Where to stay in Cegled

I really don't understand these negative reviews about Aquarell hotel. We spent there last night (2 rooms reserved) with HB option. First impression was really good, Ladies on reception were nice and polite. We got a rooms for 2, but one should be for 2+child. They fixed it immediately (in 10 minutes we had already additional bed). Rooms were really clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms very ok. Wellness...

Very comfortable and with lots of extra's like swimming pool and sauna. Great diner and breakfast buffet, all you can ask for. Had a wonderful short stay and will surely come back next time I'm in Cegléd.

Nice hotel, in a great location for families, as in the summer months the next-door activity centre, a large water world with slides and pools, opens up. The town centre is a full 7km away, so not ideal if you want to stroll to town for dinner or after it. As for the accommodation itself at the time of my travel, Covid restrictions made my stay much less pleasant, since none of the hotel's facilities...

Everything was goood but the internet was tooo slow

Cozy rooms and a nice bath. Food was good, but based on it's stars I expected less monotony.

The room was warm and clean but no kettle to make tea ,the breakfast the kettle top kept falling off when you went downstairs to the breakfast area they should have replaced this must be so expensive to replace ,no fruit juices or bread rolls no yoghurts no jams cheap butter , couple of morning they didn't even have it all ready ,apart from the breakfast the hotel was ok .

The staff were very nice and friendly. We spent just a night but the place seemed to be very nice and clean. I recomand this place, especially because it is close to everything.:)

We were here for a wedding. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable and clean. There was a little bit of a lamp alone, and it was also dim. The environment is very beautiful and tidy, cozy. Extremely delicious wines, good brands, well-prepared staff, very tasty food and last but not least: a very, very hospitable csslád!! The environment and ... the pictures speak for themselves!

What an experience! We stopped for one night but it was more than that. There is an amazing team waiting and caring for you. We were called on route and offered the option to have the dinner prepared in advance since the restaurant was closed upon our arrival (after 20h). And they prepared a delicious meal which was delivered to our room. Plus you get secured and gated parking, a quiet remote location...

Amazing place I a park like setting. Loved it there!

Very peaceful place. It's in a remote location that's the only down side. Breakfast was good and the rooms are comfy. Little bit old but fine. The worst thing was the bugs and mosquitos in the rooms. When we got inside the room, there were more than 10 mosquitos and a lot of dead bugs.

We were unsure of the location as it is really located away (not far) from the autoban. We were pleasantly surprised when we showed up to property. A quiet country setting. The reception staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is quite diverse and plentiful. The bean goulash is good and satisfying. The food is served pretty fast, in a couple of minutes. And the serving size is generous. Later edit. Came back, it still is delicious and the portion big.

We did not stay here, we just stopped in for food. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was patient with the language barrier. I ordered a veggie and rice plate with stuffed mushrooms and the spouse ordered catfish paprikash with homemade pasta. The food was DELICIOUS. I was unable to finish my meal but took it with us to eat later.

I have been traveling to and from Romania by car for the last 15 years and I found this motel to be the best in every way. Superior quality at an affordable price. But most of all I recommend it for the professionalism, politeness and warmth with which you are greeted by the employees of this motel. Thank you.

Great stop during a long drive. We had hearty goulash in a pot for 2 that we couldn’t finish and Greek salad, plus 2 coffees for 25 euros. Excellent value for money

On the way to vacation, we had to sleep in this place due to a vehicle breakdown. Very friendly, kind and welcoming approach to our needs from the employee. (beyond his duties). Clean air-conditioned rooms.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Quite a lot of noise because there is a restaurant on the ground floor, and those who have events and stay here go up and down until late at night, especially children, who run freely. Stairs are hard to climb, especially when you have heavy luggage. A plus is the proximity to the Aldi store, just across the street.

Big lounge. Kitchen. Nice lady at the table however not very good English speaker. Nice rooms. I had a balcony as well. Low price. Very good and quite location in park just 300m from downtown. Cofee, tea cokies etc for free.

Great value for money, good location.

The hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to visit the centre of Kecskemét. Very clean, receptionists are very polite and they speak perfect English as well and the size of the rooms and bathrooms are perfect too. Also there is aircon everywhere in the hotel. In our room there was no blinder unfortunately so it was quiet light from the early hours. Apart of that it was brilliant

We had a great stay, nicely decorated and trendy rooms. Shower was small but plenty and instantly warm water. All very clean, great breakfast, airco worked very well. Location is a great plus too. Parking in garage or in front of the hotel included, when available.

Small but clean, large, modern rooms and cheap

"Modern rooms and very close to city center." + Free parking. Very modern rooms and clean + air conditioner. - breakfast buffet could be better and more colorful. Certainly the hotel should buy a proper and better coffee machine. Have a coffee without the kitchen lady is somehow impossible.

We spent one night four friends in two double beds. The staff very kindly and welcome. Rooms are cleaned and comfortable. Location is very good and they have free parking places for cars. I mean, I work here, honestly. It's a neat place. People are as nice as you are to them, not much else to it. Smile and be friendly, and people will bring the stars down for you. Almost anyting can be worked out if you give a notice early enough. Protip: 3xx and 21x rooms are more quiet than 20x rooms.

Good stay, parking is a bad experience

Secnond week of my stay: I changed from Basic to this one! The room was bigger and had a balcony. I stayed in this room for one week.

We only stayed for 1 transit night. Clean, quiet, good breakfast. No outside terrace for coffee, but we have a coffee shop right next the hotel

A nice place to stop for a night or two. There were no windows in the room, but the hotel has a private underground parking, good location, kind personnel.

Small but tidy little hotel in the heart of Kecskemét. Perfect if you search for a place just to sleep and move on. The breakfast was good and the staff was kind. The shower cabin was so small I actually considered taking a shower outside of it, and let the sink in the middle of the bathroom handle the water. Hrmpf... The underground parking lot was very hard to find. For those who wish to use it...

It feels good. It’s my first time here and I’m very impressed.

I can not say a bad word about this hotel, we have stayed here many times. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The food is always good and nicely priced, and the service is always outstanding. There is just one thing I would recommend, it would be that there are milk portions in the restaurant, or maybe in room for those who would like to have a tea or coffee in their room.

The hotel has perfect location, in the heart of Kecskemét., for 2 minutes from the Theatre, for 5 minutes from the Bus station. The rooms was large and nice, clean in every day, very comfortable with elegant style and modern design. And the food - the breakfast and the lunch- was fantastic; very tasty and lots of varieties... The manager and the staff of the restaurant was very attentive and friendly...

We booked over the phone, and arrived late at night : 4 double rooms for 2 families with 3 dogs for one night. Simple and smooth check-in, with all the information that we needed and a recommendation to eat at the El Bandi snack bar which was just across the road (excellent burgers and hotdogs, good value for money).
