From the moment we arrived, the experience was far below expectations. The receptionist was unprofessional and disrespectful, giving us misleading information about the towel deposit, which later caused confusion. When I tried to clarify, she responded by pointing fingers at signs, raising her voice, and acting in a completely unhelpful manner. At one point, she even gave me money from her own pocket, which was inappropriate and made the situation even more uncomfortable. What made the situation worse was that the receptionist never apologised to either me or my husband for her behaviour. In fact, she acted as if she was the one being wronged, showing no sense of responsibility or professionalism. Someone working at the front of the hotel must be professional, polite, and clear in their communication, as they are the first point of contact and represent the entire establishment. Unfortunately, this standard was not met. On top of that, we were extremely uncomfortable with how management kept monitoring what guests were eating or drinking, clearly disapproving if anything was brought in from outside. I want to make it clear: when I am on holiday, I expect to decide what I will eat and where I will buy it — without being watched, questioned, or made to feel guilty. This experience was disappointing, stressful, and completely unacceptable. In addition to the other issues during our stay, I must also express disappointment with the food served at the hotel. The quality was far below expectations — meals were bland, poorly prepared, and lacked variety. Several items were either cold when they should have been hot or clearly reheated instead of freshly made. On some days, certain dishes were repeated with little to no change, making the dining experience feel repetitive and unappetizing. For families like mine, this was especially frustrating because there were no healthy food options for children, which felt like a serious oversight. Additionally, I was disappointed by the absence of fresh fruits, which one would expect as a basic part of any hotel buffet or menu — especially during a holiday when fresh, nutritious options are important. The limited and unhealthy choices made dining at the hotel less enjoyable and pushed us to look for alternatives outside the property. Improving variety, including healthy options for kids and fresh fruits, would greatly enhance the guest experience.

Fell victim of reading the “amazing” reviews. The hotel and pool/slide facilities are totally decrepit. Food was below sub standard, entertainment consisted of a 15 minute “kids mini disco” by a woman with a speaker on wheels. Grass parasols around the pool are INFESTED with wasps and I was stung twice during our weeks stay. Staff are rude and aggressive and will do anything to squeeze more money out of you. BEWARE and keep receipts for absolutely everything. Eg: paid tourist tax on arrival only to be asked to pay again at check out, and paid our bar tab each evening in euros and at check out was told multiple tabs hadn’t been paid, I smugly pulled out 7 days worth of receipts and ended that one. Please don’t waste your time or money staying here.
