Hotel Panellinion in Trikala

Reception and breakfast services were impeccable. Interesting collection of books, furniture, telephone apparatuses,coins and some folklore items. Bathrooms need upgrading. All in all, a pleasant experience, value for money. Recommended for a relaxing accommodation.

Located at perhaps Trikalas most central point the hotel boasts a truly magnificent facade, dating back over a hundred years the hotel is truly majestic in both look and feel.
The hotel with its entrance and reception, its dining area and staircase, antique filled landings and it's very high ceilings is in every way classical, almost like a time machine.
Our double room was quite on the small side and as with the bathroom was in need of a refresh but not to the point where you'd turn the room down, slightly disappointed with the air conditioning which whenever switched on smelled and the lack of sockets in the room but the very comfortable bed more than made up for the rooms few negatives.
The service from Mrs Marina and her staff for the entirety of our stay was fantastic, even after checking out.
Truly a heartwarming place to stay.

Thanks for a wonderful stay, the hotel is beautiful and quite unique, we loved it. Excellent customer experience, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfy. Having breakfast under the vines was a real treat. Highly recommend and definitely going back 😃

What a a wonderful place to stay at, I highly recommend. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they even greeted me with a fredo and water. The rooms are comfortable and in good condition. I love that it's an old building with old furniture and high ceilings. It's perfectly located and close to all the bars and restaurants but is still peaceful and quiet.
