Where to stay with pets in Balatonalmadi

The food in the restaurant was good with plenty of options. However, the pack lunches were very poor and didn’t cater for everyone’s needs

There are no kettles in the rooms, so your only option to drink something besides tap water is to go into the lobby. And to go down you have to catch a lift, which can take up to 5 minutes sometimes,

The location of the hotel is very good and convenient

On the minus side: - food in buffet is varied and attention is given to restricted diets but whatever runs out isn't always refilled, so go early - elevators are sloooooow :D - skyrose bar has great view but slow service, so be prepared to wait On the plus side: - good sauna variety (but not always at the indicated temperature) - interior pools (nothing special but handy when the weather's bad) -...

Great location and the redesign was done beautifully. Only thing lacking is the food. I felt like they could use more waiters at times and the food tasted cheap and spiceless.

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel

Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away

The view to tge lake from the balcony is absolutely amazing!Also the reception area is nice and the room has renovated doors and windows, also it has all the basic necessities and even the bed is very comfortable

Most of the equipment is really from the past decade, the AC costs extra per each day, the shower was clugged when we arrived and it seams that cleanliness is not really the very first priority

All in all it served it's purpose for spending a few relaxing days by the lake Balaton at close proximity but nothing special. Considering this, I felt he price range was a little high

The meals are good, but tends to run out of variety options for food if you arrive a little late

Rooms can be upgraded with newer TVs and beds , but service and food and location are great. Very very good food and not expensive.

A nice place to stay even for a couple days, has interior swimming pool, private parking and comfy rooms. Offers breakfast or lunch meals.

It's a nice, quiet little place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are not too large but OK. We had breakfast only and while it was delicious and filling, it was every day the same

There were our course a few choices. The hotel has a little wellness spa: a small pool, jacuzzi, sauna and stream room, but the rooms don't come with bath robes or hair dryers

Altogether it's better than you'd think for it's 3 stars

The food is very tasty and in a good prices. Place has access to the lake with its own cute marina. There are lots of things to do like tennis or the wellness section, which is in a very good condition

The train unfortunately goes close, but on the one hand it is natural in Balchin and on the other hand it was not overly disturbing. The guest is welcome to return here!

For families with children it is also a perfect choice, there is a swimming pool, small football field, sandpit, ping pong table and close to Lake Balaton

This Mediterranean hotel is a real gem among the accommodations on Lake Balaton. They are kind, friendly, attentive

We really like the pension, we are returning guests. The owner is very nice, they prepare and serve breakfast themselves. Its location is perfect, opposite Wesselényi beach. We will definitely come next year!

It was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are exceptionally friendly, the location is just opposite to the main public beach and very short walking distance to the city center.

The wooden house is a bit retro, but clean, comfortable and cozy. There is everything you need, including washing and cooking facilities.

The many plants are beautiful and well-kept, despite the fact that several old trees have already had to be cut down. The city center and Lake Balaton can be reached quickly from the back gate

The bungalows are simple, but the kitchen is well equipped. The row of tables in front of small houses is also very suitable. The shower room has also been renovated, but it is quite small

Renovated room with new windows, doors, furniture, everything. Good sound isolation. Refrigerator in the room. The kitchen is well equipped.

What is a big advantage (location on the top of a hill) is also a disadvantage because it is hard to get here without a car (from the shore of Lake Balaton it takes about 7 minutes on winding, narrow and very steep roads)

Yes, it is possible to get to the lake, but the bigger problem is to go back :) Important information for motorists: by car, you should drive here "from the top" along Gerle Street and avoid Attila Street, which is indicated by the navigation - this one is in very bad condition, narrow, with a loose and rocky surface, generally a pity about the suspension

Fantastic place to come with family and friends. The apartments are located in the house where the owners live, however this is not a big problem as there is enough privacy

Gabor was a great and welcoming host. Brilliant breakfast. Location is excellent, views are magical and the accommodation is clean and spacious.

The hosting couple is very nice and helpful! They provided us with program recommendations, restaurant offers, and a list of attractions! Breakfasts were very direct, with an almost friendly atmosphere, with delicious home-made fresh food!
