We got a free upgrade, free dinner and drinks and when we once went to breakfast late the staff went out of their way to make some breakfast for us. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will 100% be visiting again

Had a week long stay at Electra Kefalonia and I only have great things to say about this place. Rooms are nice and spacious with an amazing view, convenient location and very helpful staff

Stayed here for a 4 night break in Kefalonia with our two boys aged 11 and 13. Service was fantastic and hotel was lovely. Staff were lovely and the hotel facilities and room very good

Yes it is very close to the airport, however this didn't detract, we enjoyed watching the planes come in, the airport isn't a busy one so this didn't disturb us at all

The hotel is much much more beautiful than what you see online. Location is perfect, peaceful, walking distance to the beach and delicious restaurants. the personal in the hotel are lovely, warm and welcoming

Clean and tidy along with very friendly staff. Most days we managed to get sunbeds around the pool only by occupying from around 9am. Didn't want to leave towels on beds as we don't agree with that

Close to a couple tavernas, a beach bar, and a 15-20 minute walk from another 3-4 options. In early July the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Staff were very attentive and always polite and helpful

Rooms were modern and the twin garden view room I stayed with remained cool throughout the near 40C heat. Everything was always clean and tidy and I ultimately had a great time

Espidres, a lovely restaurant just five minutes walk up the road. We ended up going four nights—it was that good. Also loved Sea Salt down at Al Helios beach for relaxed beautiful sea views in the evening

So refreshing not to have to be up at the crack of dawn getting sun loungers! If you're up for exploring Kefalonia, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car. It made all the difference for seeing other parts of the island

Hotel breakfast seemed steep at €26 for adults and €18 for kids, so we popped to the Sagittarius supermarket nearby and grabbed cereal, fruit, and snacks for DIY breakfasts and picnics. Water is much cheaper there too

Recommend packing metal water bottles to keep water cool and we took a lunch cooler backpack with us too for picnics. We did have lunch at the hotel once—pesto pasta was generous and perfect for sharing

The cocktails and beers were spot on too, and the staff were lovely and hardworking throughout. All in all, Avithos Resort gave us a chilled and comfortable base to enjoy Kefalonia

Beautiful resort and wonderful for families and couples alike. It’s a quiet resort but really close to everything you need. We hired a car directly through the resort and it was really easy and reasonable

Loved our experience here. Simple bedrooms, more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast fresh and lovely. We used it as a base to walk/cycle to other places. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to go again😊

Had a fantastic stay in Kefalonia this hotel he is friendly ,very clean has great air conditioning , lovely clean swimming pools and beautiful local beaches and surroundings. The food is a little basic but substantial.

Very dated interior but so dated that it's retro. Spotlessly clean with wonderful staff. Breakfast is basic but more than adequate. We ate at local tavernas in the evening of which Milos is the best

Okay, so it is a little dated, who cares. Room cleaned and fresh sheets everyday. Yes planes come over duh, its five mins from airport but its not a busy airport, and you hear them for 30 seconds

Great value for money, fantastic staff who are always very helpful. Good continental breakfast. Basic rooms cleaned daily.

Been to Kefalonia a few times and this place is great

The villas are equiped with everything that you will need and are located in a very quiet area and enjoy views of the Ionian sea. There is one restaurant within 5 mins walk and friendly bars within 10 mins walk

Excellent, I cannot to praise it enough. We were meet at the airport, instantly I felt very welcome and at ease. The Villa “Valentina” very pleasantly surprised us, the photos on the website don't do it justice

The pool was cleaned every morning and h the whole area was superbly managed and maintained. 8 earthquake at 02:00 in the morning which was quite alarming but the owner still came out to make sure everyone was ok

October half term, arrived about 23:45 and the owner was there to greet us (despite the late hour). The villa was stunning, nicely decorated and well stocked with towels and a welcome basket of fruit and wine

This is an absolutely lovely place with lovely hosts. The villas are clean and tidy and has a lovely pool which is slightly heated making the water like warm meaning it is lovely to swim and play in it

The swimming pool also has balls and other floats for children to play with. There is also a little playground for young children with a set of swings, slide and a play house

Very picturesque vila complex with excellent service. Everything was very clean and tidy. You get room service every day that includes not only bed lines but also all the dishes we used the night before to have dinner

We have been staying at Residence Poseidon for over 15 years. It never disappoints! Its in a fabulous location with great views and is very tranquil. The accommodation is immaculate and room service attends every day

The owner Vaghelis is always on hand if you need anything. The local beach is beautiful and there are local Tavernas that are delightful. The pool and bar area are beautifully kept and comfortable

We had a sea view with a balcony. Great pool area with cozy chairs. The staff were very nice and we really liked the location in Lassi, only 10 minutes from the airport. Photos are of the pool, room view and hotel lobby

Extremely warm welcome directly off our transfer coach. Minimum fuss and cases taken to our room. Next time we have booked a sea view room but our room was spacious and comfortable

We enjoyed our breakfasts and learnt to eat in the buffet and sometimes the Lungmare at night. There are a lot of steps around the site and really you don’t need to leave the site unless you want too

They constantly ran out of hot water for Tea (you have to fill your own tea pot at the buffet) We much preferred the public beach next door as the WR private beach is very narrow and has loads of slippery rocks in the water

Jet2 organised two excellent days out but you need to rent a car if you want to see more of the island. A day trip to Lixouri by ferry is advised. There is a good choice of restaurants in both Lassi and Argostili

I didn't want to leave! A big plus was that we had a late flight and although we had to be out of our room, our cases were stored and we had full use of all facilities until it was time to leave

Every room has a sea view which is stunning the gardens are beautiful this is by far the best place to stay in Greece ??

I would recommend hiring a car as the hill coming back is extremely steep but if you don't mind a walk you are very close to great restaurants, shops and a fantastic beach

Hotel was clean, bedrooms were nice even thought our view was over a tennis court and a bit of scrubland {room 313} cleaners were great, shower head needs looking at, also twin beds not great, pillows a bit flat

All the food is homemade and the hotel is family run which is much nicer than a huge, touristy resort. It's close to many beaches, the airport is near but not to close for the planes to disterb you

We loved our 8 night stay at Sunrise Inn, and it’s relaxed atmosphere. The pool was great, our apartment was cleaned every day with fresh towels and the owner was friendly and helpful

We love the Princess hotel in kefalonia and have visited 5 times now because we love Costa Costa beach and facilities. This year the Princess has decorated the rooms and improved the breakfast

Comfy double bed and has to be one of the best showers we have ever had in Greece. on arrival we were welcomed with a friendly smile and our room was even ready earlier than the check in time

Sea view was slight, also there was not a lot of natural light into our room we had the electricity on most of the time we were there

The clothes facilities was for us staying 2 weeks was absolutely not good it was open plan hanging rail thing with no doors, shelfs so high you have to be a basket ball player, and then the oppersite two draws exactly on the floor not a very good architect for a hotel! Breakfast was the same boring stuff every day: stale bread, cereals, just the one, when you have a cheese allergy and everything is...

Breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. It would be nice if staff could consider a regular walk around pool to ask guests if they wanted a drink. I only experienced this once during an 11 night stay

On arrival, they were aggressive, not what we deserved. After taking all day to get there, we headed for the restaurant we spent 350 euros we actually had a good time service was friendly food, well, it was different

Next, we ordered a lunch snack (Mexican wraps) waiting and waiting they did not arrive, I asked what happened to our order 3 hrs later joking with them have they arrived from Mexico yet?, they did not appreciate the joke which it should have been the other way round I should have been grumpy cause we did not get our order, they said that the person misunderstood that took our order, see that word...

Then we decided to have everning dinner which we ordered a bottle of wine, again "misunderstanding", (that word again) cause we did not get the wine, the waiter just forgot

There is also a separate shaded area under a pergola or a couple of olive trees to sit under if you prefer. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel and the sea

Our room is clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view which was unexpected but has added to our experience here

There is also a little taverna overlooking the sea which is beautiful. Sun beds are 20 euro for the day and 15 at the other. There are refreshments available on both beaches which are reasonably priced

Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast had loads of fresh fruit and fresh Greek yoghurt. Also bacon, beans, fried eggs, scrambled eggs etc. plus usual continental breakfast with some extra Greek cheeses

The sea view from our balcony was beautiful, and breakfast had plenty of choice every day. What really made the stay special though was the staff – everyone was so friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble

We had a room with a sea view, which we got, but the balcony was ridiculously tiny, no more than 25 centimetres deep, with a single stool and fold down table that was big enough for just one tea cup! Clearly we couldn’t spend any time on the balcony to enjoy the sea view

They only charge 6 euro and can save you a headache if you’re arriving late or have a lot of baggage. We try to stay here everything we are in the city. And they are open in the off season!!

Pretty nice outdoor seating at an elegant garden for breakfast, the hospitality is great

Nice and quiet in the evening. You’ll need an eye mask for some of the rooms as the curtains are typical Greek style in that they allow a lot of light in. We didn’t have any trouble parking each day outside the hotel

The small kitchenette in our room was very convenient and having a fridge to store water was useful. A good value hotel for those on a budget. Aircon also very good in the room we stayed in

We stayed for a week, we really recommend peace. always very clean, white marble that stands out. even if the doors and furnishings are a little dated except for the new kitchenette

I also found clothes pegs, detergent and sponge for dishes since there is an equipped kitchenette, excellent location a stone's throw from the centre

to be reached on foot, the only drawback free parking which if you return late in the evening you can often find it in some side street

Our second stay at Hotel Aggelos and we were not disappointed. Upgraded to a sea view room where we enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive/depart. Hotel staff and family in this family run hotel cannot be faulted

We stayed here for 2 weeks from 10th June 2025. We booked a superior double room overlooking the sea, the view was amazing. We loved to watch the cruise ships and turtles

Everything was so good and perfect, especially owners who were so professional. Rooms were always clean, from the top of house you can see the village and enjoy in view. Mount Athos is so beautiful to see

If you happen to go there during the Covid pandemic and need a test for traveling back home, ask Angie. She'll call a local doctor and test you with a quick antigen test and provide you a legal document

Also helped us with the barbecue as we've had some fresh fish from Argostoli( highly recommend). I would definitely come back here, the view is superb, some fine beaches are at 5-15 minutes by car

One hour to Assos and Myrtos beach, in a fantastic journey by car, the roads are all ok. The capital, Argostoli, is at 20 minutes by car, a drive which you easily learn from first day

Loved our stay at Fiora Villas. The location was awesome. House was clean and very functional. Nice views. Angie our host was very friendly and accommodated all our needs.

This has been an excellent solution for our stay in Kefalonia: in a small, quiet village but still near Argostoli, a great view from the balcony, comfortable mattresses, a very well kept pool, all in a very nice and green villa, perfectly managed and kept by Chris

A very nice place to spend your vacation! The accommodation conditions are very good and you will have the kind assistance of the host, a young man who should be praised for the way he looks at the future of the property!

The only downside I see is a common problem with the greek sewer system, especially in the islands, which is very delicate and prone to clogging, so they ask you not to flush the toilet paper

It's on a steep hill (hence the view) that probably requires a car unless you're a very good uphill walker. A few good beaches can be reached in a few minutes by car, or even walking

My suggestion for the best restaurant in the surrounding area is: Gefiri

We also went over to Luxouri on the ferry which was very reasonably priced, just over 3 euros each way and this was also wheelchair friendly. Overall a brilliant holiday and we will definitely be looking to return

The evenings are quiet with most people spending time after dinner playing cards and chatting - no loud entertainment which makes it perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing escape

The pool is also very accessible for someone with walking difficulties, 4 or 5 wide steps and a rail to hold on to. The hotel is very clean, our room was spotless, very modern and we had a fantastic sea view

Also recommended the short walk from the cove along the coastal path to the lighthouse, only takes about 15mins. Thank you to the hotel management and staff for creating such a beautiful, friendly place

Happy to say that standards are stiil high, very clean rooms, good breakfast and wonderful staff (Kostas always has a warm smile for guests and the dark haired lady on reception was lovely)

The prices were about on a par with other places and as I have said before very large portions. We went into Argostoli and Lassi, they were only a few minutes away in a taxi 8/10 euros

Didn't stay in the accommodation, but the restaurant was lovely. Great food and good value, with really nice staff.
