We booked accommodation for the second time, close to the beach, barbecue facilities, perfect location for holding team-building events.

The place is great, the beach is close. Large park with old trees, bacon baking, pot roasting, what more do you need?

Clean rooms and shower, nice receptionist. The breakfast was good. The cleaning ladys are helpfull and nice. Went with a 2 year old no problem. They have a bicycle storage, bit aquard to lift up your bikes if not lightwaight.

The hotel is located in a quiet location, but close to the beach. Super clean, tidy house and garden. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. We even got lactose-free milk! ;) The host is very nice and attentive. I recommend!! :)

Very basic, but it's not for the hotel (a little bit of retro) experience it's for the location by the lake. Swimming pool, basic outdoor gym, tennis, table tennis, garden chess, pool table, bike rental all available. If you can, book the premium wing.

The place is very retro (happy ’70s). Aside from the fact that nothing was invested in the exterior of the hotel, the rooms are neat, clean and whitewashed. The staff is young, most of them speak English and are always at your service. The food is great. A little advice, you should install a playground for children. Totally som weak 4 for service 😊

Don't expect more than you can get for your money and you won't be disappointed. All in all it's a cheap place to rest with simple rooms in retro/outdated style.

Fantastic place to come with family and friends. The apartments are located in the house where the owners live, however this is not a big problem as there is enough privacy. We had a 1 night stay with my boyfriend in off-season period, so we didn't us the pool, but the villa itself has a beautiful location with amazing lake view, the rooms are good size with nice bathrooms, the owner is extremely helpful and kind, it was just like a stay at home. Great location and the redesign was done beautifully. Only thing lacking is the food. I felt like they could use more waiters at times and the food tasted cheap and spiceless.

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel. This Mediterranean hotel is a real gem among the accommodations on Lake Balaton. They are kind, friendly, attentive. The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool is amazing. The train unfortunately goes close, but on the one hand it is natural in Balchin and on the other hand it was not overly disturbing. The guest is welcome to return here!

We were very pleased with everything 🙂 Cleanliness, spacious well equipped rooms, divine breakfast and very nice staff. For families with children it is also a perfect choice, there is a swimming pool, small football field, sandpit, ping pong table and close to Lake Balaton.

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful. Bikes available to use, and in summer season you can rent SUP as well. They have a nice playground and a small outdoor kids pool.

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff). You won’t get good internet service but you will get a chance to really relax and take some lovely swims and walks.

We stayed for two weeks and held our wedding there! Friendly and accommodating staff who really looked after us. We enjoyed using the Volleyball court and table tennis. Excellent location with a private beach and free use of sun loungers. Comfortable rooms with balcony, fridge and hairdryers. Great value overall and would certainly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away. Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

We stayed here two nights.everything was fantastic .Clean and specious room,professional foods and specially friendly and helpful stuff but the negative point is that they don't tell you about the drinks you order in the resturant at dinner time that are not included in halfboard and you have to pay service even for the water!

Very nice hotel, the rooms are nice, the food is outstanding, the spa is amazing (though standard in Hungary for these kinds of hotels). The lack of smart TV option, and the severely bad treatment of the staff resulting in an overworked and understaffed team really left a bad taste in our mouth. If it wasn't for the genuinely incredible effort of the staff, our stay would have been ruined.

The owner was really very kind, she recommended a lot of things to do around the lake, accommodation also very good, very close to the city centre and beach, nice local pubs and restaurants. And it is possible to leave your own bicycles hidden during the nights so they are safe.

Kind, helpful host, cleanliness, beautiful garden, flowers, balcony, closed parking, 5 minutes from the beaches and promenade.

Pretty good accommodation. Very nice host who provides cosy and clean rooms. The house is situated near the esplanade and beach and in spite of that you will find a calm area.

Csilla is a very nice and welcoming host. She gives you her personal phone number to fix anything that isn't right, anytime. The location is perfect.

The place is close to the center and close to the beach. It has a pool, so if the lake is too cold, it is a great option.

Reception and service were fine. You must definitely take into account the plasterboard walls in the rooms, you can only fall asleep at night when your last "neighbor" has also fallen asleep.

The hosts are nice, cute and helpful people! the room and the attached bathroom are excellent! we had everything we needed to relax! dog-friendly accommodation, close to everything you need, e.g. tagore promenade, restaurants, cafes, etc.!
