaceful setting during night times as well. The hotel was great, from the welcome till our leave everything was amazing. The staff is really friendly. Architecture of the hotel is beautiful and serene. We stayed at the room with the pool and the experience was perfect. The room was very clean. Breakfast buffet is nice, food is good. We enjoyed our stay and definetly go back here!

The check-in time at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM feels unreasonable — having to wait for hours under the sun upon arrival was not a pleasant start. While the beach and room design were overall nice, the carpet in the room could have been cleaner. We visited Proteas Blu in July 2023 and we had an amazing time. Let's start from the good - as almost everyone mentions, the service is (mostly) great. The beach area is great as well. Resort is quiet and nice, Breakfast is ok+. And now let's talk about the weak spots of this hotels - the rooms! The bathroom is like from a 2-start hotel in india, not maintained, shower holder rusted, a lot of scale/limescale. The hotel is big and has a nice sea view but the rooms need improvement. The lighting was not well, the air conditioners were placed wrong and the room was full of ants. Our safe and room cards did not work well. Staff were friendly but will not visit again because the rooms were not comfortable.

It is a very nice place, clean with a very beautiful view. Some steps down and you can swim at the nice, clean and sandy beach where you can dine at its beach restaurant. Make sure to get a spacious room. If you wish you can use its beautiful swimming pool.

Great place with service-minded staff and beautiful rooms. Quiet and peaceful close to the ocean. The only drawback is its location close to the airport, but that didn't bother us very much when we were here in mid-June.

Such a perfect setting for this hotel. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and good food plus a swimming pool that's a proper size and depth. The best part is that you can just stroll onto the beach and relax all day. We had such a great week.

Last year I booked a room at Fito Aqua Bleu Resort, but unfortunately my holiday was cancelled because of the covid situation. This year I went back to Samos and I had a wonderful holiday. Had a wonderful two weeks here. Rooms are basic but very clean and better than many other hotels in Greece. Beds are comfortable and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Good pool and close to the sea with beds available. Twenty minute walk to Pythagorion is fine for dinner. Restaurant at the hotel if you don't feel like the walk but the hotel menu is a little limited. Quiet spot to relax at...

Hotel was very good, rooms very comfortable, may be beds are very high for someone. Refridgerator work good as air-condition. Beach is beautiful, pool nearby, sunbeds along pool is free, on beaches is paid.Food was brilliant, service too. Only mistake is noise from airplanes.I would like to visit one more during spring to see Samos with flowers :-)

We didn't stay at the hotel but we are locals and we made a visit there for swimming and lunch. The restaurant of the hotel is close to the beach and has a very nice view and friendly atmosphere. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had fresh fish, cooked very nice with wonderful taste, and a lovely Greek salad and tzatziki... Then we went to the beach and we had also...

The nicest people ive met so far! The stay was great, room was clean, pool was amazing and the hotel was beautiful. You could take a bus to Pythagorion from the hotel and be picked up again. Next door was a supermarket and the beach is not far. The only thing I would have loved to see if there were more various options for vegetarians during meals :)

The best - and very "gezellig" - hotel of Samos! Mostly because of the two young brothers who are owning this hotel. And of course the solid animation team every year!

I was staying here with my girlfriend for 15 days and for the people who are in to a peacefull easy hotel, this is quite the place. It has a good bar where you can get the standard drinks: beer, wine, black coffee. The food is also fresh and has a wide range. Though there are always people complaining about the versatility, I do not share this opinion as you can not compare it to a five star restaurant...

It's a fairly big hotel spread thru several buildings with a super beautiful pool and surroundings, on the side of a hill. It's not by the sea, so a 20 minute walk is necessary, and it's 25 minutes into Pythagorio town (or €5 taxi). We are s/c guests eating out, in the busy, pretty harbour and locally. Nice place for a holiday in Samos

Lovely people, everything was petfect! After the fire here, everything is the same as been in the beggining. Beautiful beaches and near the hotel was a great restaurant and breathtaking view. We really enjoy our time here and I am sure that we are going to visit Maritsa again.

Good location, friendly staff but the hotel is old and need some renovation. The AC in my parents room did not work and even after asking they could not get it to work. Breakfast isn't any good either, stale bread, not many choices.

Host are very friendly, it' clean, they are changig sheets and towels every Day and clean the room. There is one beach Just infront of the gaude (50 m) but the main beach is 400 m faraway.

This Hotel is located on the one of the best possible location in Pythagorion. It is in quiet street, only 50m from the very cute beach, 50m from promenade and waterfront, 100m from the local fortress and church were you can find attractive view. Hotel stuff is very hospitable and nice.

I liked everything og our stay. The hotel is located very closely to pythagor center and it s just near the sea. The sea was great. There are sunbeds on the beach of the hotel. We loved the room. Pegasus Hotel is a beautiful, boutique hotel. The quality of the design, furnishings and facilities is very high for this price point. Breakfast was more than sufficient. Our top floor room had a huge balcony/patio furnished with a sofa and armchairs. The bathroom, too, was large. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were a pleasure to speak to.

We had a great vacation at Nisea. Great location, excellent facility, beautiful view and very friendly staff. Very close to famous Glicorisa Beach and Port. Kid friendly. We will definitely come and stay soon.

Incredible complex in the middle of nature. Wonderful sea view!!! The apartment was comfortable, renovated, fully equipped kitchen and large balcony. At 100 we had access to a calm beautiful beach. The spot is ideal for relaxation. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go again!!!

Where do I start? I went to Samos for the first time in June/July and travelled on my own. The staff are amazing and made me feel so at home. The bar area was wonderful and I never felt awkward at all. I had coffee at the bar every morning, swam at the beach twice a day and relaxed by the pool or on my balcony sometimes too. It is far away from sea or the center. However, supermarket is close and cheap (known brand). Pool and service was nice. We enjoyed our stay. It was last minute reservation so we had to leave for our next reservation. Otherwise, we would like to stay longer for sure.

We had the pleasure of receiving the best hospitality we've ever had going on a short vacation. The staff is super nice and is doing their best to get to know you. The food here is freshly made and a good price to quality ratio. Drinks at the bar are always a good time. Guest interaction is also very nice. We fell in love with the hotel and we will surely be back.

Nice view, nice rooms and good people

First the bad stuff; it's a cheaper hotel, two stars I believe, so don't expect a giant bathroom, perfect rooms and great breakfast. The good stuff; the basic necessities are all there, the hostess is very sweet and lively, the sea or mountain breeze can cool you and the view from many of the rooms is absolutely magnificent! But remember; you have to walk to this hotel every time you walk from it....

It was our first time on Samos and the first time with Conny and her family. Very personable and helpful. The complex is very well maintained and relaxing and quiet. A rental car would be an advantage to explore the beautiful island. If we go to Samos again, Elena Bungalows are a must

Beautiful location and a nice view. The owners are very relaxed and really make you feel at home. We liked that we were in a bungalow instead of an apartment complex. The bungalow was very clean and the necessary things were present.
