I recommend it to everyone who wants to spend a pleasant weekend or even more time near Lake Balaton.
All for 5. There is also a swimming pool. Quiet street. To the beach about 10 minutes on foot, and to the city about 35 minutes. The room is tidy, the only thing missing is air conditioning.

Location is a little out of town, but pleasant and quiet. There are two very good restaurants close by and it’s only a 15/20 minute walk into town and all Kestheley has to offer. Very clean and comfortable with a nice swimming pool. Breakfast was OK but cost extra. Owners are friendly and helpful. If you don’t speak Hungarian, schoolboy German is required.

Mosquito repellent was installed (electric), which is very attentive. The tea and felt good after a long trip, I knew what the things are available in the kitchen to prepare myself. This is where I will always come back! When we arrived, we were greeted by an older very nice couple. The accommodation was waiting in the attic with a 4-bed room. The bathroom was equipped with a cultured hand wash, shower gel. The fridge with the common dining room was waiting for us. Our owner has recommended a restaurant to go to. We received the advice and didn't even mind ... Look at my other...
The host was nice! We arrived unexpectedly and until we checked out the castle, we got the accommodation right! There is also a car seat so there is no need to park in the street! The garden fruit offered us! The place was comfortable. I recommend to everyone!

If you are looking for a sparkling clean accommodation with super nice hosts, this is the right place for you. Well-cared for outside and inside.
With a really great pool, cleanliness also perfect here. In bad weather, a roof can be moved over the pool. At the pool several covered seating areas for eating or just lingering in the shade, as well as several very comfortable (!) Loungers by the pool...

It is family panzió in nice place, few minutes from balaton, supermarket is at the corner, few good restaurants around the house, and pool in garden. Next year if we go to balaton we go here! :)

They do not accept credit cards, so be prepared. The rooms are spacious and nice, but with no AC (they have blinds though). The shower is clean, but could do with a bit of renewal. The TV is only in Hungarian. The place overall is nice, in a quiet part of town. Good breakfast, tea, coffee, juice, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, salami, cereals, jams, milk - only cold stuff, some hot sausages would be good...

Perfect place for staying one night while cycling around the lake, nice rooms with bathrooms, comfy beds and a very rich breakfast.
Decent place, furniture and rooms are kinda old but clean. Front desk clerk was very polite and eager to help.
I've stayed twice. The second time for nearly two weeks. It is wonderful. Breakfast is very good and the owner and staff are wonderful.
The rooms are in perfect condition, we even have a hair dryer and a kettle in our room. ?
Also there is a refrigerator in the corridor.
It's absolutely worth visiting.

The bad reviews here ale clearly from before the renovation.
Hotel is new and beautiful. Spa is big and has large pool with warm water. Whirpools are spacious so you can almost always find your place there. Hungarians are kinda loud in saunas tho.
Food is tasty and the selection is big enough.
Rooms aren't huge but will do and everything is clean. Staff was nice and mostly spoke english.

Věry nice new renovated hotel, the staff is doong their best, maybe only bit slow in restaurant - during dinner we had to wait to get wine list. The sauna world is great, there is an offer of sauna ceremonials, 1 open jacuzzi, 2 warm pools. We enjoyed our stay for 100% and hope to return again this time with kids
It was a great hotel. My father and I thought it was new, then found it in a old map we had from the 1970. Great amenities right on the Balaton and central to most everything

We were satisfied with everything except the weather.
Good place to stay. There are plenty cooking and grill equipment. The tennis court is ok but you can enjoy the table tennis as well. It is in good location, you only need to walk through on one street to get to the beach (takes around 15) minutes but city center is even closer. Only giving r stars because they charge extra for the aircondition which is a little bit unusual.
