Liuba Houses

First of all, Gerakas and its surroundings is definitely the most beautiful place on the island, quiet, without large hotel complexes and crowds of people. That reason is the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, for which further construction is limited. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation in beautiful nature (and you like turtles :-)), Liuba houses is the ideal accommodation. I especially appreciate the wonderful attitude of the owner and his family at Liuba Houses, definitely listen to what he tells you and recommends and you are guaranteed to have such wonderful experiences as we had!

I went here with my parents and my brother for a vacation. In short, I could say that I was completely satisfied with everything. We stayed in the Green House. The pool was heated and very nice. There were lots of beaches around, the nicest ones we went to were Gerakas (500mtrs away) and Banana Beach (5mins by car). Only 20 minutes away from the airport. There is a rescue turtle mini museum with free entrance and a gift shop. You can also see turtles and fish in aquariums. There were also a lot of cats walking around which was really nice, one of them being my profile picture. They are all really nice and friendly. Amazing and thank you to Jorgos and Agata for being very friendly hosts!

We are a family of four, we lived in the Green House. We've been going on vacations for many years, and this is the first place we want to return to. I lack words to describe the warmth of the hosts. The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well-equipped and functional. It was very clean, and additionally, every day when we went out, the cottage was cleaned. We were there in the last week of April, and the whole (heated) pool was for us. There were very clean and comfortable mattresses on the sun loungers by the pool. The surroundings of the cottages were simply magical - green and colorful with flowers. It was very hard for us to leave; personally, I felt like I was saying goodbye to family. Dear Agata and Jorgos, thank you very much for everything, and we deeply believe that we will meet again. Ania and Family.

A very lovely place. The houses are beautiful and very clean. The place is well situated. The housts are great, very friendly and helpful and open to all your questions and wishes. They do their best to make your stay as good as possible. We had an amazing time and loved to stay at that place. I would recommend it a 100%.

Cute houses in the middle of olive trees, perfect for vacation, has all you need, very clean. The location is perfect, near the best beaches (gerakas is 10min walking) and also very good taverns. The hosts are very nice and honest, they give you the best recommandations to enjoy the stay!

The location is great as many of the good beaches and restaurants in Zakyntos are nearby. It is also pretty close to the port/airport. The host was very nice and took us on a tour of the surroundings (free of charge) in order to show us the places to go and the tourist traps to avoid. The place is very cozy and quiet. Also we did not expect to have our house cleaned every day. Very good value for money I would totally recommend!

Our group booked 3-4 houses (2 with pools) in may-june and we had one of our best holidays in the island. With villas in a neat shape, well positioned and provisioned, the entire complex is attractive to stay and gives you a welcoming and comforting vacation feeling. Our hosts, Giorgos and Agatha, were always there for us, were open to any requests and we enjoyed interacting with them a lot. We even got to know local businesses and visit nice places on this tranquil part of the island as Giorgos got us acquainted with their friends.
We recommend that you explore the area, come in off-season and book a minimum of 2 weeks there for a full relaxing experience.
PS: we had our infants and 3 dogs in our group with us.

Great villa in a nice park, all very well kept. The villa was in perfect condition, with rather large rooms. The surroundings are calm, yet with several tavernas and shops, and a beautiful beach nearby.

Update July 2022: we came back! We stayed at Green House this time, it has the same layout as the Aristos house and we had, again, a very pleasant stay!

July 2019: We stayed at Liuba Houses for a week. It's a great place for families: there is a very big yard, well taken cared of, with beautuful plants.

We stayed in Aristos House. It has a living room, a fully equiped kitched and two spacious bedrooms, each bedroom with its own bathroom. The house is very clean.

In the first day, the owner gave us in a short 20 min tour of the soroundings, showed us the main beaches, some local attractions and recommended some places to eat. That was very useful for us :)

If you are an animal lover, the owner has several pets, all vaccinated and friendly. Our kids enjoyed them.
