Where to stay in Symi

Stayed for 6 nights and we loved our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location 2 minutes from the harbour, restaurants and taxi boats. Carlo and Daniel go above and beyond with your stay and recommend all the great things to do on the island. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are made every day. Definitely stay here.

This hotel has a European aesthetic while blending in perfectly with the character of the island. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it for anyone visiting Symi. It is also in close proximity to the port. Great experience!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, with tastefully and meticulously decorated suites overlooking breath-taking views. Fabulous team led by the lovely Frances and Andrew, who made us feel so welcome and provided everything we could want, including mouth-watering dishes, beautifully presented. Cannot recommend the Old Markets enough.

The old markets is a fabulous place to stay in symi I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay great service very friendly staff and the owner Andy makes you very welcome will definitely be back

Amazing views over the bay. Clean. Well positioned in Symi town to remain peaceful but close to the action. All the basic hotel essentials needed for a mini break.

Food was ok, service was ok, toilet not quite as ok. Didn't stop here so can't comment on accommodation.

Fantastic personnel and amazing view!! Very friendly and forthcoming - and with a great ambience. Don't forget to enjoy a nightcap on the private pier before bedtime 🍸

Probably the best boutique hotel on Symi & the perfect place to spend your holiday. Vaporetta ,the restaurant, has excellent dishes & the Italian owner is a great guy!

I LOVED the Aliki Hotel, where I spent several nights in June 2015. It's the perfect place to stay when visiting Symi! Located at the water's edge, with excellent dining available, and a stunning roof terrace. The hotel is charming and the staff is very accommodating!!

Outstanding boutique hotel right on the water in one of the prettiest harbours you could imagine. Family run with friendly personal touch. Best recommendation is that about 80% of guests appear to be repeat visitors.

We have just had two nights here. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were friendly throughout. The room was a little basic, but very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a good selection of hot and cold food on the breakfast buffet. The location was in a quiet part of town but within a few minutes walk to the harbour area. Would recommend this hotel.

Easy walking access from harbor, centrally located but in quite place. Warm welcome by friendly staff who makes feel like home. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, daily change of towels. Rich breakfast with variety of choices. Nice gardens.

Located a short walk from the main harbor area, the Opera House is situated in a very quiet location. The gardens are very well maintained, the rooms very clean with a comfy bed and the breakfast, although quite a small selection is cooked fresh and is very tasty. Just returned from a wonderful stay at The Opera House Hotel, Symi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool area with very comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast plentiful and something to suit all. Junior Suite very nice with lovely views. Can’t fault anything and hope to return one day.

The location of the hotel is very convenient offering also private parking. The staff is friendly, always willing to assist, provide directions, and recommend interesting excursions, which added a personal touch to our stay. Absolutely lovely. Stayed at this traditional Greek lodging house lots of times with Frank and family. Super friendly, spotlessly clean and, if you have the breakfast, it's one of the best views on the Island and the food is first class. Although I love the location do be aware that it is on a hill, and that going anywhere from Taxiarchis involves both steep up and down.

Family owned and super tranquil. My balcony looked down over Pedi Beach. Frank was kind enough to pick me up and drop me back at the port. Make sure to buy your return ticket. I didn't understand it but Frank said the agency wouldn't allow him to drop me off - then l showed him my ticket. Probably some bureaucratic thing. Excellent breakfast!

Rooms are nicer than many basic Greek apartments, and included a double bed, which is unusual. Plenty of towels available although the kitchen utensils were sparse, only two mugs for three of us, for example. We had an amazing stay with our 5 children. Our youngest daughter birthday was very well celebrated they made a cake with candles and sing Creek birthday song all together The areas island how you imagine Greece it would be for 1000f years ago. Freshly renovated rooms and bathrooms. The view over Pedi Bay - not the island main harbour - is lovely and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful (except for the occasional goat or poultry). The family that runs it goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. A relaxing place of quiet beauty.

We stayed here 30-09-2023 to 07-10-2023, the place is lovely, the staff are fantastic they were so helpful but not intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent but do not go expecting an English fry up. We absolutely loved this place! It was in a quiet area of Symi a short stroll to Pedi Beach. The room had natural light streaming through. The breakfast was fresh and varied. The service staff were friendly and helpful. A bigger walk down to the main Port but good exercise. Asymi Residences do pick up/drop off to Port for arrival/departure. Excellent location with a sea view in a quiet neighbourhood close to the beach, taxi boats and bus station. Staff were extremely helpful throughtout our stay with very good advice on where to go on the island. The owner picked us from the port upon arrival and dropped when we left.
