Lovely hotel by lake Balaton It was wonderful, the hotel is located just minutes from the beach, breakfast was delicious with home backed goods. The hotel has a great wellness area with whirlpools, jacuzzi and saunas. Everything was clean and very good. The staff was professional and friendly at the same time. Thank you!

Good but not good enough This hotel needs an urgent upgrade. The spa area is great as is. But the coffe machine would have flooded the restaurant if i would have not told thexstaff. Juice machine was not turned on. Okly water came out. The breakfasg was barwly ready at 8.30 when time was 8am. (Whicj i comsider late for a hotel). The rooms are smelly of humidity and else.

We had a great time staff were proffered and friendly and the atmosphere was awesome definitely looking forward to spend some more quality time there.

Clean rooms and shower, nice receptionist. The breakfast was good. The cleaning ladys are helpfull and nice. Went with a 2 year old no problem. They have a bicycle storage, bit aquard to lift up your bikes if not lightwaight.

Very nice place, clean comfortable friendly staff. The outdoor pool is great for little kids they can play there all day long while you keep an eye on them from the pool bar.

Very basic, but it's not for the hotel (a little bit of retro) experience it's for the location by the lake. Swimming pool, basic outdoor gym, tennis, table tennis, garden chess, pool table, bike rental all available. If you can, book the premium wing.

The place is very retro (happy ’70s). Aside from the fact that nothing was invested in the exterior of the hotel, the rooms are neat, clean and whitewashed. The staff is young, most of them speak English and are always at your service. The food is great. A little advice, you should install a playground for children. Totally som weak 4 for service 😊

Fantastic place to come with family and friends. The apartments are located in the house where the owners live, however this is not a big problem as there is enough privacy. The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't. I stayed for 4 nights for work. The hotel staff barely speaks English (except at the front desk). The room is poorly maintained; there was no one available to make me tea or coffee. Housekeeping was the worst experience. They only cleaned my room twice, and on one of those occasions, they cleaned the room but not the bathroom! Unexplainable! I had to go out and get towels after a long day at work....

This Mediterranean hotel is a real gem among the accommodations on Lake Balaton. They are kind, friendly, attentive. The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool is amazing. The train unfortunately goes close, but on the one hand it is natural in Balchin and on the other hand it was not overly disturbing. The guest is welcome to return here!

We were very pleased with everything 🙂 Cleanliness, spacious well equipped rooms, divine breakfast and very nice staff. For families with children it is also a perfect choice, there is a swimming pool, small football field, sandpit, ping pong table and close to Lake Balaton.

A very pleasant place to relax, a well-equipped kitchen with beautiful appliances, cleanliness everywhere. Helpful, flexible owner.

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful. Bikes available to use, and in summer season you can rent SUP as well. They have a nice playground and a small outdoor kids pool.

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff). You won’t get good internet service but you will get a chance to really relax and take some lovely swims and walks.

We stayed for two weeks and held our wedding there! Friendly and accommodating staff who really looked after us. We enjoyed using the Volleyball court and table tennis. Excellent location with a private beach and free use of sun loungers. Comfortable rooms with balcony, fridge and hairdryers. Great value overall and would certainly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away. Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

Very nice host. Clean comfortable room. A small negative is that the window in the bathroom could be covered with foil so that the neighbors can't see in.

Tried for one night. It was clean and quiet. But a very small room with the smallest shower I have ever experienced in my life, I felt a bit like I was in a submarine. The location of the hotel is great - just at the end of the Tagore walkway. It will be good idea to ask for room with view of the lake and may be on the first floor as the hotel does not have a lift. However, the room is just okay, you should not have very high expectations from it. Breakfast price is included in the room price and HUF 450/per person/night is the govt. tourist tax.
