Luxury Hotel Siofok

This place is far from “Luxury”. The cleanliness is by far the worst I’ve experienced at any place I’ve stayed. There’s poo on the outside of the toilet boil. Cob webs everywhere around the room. The couch and chairs are stained. Their answer is to cover it up poorly with bedsheets.

Multiple lights don’t work and the metal shades in the bedroom to block out light from the other hotels and street are broken and stuck in the open position.

STAY AWAY!

Very incompetent staff, wrong with dinner and we were late. In the room there was no towels at first promised in half an hour, and then it was postponed for tomorrow... as alternayive suggested used towels.??? and even mold in the shower.

Pretty unfair to entice travelers to Siofok in October: the season ended in August, the city boarded up, the people there, the shops are closed. We booked this hotel for 12 days, but left on the trail.morning: the staff does not speak English, the bathroom left a bucket full of trash from previous occupants, toilet and toilet brush in other people's feces, the chandelier smashed, the walls stained from dead insects in the corners of the spiders. At Breakfast the administrator is unceremoniously pulled out plates, though the place is to eat, though really we had 8 people in the entire restaurant. Disgusting fall. Perhaps in the season there is fun and the staff are gaining competent. Would not recommend if you have a car: walk to the nearest bakery 5 km.

Rusty towel dryer, bathroom sink tap spurted water everywhere when it was on and it was pretty much just a dribble that came out , broken shower head holder, broken toilet roll holder, no towels, no shampoo, no shower gel in the room, bed went down in the middle, loads of spiders/webs on the balcony and doors, dining table was broken and went everywhere when we tried to eat, ended up putting folded bits of tissue to stabilise it..disaster, also spa not like the pictures, dark and not welcoming, jacuzzi out of order, we didn’t even bother to use the spa, Balaton Lake was much more appealing! Only good point was the breakfast, which was nice, sadly it was the same stuff every morning, got very repetitive after the second day. We ended up leaving early.
Overall it was not the best experience, we booked this to celebrate getting married as a treat to ourselves, was not worth the travel. Definitely not a 4 start hotel, 3 star...at a push.
Staff were friendly.
