Where to stay in Balatonkenese

We were on the free beach in Kenyes. The time and the water were excellent. You can get a delicious flame in the buffet, but you can also have ice cream. We had a lot of fun.

It is a very cozy settlement on the shores of Lake Balaton. It is cozy to walk along the beach all year round.

Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier. The rooms definitely are on the older side. They are very manageable but bathrooms are tighter and the overall cleanliness just wasn't there. Lots of hair in our room in carpets...

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

Just visited relatives and had a dinner, but as I saw the hotel is perfect for families with kids. The room could be a little bigger. The food is at the highest level.

Service at the restaurant could be better…long waiting time for drinks! Othervise we still love it…beachfront and the view are great. Kid programs also good.

Very nice and friendly hotel. Food was five stars on 3-4 June 2023 I asked first if parking has fee and they said no. Then at checkout they wanted a parking fee, so I said the day before it was different. So just make sure this parking is clarified before checkin. You might be able to park just on the street in front of the fence.

Excellent sport and spa facility. Priceless view from the pool to the beach. Very kids friendly. Easy to reach.

Once you find it, the property is located right next to the lake. There is a good bar and restaurant which has been recently renovated. We like the room for our family and we would come again.

I got the hugest schnitzel I ever saw in the restaurant. It was good too. There is a direct access to the lake, although the beach itself is rather small. The hotel is located at a closed, private territory, which is good.

Really nice place to enjoy Lake Balaton, sail and do some sport. Very cozy hotel and superb restaurant. A must if you are planning to visit Hungary.

Cozy place for family holidays. Village Everything happens around leisurely, life flows slowly. Retirees live around, enjoy life. Beautiful views of Lake Balaton and the mountains. I like it.

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful. Bikes available to use, and in summer season you can rent SUP as well. They have a nice playground and a small outdoor kids pool.

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff). You won’t get good internet service but you will get a chance to really relax and take some lovely swims and walks.

We stayed for two weeks and held our wedding there! Friendly and accommodating staff who really looked after us. We enjoyed using the Volleyball court and table tennis. Excellent location with a private beach and free use of sun loungers. Comfortable rooms with balcony, fridge and hairdryers. Great value overall and would certainly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away. Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

The view to tge lake from the balcony is absolutely amazing!Also the reception area is nice and the room has renovated doors and windows, also it has all the basic necessities and even the bed is very comfortable. Rooms can be upgraded with newer TVs and beds , but service and food and location are great. Very very good food and not expensive.

It's a nice, quiet little place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are not too large but OK. We had breakfast only and while it was delicious and filling, it was every day the same. This Mediterranean hotel is a real gem among the accommodations on Lake Balaton. They are kind, friendly, attentive. The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool is amazing. The train unfortunately goes close, but on the one hand it is natural in Balchin and on the other hand it was not overly disturbing. The guest is welcome to return here!

We were very pleased with everything 🙂 Cleanliness, spacious well equipped rooms, divine breakfast and very nice staff. For families with children it is also a perfect choice, there is a swimming pool, small football field, sandpit, ping pong table and close to Lake Balaton.

Great location and the redesign was done beautifully. Only thing lacking is the food. I felt like they could use more waiters at times and the food tasted cheap and spiceless.

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back to stay here again!

Good value for families with kids with small caveats. TVs are a bit outdated, they lack smart TV, so you can't broadcast YouTube on them from your devices. 2. The wooden house is a bit retro, but clean, comfortable and cozy. There is everything you need, including washing and cooking facilities.

The location is amazing but unfortunately is not well managed for the following reason: 1. Generaly is clean and i order but the infrastructure are becoming from the comunist era; 2. There star hotel, rooms are to be paid in advance, rooms are clean and have the feeling of the eighties (which reminded me of my childhood). Breakfast is OK, prices are low compared to other places so close to the lake Balaton.

Beautiful landscape, huge trees, green all over! Hotel rooms are not so nice. Beach is perfect! They charge you for dog 3000 Forints/night but you got nothing for your money! Dogs are not allowed on the beach, they have to be leashed everywhere. Lot of kids program, playground.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are exceptionally friendly, the location is just opposite to the main public beach and very short walking distance to the city center.

We really like the pension, we are returning guests. The owner is very nice, they prepare and serve breakfast themselves. Its location is perfect, opposite Wesselényi beach. We will definitely come next year!

Extremely clean place with honest owners. The room is a bit small for two people. It is very close to the beach. Nicely maintained environment. Dogs are not allowed.

Great experience here with small children. Friendly staff and really nice meal both for breakfast and dinner. I can recommend them.

Great place, but in case you don't speak hungarian, you really have a problem 😃 Languages like english, german, italian or czech don't work here

We had a 1 night stay with my boyfriend in off-season period, so we didn't us the pool, but the villa itself has a beautiful location with amazing lake view, the rooms are good size with nice bathrooms, the owner is extremely helpful and kind, it was just like a stay at home. Thank you so much, I really recommend it to everyone!

The room was adequate with a fabulous view. The owner is fair, he even came to the train station in front of us. There was order and cleanliness, the rooms were demanding.

The hotel is beautiful . We stayed in the 9 room hotel with no other guests . There is a panoramic view of the Balaton from our balcony. There is a steep hill to go down to walk to the city center .
