Where to stay in Svoronata

I honestly can say that this was the best hotel I have ever been too. Every single member of staff was friendly and welcoming and I mean every single one. They went over and beyond to ensure that my boyfriend and I had a great stay. We got a free upgrade, free dinner and drinks and when we once went to breakfast late the staff went out of their way to make some breakfast for us. I cannot recommend...

Wow! Everyone here ensured we had the best honeymoon. All were so accommodating, friendly and generous. Stayed here for a 4 night break in Kefalonia with our two boys aged 11 and 13. Service was fantastic and hotel was lovely. Staff were lovely and the hotel facilities and room very good. Fantastic views out across the sea from all the rooms.

Had a week long stay at Electra Kefalonia and I only have great things to say about this place. Rooms are nice and spacious with an amazing view, convenient location and very helpful staff. Katerina's daily suggestions on beaches and tavernas to visit were simply exceptional. Staff at the breakfast and bar were so attentive and polite. Can only recommend!!

Just returned from a great stay at Avithos Resort. The apartments were stylish, spotless, and cleaned daily. Fresh towels arrived every three days, including pool towels—which was super handy. Beach towels aren’t provided separately, so it’s worth bringing your own if you're planning to venture out. A real bonus was the respectful vibe at the pool—no sunbed reserving nonsense! Beautiful resort and wonderful for families and couples alike. It’s a quiet resort but really close to everything you need. We hired a car directly through the resort and it was really easy and reasonable. The rooms are lovely and kept clean. The breakfast is amazing

10 minute taxi ride from the airport, 10 minute walk from the beach, spotless air-conditioned apartments, large relaxing pool, never too busy, wonderfully helpful staff, great food and drinks. The area is lovely too, with excellent restaurants within walking distance and Argostoli, and its beautiful marina, also just a short drive away Exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommended.

We had such a good week at this lovely hotel which we couldn't fault. Loved the laid back ambience and attention to detail that was everywhere. Lovely and peaceful apart from the cicadas! Very clean everywhere you went...lovely friendly helpful staff. The village and it's tavernas are easily walkable and so is the beautiful Avithos beach with its beach bar and 2 tavernas which are both really good...

Just spent a week at the Avithos Resort…. for us this is a little piece of heaven. On arrival there is always a warm friendly welcome from Christina , who goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated with natural materials , set amongst lovely gardens. The fresh water pool is the centre piece of the resort surrounded by plenty of beds and a pool bar...

I had a fabulous experience at the Leivatho hotel. Location was ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Close to a beach with pristine water. Close to a couple tavernas, a beach bar, and a 15-20 minute walk from another 3-4 options. In early July the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Staff were very attentive and always polite and helpful. We had access to beach towels, bikes, pool, gym and breakfast....

Very relaxing there.Clean and tidy along with very friendly staff . Most days we managed to get sunbeds around the pool only by occupying from around 9am. Didn't want to leave towels on beds as we don't agree with that. Maybe a couple more beds would help and get rid of deckchairs as we and others did not like using them. Otherwise this was a nice place to stay.

This was my wife’s second visit to this hotel and my first, beautiful architecture, stunning location, amazing gardens with fantastic rooms and service. 100% will return. The setting is amazing but the staff are incredible, I’d forgotten how warm and welcoming the Greeks are, I’ve not felt so relaxed and welcome for over 20 years.

The hotel is much much more beautiful than what you see online. We had wonderful time. Location is perfect, peaceful, walking distance to the beach and delicious restaurants. the personal in the hotel are lovely, warm and welcoming. The room was always clean and breakfast was good.

Amazing, something different and with a great view...

Okay, so it is a little dated, who cares. Room cleaned and fresh sheets everyday. Lovely helpful staff. Yes planes come over duh, its five mins from airport but its not a busy airport, and you hear them for 30 seconds. Been to Kefalonia a few times and this place is great.

Great value for money, fantastic staff who are always very helpful. Good continental breakfast. Basic rooms cleaned daily.

Lovely family run hotel.Comfy air conditioned rooms. Very dated interior but so dated that it's retro. Spotlessly clean with wonderful staff. Lovely pool. Breakfast is basic but more than adequate. We ate at local tavernas in the evening of which Milos is the best. Next to the airport but 1 plane an hour is no issue.

Loved our experience here. Simple bedrooms, more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast fresh and lovely. We used it as a base to walk/cycle to other places. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to go again😊

Booked a last minute deal at Irinna Hotel and arrived on 240917. Yes, hotel is quite old but staff and facilities more than make up for this. Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need is there. Had a fantastic holiday and would like to return. Special mention to the lovely staff - in particular the pool bar man whose name began with L - lovely, helpful, friendly.

Had a fantastic stay in Kefalonia this hotel he is friendly ,very clean has great air conditioning , lovely clean swimming pools and beautiful local beaches and surroundings. The food is a little basic but substantial.

Everything. Great facilities, very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. The pool area was brilliant for sunbathing and having a dip. Both indoor and outdoor dining options perfect for cooking in. Cleaners came twice during our week long stay and we were well equipped with towels. Labros did everything he could to make us feel welcome (including some fresh Greek pastries!). Can’t fault it.

We couldn’t choose any better! Spacious villa in a quiet private garden. Warm welcome from the owner and his lovely daughter. The place has everything if you are looking for relaxing holidays without crowds. Pool, sparkling clean fully equipped house. Comfortable beds and quiet A/C. I will definitely come back!

We have been at Villa Aphrodite in August 2017 and were very satisfied with our stay. It's new and equipped with everything you need. Its' location is perfect for accessing the southern part of the island and getting to the airport quickly. During the day you may spot lots of aircrafts arriving to the airport.
