Where to stay in Vasilikos

Had a lovely stay here. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties due lots of steps

Nice quiet place for relax, nice views, nice quiet smaller Beach, but better than overcrowded, excellent for children, futher from Pallazo do Zante, hotel Room service average, but we are ok with that, one thing would be fain to have is animation program during the days and especially in there evenings(missed greek evenings, music etc experienced in Crete or Cyprus) :) on the other hand..thank you...

Beautyful Island.Good value for money.

At this hotel I like the food and my room.But the hotel isn't very luxurious.I suggest you to go there.

We have just come back from a lovely 2 weeks stay here. We were warned by the holiday company that half thw facilities were closed. And the lift to the beach was broken. This wasn't a problem to us. We arrived at midnight due to flight problems 11 hrs later then we should of. The staff at the hotel very kindly had made us sandwiches and puddings and we were also greated with drinks. Furniture is very old and used up. Food is the same every day. Pool bars OK. Cleaning of rooms OK. Nothing for children, child center damaged and closed, available only 2 water slides for 4hrs of day. Is needed to take a car, bus or taxi, if you want to see something more at the island. 4 stars are absolutely not real, for me max. 2, maybe 2.5, not more.

We came to this hotel with some trepidation, due to the poor reviews and tui calling us a week before practically advising us to move hotels. All I can say is thank you tui, and thank you the moaners who left those bad reviews. Because as a result, we’ve had one of the best holidays for a long long time! The hotel was practically empty!! We spent 5 days here... it is a family resort with lots to do for kids but not so much for couples! We loved the private pool... drinks are not good but the food is ok for an all inclusive resort... Just spent a week here as a family of 5. Hilary, Ria and the whole team are just amazing!! Nothing is too much trouble. First time in Zante and decided to go and stay at Vasilikos Beach Hotel. Absolutely perfect hotel, rooms were immaculate and staff very always very friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent and not too busy in the mornings, all tastes catered for and always fresh. No issues at all with all the putting towels out rubbish you see, nothing like that at all, plenty of space and always nice and chilled...

We stayed here for the first time in June for 18 nights. We have been all over zante but this was first time in vassilikos. The apartment was absolutely superb. Hillary Roxanne Giannis and staff were absolutely fabulous and made our stay so special. The pool area is beautiful, beds free, plenty of spaces . Food delicious .. the bar is lovely in the evening. This is a very friendly, welcoming hotel. All the staff are great. Lovely swimming pool and although we went in the second half of June, never any problem in getting a sunbed. Only one couple put their towels out to reserve a bed. You also get free sunbeds and parasols on part of the nearby beach. The beach is sandy and is 100 metres away. Absolutely 100% can recommend. We have spent a week at this hotel (5 people), during last August. Smaller, comfy hotel with pleasant calm atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic cuisine. Clean rooms, fantastic staff and occasional bonus program. Excellent people and excellent place! The rooms are modern, clean and the location is fantastic. Far from the noisy streets next to the sandy beach you will find peace and calmness. The food also is one of the best you can find in a 4 star hotel! A true experience of Greek hospitality and style!

Very nice family acommodation in quiet location of Vasilikos with very nice staff and good meals. There are some taverns and markets around. Beach is 200 meters from the hotel with sunbeds which are free for guests. I recommend rentig of car for people who would like to explore Zakynthos.

I recommend staying at this hotel!!! the staff very kind and smiling. there is a beach at the aspro krino hotel ,palm beach park,which is really amazing. the ladies at the reception made me feel good and the barman in the evening. i will be back!!!

we stayed at the hotel in august. I want to mention that our holidays there were very nice, the room was cleaned every day, the food was decent, and I want to highlight the smile of the employees! I also want to give many greetings from Bratislava to the ever-smiling Panos, the bartender, who always made us feel good!

There si a good servise and really nice woman. The swimming pool is what you need when its hot weather. The rooms are clean, bathroom is little bit small but It is OK. Food is delicious. The resort is near the beach. On the beach you have free boats.

We are just back from another stay at Villa Contessa. We always have such a quiet and relaxing holiday there. All needs are catered for by the wonderful host Spiros. He booked our car hire and a taxi to the airport. Also little things like a bottle of water and some wine in the fridge for our arrival. With good restaurants and the beach a short walk away it suits us perfectly.

We have had the most amazing time at Villa Contessa, and definitely will not forget the exceptional location and sunrise views from our suite. Spiros is an ideal host and was always willing to help with any of our requests. Highly recommended.

I can't believe that I've found this peaceful and quiet place just a few minutes from busy Argassi. The view from the balcony makes me wonder if I'm dreaming? But it's all real-the intensely blue sea, the scentful Mediterranean vegetation around and blurry mountains that I notice in the distance. the host Spiros is very nice and organized our rental car, the pick-up from the airport and a trip to the shipwreck for us. explained a lot about the island and even offered us a better room once we arrived! view from the balcony is amazing, rooms are very clean and it‘s not far from restaurants and the first town.

Wonderful accomodations, wonderful host, wonderful island. Spiros (host) was so welcoming, I can nothing but recommend this place for everyone who wants to explore Zakynthos and relax at the island's amazing beaches.

Beds on the grass are free if you buy lunch and/or dinner at the bar. We went to Plaka last summer 2021 at least 5 times. The bar manager, the restaurant manager and the two boys that did the restaurant service were all very very kind and helpful. The food was great and our family loved it there. We are clearly not Greeks (we're dutch) but we are sure they didn't treat us any less, they welcomed us...

Really relaxed, not crowded sandy beach. 10 euros for 2 beds and umbrella. Mainly couples and families.

The owner was very welcoming. We reserved the place on booking and the listing said "sea view" and there a is a see view but not from the bedroom that we stayed. The bed was comfortable which is what matters the most to me.

At first glance, it's nice, but on the second it turns out that the cleanliness of the houses is not preserved.

Excellent place to stay for a quiet trip away. Lovely local restaurants which were really good by any standard and easily walkable. The communal parts of the hotel were great. Only issue is the room. I think some rooms have been upgraded but we must have been in an older one. Whilst clean and well serviced the mattress was horrendous. Like sleeping on concrete.

This was our third stay at the Belvedere and another great holiday.This time we went with my brother and sister-in-law and they loved the hotel as well. Our stay at this hotel was not what we expected, there were several issues that impacted our experience. On arrival at the hotel, the initial room we had been allocated had been crossed out on our paperwork. I had an absolutely fantastic time in Zakynthos at Villa Katerina. The rooms are spotless and Danai and her husband are such generous and kind people. A few minutes walk from the beach, the supermarket and the busstop makes this a perfect base, both to explore the island and at the same time relax in a quiet area. A truly fantastic holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Katerina, it's located in a quiet area full of olive trees and close to the sea. Porto Roma beach and restaurant are 2 minutes away. The studio was beautiful, big and clean, with a great view. It was very peaceful, far from the noise of the town. The owners, Danai and Kostas are lovely people and very helpful. They have a friendly dog, Arion, which we loved to pet on...

Very nice and beautifull place to stay. The owners are very nice and make the place look very tidy. The sea is just 300 meters away and there are nice restaurants and a Super Market closeby. The sea is perfect for snorkeling and the turtle beach is closeby. I would really recommend this place.

Definitely not a 5 star resort. Older man at reception on arrival wasn't very friendly. The facilities are average, gym very dated and in a basement, pool isn't that big and filled with kids, beach has no activities on offer. Just returned from another fabulous stay at the seaview and each time we see what keeps us coming back. The apartments are comfortable ,extremely clean ,well maintained with superb views.the hosts are amazing and there isn't anything too much for them.

We loved everything about this hotel. We visited with our 2 children (3&8) and it was perfect! The room was split with a mezzanine upstairs that had 2 beds, and a huge king size downstairs. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given! I’m sat here now on the lawn, the water lapping not 50feet away. Room: Excellent. Fridge was ice cold, frying pan for eggs in the morning, corkscrew and bottle opener. 2 ring hob works well as does toaster and kettle. Cleaned daily! Area: so close to all amenities but few 100m from shop and lovely restaurant and bar. Check out the ready made baguettes for lunch...
